It's Good to be VainThis is an extremely well crafted rabbit-style vibrator that will provide lots of pleasure. It is made well, has lots of power, can be used in water and is incredibly quiet. It's shape might not be perfect for every woman, but it is an extremely well made and quality toy to have.
The first thing you notice is the packaging that the Vanity comes in. Jopen does a great job in packaging their toys. The 6.5 arrives in a white cardboard box that is wrapped in plastic. There is a large purple V on the front of the box with "Vanity by Jopen" just above the middle of the V. The back of the box includes a picture of the 6.5, the Jopen name once again and some of the features on the 6.5. When you pull off the top of the box you will find the toy sitting on raised cardboard that is designed for the 6.5. There is a pamphlet included that has pictures and descriptions of all models in the Vanity line and a small frosted info tag that looks like a bookmark. (And is serving that purpose on my wife's nightstand right now.) Also included beneath the cardboard cutout is the charger and storage bag. The storage bag has the Jopen name across it and is very large. If it were okay to store silicone toys together (which it is not, don't do it!) you could easily fit three toys in this drawstring bag. If you chose to give this as a gift you would not be embarrassed at all by the packaging, even with a picture of the toy on the back. We are using the storage bag for storing the 6.5 and have only discarded the box and cardboard cutout. My wife is lustily looking through the pamphlet trying to decide which Vanity will come to live with us next.
The Vanity 6.5 is rechargeable and comes locked. To unlock the toy simply hold down the two buttons near the base of the toy for a few seconds and the two buttons will flash red and the toy will unlock. The 6.5 does need to be charged prior to its first use, even though it does have some juice. It has a lithium battery that takes about three hours to charge, and will give you 3 hours or so of playtime before needing to be recharged. The charging port is on the back of the toy and you must put a little force in to make sure the adapter connects properly to the toy.
The Jopen 6.5 is made from pure silicone which rates a 10 out of 10 on the product safety scale. It is latex free, anti-bacterial, phthalates free, is hypo-allergenic, non-porous and made from food grade materials. It has no smell or taste to it at all. It is fuchsia or pink depending on how you view the color spectrum. I thought it was pink and my wife corrected me. There is a little bit of drag to this toy and is almost entirely seamless, with one small seam on the back that my wife only noticed when we were looking at it, she didn't feel it at all. Since this toy is made from silicone you will want to use water-based lubricants on the 6.5. Do not use oil-based lubricants or else you will damage/destroy your pricey new toy.
It is a rabbit-style vibrator in the fact that it is designed to internally and externally stimulate a woman at the same time. It measures 6 1/2" long, with 4 1/2" of the toy being insertable. It has a diameter of 1 1/2" and a circumference of 4 3/4". The clitoral arm is 2 3/4" long and is flexible to be able to move depending on the woman's clitoris position and how the toy is inserted. The head of the toy is pointed and gradually expands before tapering off near the base. Even though we have similar toys in size, this still felt very big to my wife and lubricant is highly suggested. It is very flexible and can bend to fit your anatomy for the most part. The clitoral arm is flat and designed to press against the clitoris I would expect, but my wife had trouble getting it to stay in the exact right place.
There are no patterns to the vibrations on the 6.5, just one steady speed. This was another reason my wife liked this toy a lot, she usually doesn't like the different patterns and enjoyed the power from the constant vibrations in the motors. The motor within the shaft is very strong, I would give it a 4.5 Vroom out of 5 if I could. The clitoral motor is a little weaker, I would rate it around 3 Vrooms out of 5. Factoring those together I give the 6.5 4 Vrooms out of 5 overall. It is very powerful at its max power and made my wife very happy with the power it provides. It is also incredibly quiet, especially considering the power. You cannot not hear this through a door at all. We tested this out by having my wife take a bath and me listen outside the bathroom as she used the toy. Even with a small bathroom and a thin door I couldn't hear the toy at all. I give it a 2 Bees out 5.
The 6.5 is totally waterproof. We tested this thoroughly with my wife playing with this both in the bathtub with the toy submerged and in the shower and it worked fantastic. A little bubble protects the charging port so that no water seeps in and damages the toy.
The toy is pretty small overall and can travel easily. I mentioned how you unlock the toy earlier, and to lock it you do the same thing, hold down the buttons for a few seconds until the lights flash and then the toy will not turn on. You can then throw it in a suitcase or bag without worrying about it turning on while TSA is screening it.
Cleaning this toy is very easy. You can wash it warm soapy water, or also use anti-bacterial soap, toy cleaner and anti-bacterial wipes/toy wipes to clean it. Do not boil this toy or place it in the dishwasher because of the motors.
We really like this toy. My wife loves the feel of the silicone and the power provided by the motors. It stretches her a bit even though we have similar sized toys, and the clitoral arm doesn't quite get where she needs it to. She's thinking another Jopen toy will be a little easier to handle and find her clit easier, but she still has this in our "favorite" toy box.
