Incognito tickling dust brush by Topco

I was wary but excited to receive this toy—and with reason. Once I had the product in my hands, I knew immediately that it was going to do nothing for me. It takes one double-A battery (which I took from another toy just try to it out), and has a variable speed vibration (which as strong as a cell phone vibration) and the bristles are not soft enough to stimulate even the most ticklish person, and I found the obnoxiously hot pink things everywhere; I was picking them off my work clothes in the car, finding them embedded in my dog’s fur, in my hairbrush, and all over my bedroom…despite my only having opened the toy to feel it.

When I got the chance to use the toy, before using the powder (which is a whole other story), I brushed it along my friends back (which she found itchy and annoying). The little canister the powder is kept in is messy at best. The powder goes everywhere when you’re opening it, and dipping the brush in there proved a skill that must be learned. I can only relate the flavor of the powder to unmade Kool-Aid or Jell-O mix. The powder is sugar free, which is wonderful because otherwise you’d get sticky, but I would rather use the toy without the powder; not only because it doesn’t taste good, but because it’s messy, and opening the canister makes this awful nails on the chalkboard noise.

When you dip the brush, a cloud of flavored powder fills the room and gets stuck in your nose (which can be painful). The powder leaves a white trail where you put it, which you’re supposed to lick up (and is also supposed to be sexy). I found trying to find all the powder on my partner’s body and licking it off to be annoying and tedious, about as fun as mopping my kitchen floor and as sexy as kisses from my dog. The toy, needless to say, will remain in the very bottom of my drawer. (With the clothes I don’t wear, so I quit going out with hot pink bristles all over myself.)
