Kiwi - Not as good as the fruit

The Kiwi is a cute, unique clitoral vibrator that has a hard to resist LED light up tip. The soft silicone is designed to vibrate against your clitoris. The vibrations are very, very light, so those who require minimal vibrations and no pressure should enjoy this. The fact that it's waterproof means fun in the shower can also be had and clean up is a breeze.

Use

The Kiwi is a uniquely shaped and marketed clitoral vibrator. It's small, waterproof, and quite cute. It has an indentation on the bottom so you can leave it sitting out, a little piece of naughty art.

The Kiwi's tip is a very soft, flexible silicone. Because of the fact it is so pliable, those who need a lot of pressure should look elsewhere. The vibrations start in the bulb part of the toy and the silicone transfers some of those vibrations to the tip. The neatest part about this toy is the fact that in the tip there is an LED light. Mine is a purple/pink that changes based on the toy's current setting.

Because the Kiwi is bulbous in shape, it works better during intercourse when not used in the missionary position. The Kiwi is an ideal solo toy because of the fact it is quiet.

Material / Texture

Upon opening the Kiwi's package I was taken aback by a very strong chemical smell. Sadly, the smell does originate from the vibrator itself and not the packaging. Even after a few washes, the smell lingers. The toy has a white base and the silicone itself has a yellow tint. The tip is silicone which tugs nicely against the skin while the vibrations are pleasurable. The base of the toy is smooth ABS plastic. Use caution if you take this in the shower, as the base can be slippery to hold!

Cleaning is a breeze with some soap and warm water as this toy is waterproof.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the toy is easy to hold and the tip snuggles nicely against the clit. The toy is easy to travel with as it requires 2-AAA batteries that can be removed. It is relatively quiet and can be easily muffled under blankets. The biggest tell tale give away would be the glowing LED tip. Because of the unique shape it doesn't immediately scream "I'm a vibrator!!".

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations don't transfer as well to the tip as one would hope, but the base does provide a steady, moderately strong vibration. There are a total of 10 vibration settings and then the LED light corresponds to these settings. The toy is controlled by two easy to press buttons. Up and Down scrolls through the various settings. It easily turns off by holding either the top or bottom button for 2 seconds.

The toy twists apart and the compression of an O-ring is what makes this waterproof. I'm always wary of how things hold up under water so I have only taken this in the shower with successful results. The only thing, like mentioned before, is that it is a bit slippery when wet.

Care and Maintenance

This toy can be used with water based lubricants if needed. Storage can be done in the included box or by placing it in some sort of concealed container as silicone materials should not touch one another.

Packaging

The toy is packaged in a modern, feminine lime green and black box. It is nestled in a bed of ivory colored satin. The instructions are a simple piece of folded up paper that don't match the classiness of the box. It makes the claims of being "100% non-allergenic" & my least favorite "For novelty use only".

Experience

I was so excited to try this toy. Sadly, I was very underwhelmed as the vibration transfer to the tip is very minimal.

I'm in strong pressure for my clit vibes, but this one looked fun to use at least for the different sensations. Too bad about the smell though.

Wow this looks so cute.... Thanks for your review, especially about the lack of vibration transfer! I guess they did a great job with the design but not so much the function.

@Lauren: With the skin on?? Oh my, I just imagine a fuzzy-faced mess with that.
