I'd been looking for the perfect remote vibe for a while, and when I saw this egg, I thought it was just perfect. I had to have it. When it arrived, I was completely surprised. I don't know why, since I had seen a picture, but wow, this thing was huge. I think I was expecting more of the regular vibe egg size, but this thing is more like xl chicken egg size. The egg was made of plastic, but had that soft, velvety feel, not cheap slick plastic. There is a handy retrieval cord for when you want this inside, and it's kind of handy to hold on to for external stimulation too. I just love the 10 function vibes. Sometime you are in the mood for a subtle touch, some days it takes much more. The multi function vibes are perfect for either. There are different buzz levels, different pulse levels, and the best, for me, the combo pulse buzz escalations. Even though you know the combos, they are so varied that it's always a surprise.

The buzz felt best on the outside for me, which was a huge disappointment. I had really wanted a good experience from inside, but it just didn't happen. Maybe it's just my level of sensitivity, but I could barely feel it most of the time. Only on the highest levels was it strong enough for me. Outside, it was awesome, but inside, not so much.

I was really pleased with the feel of the egg, as well as the waterproof construction. I wouldn't want to throw it in the dishwasher, but it was perfectly fine with a good dunking to clean it with soap and water. The remote is small, and fairly discreet, as long as no one questioned where the buttons to open the garage door were. (They are under a slide cover.)

The life of the batteries was pretty bad. Even with brand new batteries, the vibe lost considerable power after only 2 or 3 uses. It isn't like I was over using the toy, so 3 days of life doesn't seem all that great. Investing in rechargeables is a good idea.
