Platinum jack rabbit - sex toy by Cal Exotics - review by Dawn (Lilac Distraction)

This rabbit is one of my favorites. I would recommended it for advanced beginners and pros alike. I would caution those new to toys in general or rabbits because this toy packs a punch and the vibrations may be too powerful for some.

The Cal Exotics Platinum Edition Jack Rabbit has six vibration and six rotation functions so you're bound to find the right settings to take you to paradise.

I am one for strong stimulation and powerful vibrations and found the high to be the perfect setting for me. There are three speeds and three pulse patterns which are great for a tease. The rabbit ears hold the vibration very well when they come in contact with the skin and the rabbit's nose can be used for direct stimulation if you prefer. You can flip it around and use the rabbit ears to stimulate the anal opening. For me, the position of the rabbit worked perfectly with my anatomy.

The rotation of the shaft is both comfortable and stimulation. The metal beads are non-jamming and provide much more stimulation to the G-spot and vaginal opening than the pearls that other rabbits contain. In my experience, the rotation of the end of the shaft is just enough but not too much and provides a wonderful deep vaginal and cervical pleasure.

I have used this vibrator alone and with a partner. It is a bit on the loud side even under blankets so it isn't entirely discreet on the noise level. It can also intimidate some men so I wouldn't pull it out unless you know your partner is comfortable with toys.

The bulk of this product is made of TPE which means it can be a bit tacky. I would suggest using a lube like System JO H2O which is water based and works beautifully with the TPE. It is also compatible with silicone based lubes.

The toy has tiny bumps and ridges down the shaft which I couldn't really feel. However, when fully inspecting it, I saw an adorable little smiley face under the "head" of the toy. It cracked me up and made me love this toy even more.

For cleaning, a little soap and water or toy cleaner should be all you need. I would also use a condom with it when sharing because TPE tends to be porous. Also, due to the stickiness of the material, I would store this in a drawer or other lint-free area because it is notorious for picking up fuzz.

I really love the design of this rabbit. It is pretty light weight but has enough bulk behind it to provide a nice thrusting sensation. The shape of it fit well with my anatomy. The rabbit ears and nose are positioned very well so that I was able to have direct stimulation even when the shaft was fully inserted at five inches.

The size of it is mid range. It is a little smaller than most penises so it won't intimidate your partner in that sense but it still packs a great punch and provides amazing pleasure. The head of the shaft is a bit more exaggerated than a normal penis which adds to the experience. The beads don't stick out far enough to cause any problems during insertion for most women but are easily felt on the G-spot and vaginal opening.

The design of this toy is not discreet at all. It is ten inches long in total and not totally portable unless you're putting it in a suitcase or overnight bag.

The rabbit packs a lot of power and requires 4 AA batteries. I'd suggest rechargeable ones due to the fact that it can be a battery guzzler. The battery pack is accessed by unscrewing the plug at the base of the toy. The battery case that slides out makes battery changing super easy and quick and the plug has a waterproof seal which makes this toy completely waterproof.

The control pad is very easy to use. There is a quick off button which adds to the appeal. Vibration and rotation each have different control buttons so you can easily change one or the other. Both have a simple + and - button that are easy to find just by touch.

This toy is a very noisy one when set to high. Even the lightest vibration and rotation are audible under a blanket which I think is the only thing that takes away from the appeal for me.

I would suggest giving this toy a bath before and after use because it is prone to picking up lint and dust. After use, remember to remove the batteries to avoid corrosion and prolong its life. It is compatible with silicone and water based lubes and is condom friendly.
