It's like Glow-Worm, only better!

At $11.99 this is a good, basic, fun, dual-bullet vibe. It may not last long but at this price you can buy a few and keep one in your night-stand, one in your purse, one in the car, one at the office...

extremely useful review
I've owned more Cal Exotic bullet vibes than I can count. I've owned two of this particular model, the two-bullet, glow in the dark vibe. It's my go-to toy for everyday use, usually at bedtime when I am tired and wired and need something shut my brain down for the night.

This particular one differs from others I've owned because it has two bullets, not one, and it glows in the dark. It's non-porous, phthalate-free plastic with very smooth texture. It takes two AA batteries and I'd rate its battery usage as better than average. It cleans up easy with anti-bacterial soap and water, or wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol. Water, oil, or silicone lube works well.

The two bullets feature rocks. I slip one in and let it sit right on my g-spot and the other I use on my clit. As a girl who often finds rabbit vibes, which are designed to hit both spots, just don't quite fit her anatomy, I appreciate the fact that the bullets are always in the perfect spot.

The bullets are controlled with a dial and the vibes range from barely there to gloriously intense. They are not independently controlled, which I feel is a shame sometimes, as it would add to the appeal to control the two bullets separately. On most days, I am just content with one dial, and enjoy myself without putting too much thought into it.

The noise level for this vibe is excellent when new. At the highest setting I can hear it under the covers, but definitely not from behind a closed door. I did notice with my first one that as it aged, the highest vibration setting got a little loud, and sometimes "clacky", like the vibrating parts were hitting the plastic case.

The glow-in-the-darkness is pretty cool when you get under the covers and look at it. It takes me back to the good ole days of Glow in the Dark Silly Putty! That said, as a sex toy feature, frankly it doesn't do much for me (other than help me find it when dropped, without having to turn the light on). My only concern is what is it that makes it glow and is it body safe? I often think too much about such things, so I am sure it's probably fine. (But if you know, feel free to send me email so I can sleep at night)

A word of warning: It's just not advisable to use a bullet vibe anally. Period. I've had many bullet vibes, including this one, with wiring issues. They will break off where the wiring joins to the bullet. Given the tendency for wiring fatigue in general, if you add to the stress by using the wires to pull the bullet out you, WILL END UP WITH A BULLET LOST IN YOUR ASS. Seriously, just don't.

As I said above, the wiring has a tendency to break off where it joins the bullet or the controller, inside the wire casing, and of course the bullet will stop working at that point. But, I've worn out most Cal Exotic bullets I've owned, and so it's entirely possible it's me and not the toy. I keep buying them because I do like the intense vibes and at $11.99, if I can get a year out of one, I'm happy. This particular model is 4 months old and so far works perfectly. The one I had before this lasted about 10 months.

So, let's review - Two bullets: goooood, glowing in the dark, fun (unless someone emails me to let me know it glows in the dark because they make it with uranium). Durability: questionable. Price: can't be beat. Anal use: NO!
Follow-up commentary
I sometimes consider replacing this toy, now that mine has bit the dust. It's a great bargain and the plastic cleans pretty easily. It may not be the most durable product sold, but if you are careful with the wiring, it can last and for $12, it's powerful and the glow in the dark feature makes it more fun than your plain old average double bullet.

Great review! I'm a fan of simple, double bullets myself. One problem I've consistently experienced with mine, however, is that after the first couple weeks, if the bullets are left on for more than fifteen minutes, they start to heat up considerably. Have you experienced this with your bullets?

Miss Cinnamon - I've not noticed a head problem with this bullet or the last one I had, but I have had heat problems in the past (with this brand too) so I have to think it's a possible issue with this model as well. I've had some that got so hot I had to stop and use a different toy while it cooled down. Å burnt clit is so not sexy!

Thanks for the review! I've got this set of bullets, too, and they're a good, reliable toy. I used to wish for independent controls, and then I actually tried one that was supposed to be functionally identical to this, but with two control dials. I was not a happy camper, and the toy is at the back of the toy drawer.

No need to worry about the glow-in-the-dark being dangerous. It's part of the plastic, not on the outside. It's kind of like borosilicate glass: boron is toxic, but borosilicate glass (pyrex) is safe, because the boron oxide can't leave the glass. So the chemical that makes this toy glow in the dark is like boron in our glass toys, not like phtalates in the jellies.

*grins* Thanks lily, for the info on the safety of glowing stuff. I have to agree with you, ultimately, on the independent controls. Since it's such a simple toy to begin with, making it complicated would probably result in far less use.

Thanks for stressing the anal thing. I think some people think anything is safe for anal play. I hope you do replace it. Sounds like it works well for you. Good review.
