L’Amour Thumper - rabbit vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Lovelies

The Thumper has become one of my favorite toys. It does all it says it can do, which I thought would be a bit difficult to achieve with a rabbit style vibrator. It is designed to stimulate both your g-spot and clitoris at once. This toy would work well for beginners who wish to try their first rabbit, or even experienced toy users. Either way I'm sure you wouldn't be let down.

However, on the down side, I personally find the rotation to be a bit weak unless it's on its highest setting. The little rabbit shaped clitoris attachment packs a very mean punch in my opinion, though. And, one of the best features is it's 7 functions of vibration. I also find it pretty fun that these vibrations can be felt throughout the toy; in the head and shaft (though it's not concentrated there of course), it makes for a lovely experience.

Even with this toy cranked up to its highest settings (yes, vibration and rotation going at once) it is still so quiet. I was shocked at how quiet it was! If there is someone in the room with you, or outside the door they will probably be able to hear. However, under a blanket, in the shower, or with a TV on (door closed) it'll be your little secret so long as you are just as you stay quiet.

The Thumper is a cute purple toy. When you first receive it and open it up, you'll be delighted to know there's no horrible stench or strange taste to it like you can sometimes have with other toys I.E. cyberskin material toys.

The head, shaft, and little rabbit clitoral stimulator of this toy is made out of a lovely, smooth silicone. Hooray body-safe material! The base, where the LED lit controls are located is made out of a hard ABS plastic. The toy has a bit of give to it, however I wouldn't suggest actively trying to push that limit though; as it has a motor in the shaft for the rotation. But, if you like jiggle it around a bit like I tend to, it should be fine, but of course -exercise caution.

From it's appearance, you can tell the Thumper has some texture to it all along the head and shaft (and the base of course, if you count that). However, when inserted and during use you can't really feel that texture. There is a small and hardly noticeable seem along the back of the shaft and up the middle of the little rabbit clitoral attachment, though it is far from being felt while in use, and in my opinion isn't really worth another thought.

When I first got this little Cal Exotics toy I was slightly worried about the clitoral attachment either not reaching my clit or it being less powerful than I'd have hoped. But, alas! I was wrong. The bunny ears cradle my clit oh so wonderfully. And, yes I said cradle - one ear to each side in most instances in my case. And, oh the power this little guy has! I was not expecting such strong vibrations. I was pleasantly proved wrong! I'm a gal who loves vibrations, and lots of 'em. But, I found myself using the lowest steady vibration or the 2nd level of vibration. And of course the patterns are so fun and tantalizing to get you warmed up, they're just as incredible.

This fun little toy's head is shaped to stimulate your g-spot with a slight curvature at the top -nothing too severe. It does a pretty decent job in this aspect, but it did not always "hit the right spot." Also, I find that the last and highest level of rotation is best for me, as the others are a bit on the weaker side. The shaft gets ever so slightly more thick in the middle, which I found to be lovely for a bit more stimulation. I also found that if I "squeezed" as one would do for kegels, the rotation and g-spot stimulation were quite lovely.

The entire toy is about 9 1/2" from top to bottom with about 5" of those being insertable. It has a circumference of 4 1/4" and a diameter of 1 1/4" and runs on 3 AAA batteries. It's only a very small shame that it doesn't run on AA batteries but hey, no biggie.

I absolutely love the size and shape of this toy. However, I have to keep in mind that I am a fairly petite woman and that toys fit differently in me than they would in other women, as we are all uniquely shaped. The size of the toy doesn't appear very intimidating and I found it to be a nice size for me. The only thing that bothers me about its design? You cant stand it upright! It's mildly bothersome after I wash it off and wish to stand it upright to air-dry since the silicone material tends to really collect dust and lint. But, that's a very minor con in a sea of pros for this toy.

I love the LED lit controls. It makes things interesting and a bit more helpful when you're in the dark either by yourself or having a partner control the settings. However, when lit up you can't see some of the markings on each button, which takes away from its helpfulness, though it's still pretty at least. The top button has two arrows making a circle to depict the rotation function of the toy. It has three levels of said rotation. The first being the weakest, the second moderate, and the third being the highest. The next button down has a little squiggle/zig-zag line to depict the vibration function of the toy. It has 7 oh-so-fun different types of vibration. You can scroll through each of the 7 different vibration styles and once at the end it does not vibrate until you hit the button once more to start the low level steady vibration. And, lastly the power power button. You must first hit the button to even turn it on at all, and even if the rotation and vibrations are not going, the toy can still be ON - so you gotta hit that to turn it completely off as well. And, if someone walks in unexpectedly you can quickly hit the "kill-switch" which I'm a big fan of. I also noticed that if your batteries are low on juice and you turn the rotation function on along with the vibration function, the vibrations get significantly less powerful and if you "squeeze" or angle the toy a certain way you can completely turn the entire thing off. But, most battery operated toys do the same thing when their batteries are low.

The vibration patterns are as follows: 3 steady vibrations that start low and end high, a pulsing pattern, then an escalating pattern, then a faster pulsing, and finally 3 short pulses followed by one long.

I also love that this toy is waterproof. It has a little o-ring in place under the battery cap, and as long as you ensure that cap is firmly and correctly in its place it is 100% waterproof. I have had many a fun shower with this love bunny.

This is a very easy toy to care for. Since it is made of silicone and is waterproof you can clean this toy many different ways. You can wash it with a mild soap and water, toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution. If you share this toy with a partner it is recommended that you wash it very well.

If you like to use lube with your toys, it is best to use a water-based one with this toy in particular. Silicone toy + silicone lube = NO-NO. Using a silicone based lube may permanently damage your toy, which should be avoided especially with such a lovely product as the Thumper.

I recommend storing this toy in something plastic or cardboard...not so much in fabric as this toy really is a lint magnet. But, if the pouch you store it in doesn't come off on the toy or you simply don't mind washing it before-hand then go for it!

The package the Thumper came in is a clear plastic with a light swirly design on it and some product features. It did not come with a storage pouch or instructions, however it's easy to figure out on your own. And, if you wanted you could use the box as means for storage, but I feel like there are much better things to store a toy in other than the box this toy came in.
