It melted! (But was fun while it lasted)
Fun little toy, worth the money for couple play, but may be too wimpy to get you off on its own.Published: February 28, 2010
Pros:
Small, quiet, fun warm up toy.
Cons:
Not very powerful, bullet heats up distressingly.
This little guy worked just fine for foreplay and intercourse fun, but the dolphin's "nose" was a little bit too thin to get me off on its own. My boyfriend had a lot of fun playing with it with me, though, and this simple little guy spiced up simple foreplay quite nicely.
My biggest issue with this guy, though: It melted! The bullet heats up if on for a long time, and since it clicks on and off, it apparently got itself turned to on in my toy bag late one night. I opened my toy bag the next day to find the bullet's battery dead, and the skin completely melted. It took me a few days to fully clean my toys and bag of the residue and rubber chunks. The bullet worked fine afterwards, though. I would highly recommend removing the skin when storing the toy, just in case - thankfully the bullet didn't harm any of my other toys.
The skin was sometimes annoying to get on and off, but the ability to remove it made this guy easy to clean throughly - though the little details on the dolphin's head can be difficult to clean throughly. The bullet does heat up, and while with the skin on it makes it pleasantly warm, it can be on the edge of comfort if you're holding the bullet by itself. As noted above, it can apparently heat up enough to melt the skin, so I wouldn't recommend leaving it turned on for long periods of time.
I'm not sure if the bullet heating up was an issue with mine alone or not (I'm assuming it was with mine only, personally) but I would be cautious.
So...decent toy for the price, provided yours lasts - just make sure it doesn't turn itself on!

Experience
Good, up until the dolphin melted. Ignoring the melting, it was a fun foreplay and intercourse toy - I'd certainly recommend it if you're looking for a warm-up vibe or a teaser. While it may or may not do the trick for solo enjoyment, it's a good grab for the price.

bullets and sleeves
-
never used a bullet before. Is slippage ever an issue? does the sleeve ever get over streched
-
I'm assuming that by "slippage" you mean the bullet slipping out of the sleeve? If so, we haven't used that particular bullet before but we've had many similar to it and have never had a problem with slippage. Actually, most of them have been tight enough that the bullet can take a little work to remove and put back. We haven't had trouble with the sleeves getting over-stretched either, though some will tear eventually.

what doyou prefer

do you prefer the finger vibe or do youprefer a normal vibrator?

Quote: do you prefer the finger vibe or do youprefer a normal vibrator?I only used a normal vibrator for the first time the other day as well! I would say they serve different purposes. The finger vibe was used for clitoral stimulation as a quickie, if you will, where as I found the normal vibrator to be more effective for full blown fun. The normal one I used had an attached rabbit vibrator for clitoral stimulation as well though- that seems to be what I need, so I would go with that kind of vibrator ove just the vaginal vibe.

melting toys..scary
Wow, I never heard of a toy melting. Sorry to hear that!
Oh my! Thankfully it melted in the toy box, and not on you. I had one once that did in fact melt to me, and then the control box starting sparking and burnt little holes in the bedding. Scary!!
Next time make sure to keep it in a cool dark place away from other jelly things. Also make sure that it isn't folded onto itself. Keeping it in a plastic bag or glass jar helps too
Is it possible to remove the batteries from the bullet? If so, I would recommend taking them out when not in use. This will not only prevent the skin from melting off when the bullet is accidentally turned on in the middle of the night, it will also prolong battery life.
Thank you for the review.
Wow - that got seriously hot!
Melting toys = full of fail!
I will be taking the batteries out of my Dolphin Teaser.
I'm worried about mine melting too...I used it for maybe 10 minutes and it got so hot I turned it off and took the batteries out.
