Judging By The Box

Simple, cute, and not too strong, the Marvel makes a great introduction to dual, or "rabbit", style vibrators. In girl-friendly pink and purple, this would make a great toy for anyone looking to try out a dual vibrator, without having to weed out the giant monster shafts and clit-burning motors.

I liked this toy as soon as I saw the box. I know you can't judge a book by it's cover, but when it comes to sex toys, a cool box means a happy me. If a company takes the time to put its toy in a unique, interesting, and - in this case - sturdy container, it must have a fair level of pride in what it's making. Plus, I'm just a sucker for anything pretty.

Evolved's new Marvel is cute, sleek, and comes in a pretty tin container with nifty clasps on the side that gave me a little tickle of aesthetic delight. Lots of details and descriptions on the outside, and an odd - but not unpleasant - foamy, plastic-y, grape-y smell on the inside.

The toy itself is rather small. The long, smooth shaft is fairly thin, and is the perfect size for a beginner or someone who likes a lighter penetration. On that note, however, make sure to use a compatible lubricant (silicone or water) because the jelly like TPR material it's made of does not work well with dryness. It's got that sort of thick, rubbery texture that some jelly toys have. It's not a bad thing, at all, but it means that no lube will likely lead no penetration.

Marvel has two bullets, one in the curved tip and one in the rabbit head. It's not really shaped like a rabbit, like so many are, it's just a smooth nub protruding upwards to reach the clitoris. They're not too strong but the shaft sensations are pretty nice. The curve of the tip goes downwards, which I thought was odd, being that the G-Spot is upwards, but, as I said, it's nice.

A slight downside is that while both areas taper off into a point (good for concentrating vibrations), they are very very soft and squishy, and I've fount that slightly more firmer points help the sensations hit a certain spot a little bitter.

There are three speeds, controlled by a little button on the bottom of the satiny plastic base. Unfortunately, they're easy to click accidentally, but it shouldn't be an issue too often.

They can hype all they want about "3-speed motors" and a "mind altering experiences", but what this thing needs is a bigger battery. It runs on two triple As, and I'm pretty sure doubles would give it the extra punch of vibrations it needs. The extra girth needed to fit them wouldn't be unwelcome either. I've seen this with other Evolved products, and I do hope it'll change eventually.

I've had no problems with cleaning, which is an awesomely simple spritz and wipe with a toy cleaner. There are no weird curves, corners, or holes to catch gunk. The outside does get a little cloudy, which I've noticed many of similar material do, but so far that's gone away with a quick cleaning before use.
Experience
Even though this toy only brought me to orgasm once, I still very much like it. It's pretty, simple, and comes in an awesome box. I like my toys super strong, but even though this one isn't, it's still a good product.

Thanks for your review, you've covered all the bases well! Personally, I like push buttons controls better because those twist dials are always tough to work with slippery hands. The shape of this toy looks divine!

I really think it would be great for women who have partners who arent very open to sex toys, it might be less intimidating to them to see this than a big spinning thing with fashing lights and pulsing like crazy. Great review.

I liked the look of this because I like just having bullets against my clit (as opposed to ears and things) but it's too bad about the power.

It's certainly a cute little toy, and a lot less intimidating than a lot of rabbits are.

I just received my Marvel in the mail. When I press the button on the bottom, it does not change vibration speed or turn the toy off. I have to unscrew the bottom to turn it off. Am I missing how to properly operate this toy or did I get a broken product?

Thanks for the review! I really want to try this one but I'm a little hesitant. I bought a rabbit once and it didn't reach my clit at all. So I don't know if this would work... but I love it so much I might just get it and try it anyway.
