Ivy intimate touch massager - vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Effie

If you’re looking for a toy that gets the job done quickly, then the Ivy Intimate Touch Massager is not necessarily for you.  One of the main issues I had with this item is that the vibrating clitoral pad is too small. You have to position it just right to achieve the full effect.

Also, it’s not that powerful. It definitely requires some time to achieve an orgasm. I would not recommend this massager if you want to get off fast.

The seven different levels are interesting and allow for some variety. The first is a less intense continuous vibration, the second is faster and more intense, and the third is very fast. The fourth is two quick buzzes followed by a longer buzz. The fifth consists of continuous short quick buzzes. The sixth alternates a slow buzz with a faster more intense buzz, and the last level starts out low but increases quickly then repeats.

I personally prefer continuous vibrations on my clit, so only the first three levels really appealed to me. The others were either distracting or just a tease. While the different levels can be fun for some people, I can also see how they would be a little frustrating.  Say you find a level that is quite enjoyable and you accidently hit the button changing it to the next level. You now have to go through all the other levels before you get back to the one you really enjoyed.

Also, for anyone who lives with other people and runs the risk of being interrupted, this toy could cause some embarrassment because there is no quick off switch.  You have to go through all remaining levels until it turns off.  There would be no mistaking what you were doing under the covers.

While this massager is small and fairly discreet, it is rather loud.  But because of its shape and size, it would be an OK toy to take with you while traveling.

I found the Ivy Intimate Touch Massager to be mainly for solo play.  My husband did not like it at all.  He found it to be rather awkward to hold, especially when trying to push the button to change levels.  Since I didn’t get too turned on by the Ivy, he found it quite boring.  We definitely will not be using this together again, and I probably won’t be using this by myself much either.
