L’Amour Tripler - g-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by PassionQT

L'Amour "Tripler" by California Exotic Novelties renewed my waning faith in dual-action, rabbit-style vibrators. Yes, I thought it was THAT good! I have no doubt this one will hold up quite well too, as it is very well-made in comparison to some of the recent, mediocre counterparts I've tested out.

I'd recommend this particular model to any gal, novice or advanced, who is looking for something not too thick nor too short and with just enough power options to satisfy a healthy sexual appetite. Use it alone or with a partner, but by golly, just use it often! It's designed for triple action pleasure: clitoral, thrusting, and some G-spot stimulation.

PREMIUM SILICONE!

The main shaft is made of 100% odorless and tasteless silicone, with an almost undetectable seam dissecting it lengthwise. It's smooth all over with no textured designs whatsoever. Very simple, sleek, but EXTREMELY effective! There's a decent amount of drag, which will require the user to employ a decent quantity of a water-based lubricant. It's non-porous surface will be able to withstand sharing, however you will probably want to selfishly keep this one to yourself, but you can easily disinfect it or put a standard condom over the shaft in the event you do share.

It's pretty firm to the touch, and I was able to manually palpate the inner workings underneath the silicone, but luckily none of which were felt when using the toy. Although it does rotate, it's not meant to be maneuvered so that the arc can be made wider, so don't try to bend the shaft. The clitoral ticklers are firm, but flexible.

LOOKING GOOD

By my measurements, it's just shy of 9-1/2 inches long including the plastic handle, with about 5-1/4 inches of that insertable. The diameter and circumference should not be a challenge for anyone, 1-1/4" and 4-1/4", respectively.

The clitoral attachment is beautifully designed, and I think what differentiates it from others that I have tried is that it applies firm pressure without moving around too much, and I think that has a lot to do with the quality of the silicone. There are three ticklers protruding from the head of the clitoral stimulator, two longer ones that look like ears to tease the sides of the clitoris, and one shorter one below those to hit it right dead and center. The bullet beneath the silicone feels like a mini-bullet, which I've found to be the most powerful of its kind. That is the only vibrating motor in the toy, but because of its intensity, the vibrations do travel up the shaft some.

The shaft has a more of a round, blunt tip with a flat pad that makes this toy comfortable to use for deep penetration or to gently stimulate over the G-spot.

READY, SET, GO!

Three-AAA batteries are needed to power the toy and fit in a removable battery tray, which in turn easily slides in to the base of the handle. It is sealed with a screw on cap that has a slightly protruding tab that you grasp between the thumb and pointer finger. A clear rubber gasket protects the batteries from water, thereby making the toy water-safe.

The control panel is comprised of three flush, pressure sensitive buttons on a white panel, which is mounted on the pink plastic handle. After pressing the power button, a blue backlight comes on to illuminate the buttons so it's easy to use this toy in the dark. The middle button cycles the clitoral stimulator through 7 sequences of vibration: 1-3) low, medium, or high 4) fast constant thumping 5) repeated low to high tapping 6) I couldn't really tell much of a difference between this one and #2. 7) strong tapping like: "short-short-short-long" that repeats itself.

The very top control button activates the shallow twisting motion in upper third of the tip, cycling from low to high.

Noise-wise, I found it to be fairly quiet, probably due to the high frequency of the vibrations and its well-made structure. Even with both functions activated, I could hear it very faintly under my comforter.

TENDER LOVING CARE FOR L'AMOUR

Use only water-based lubricants with this type of silicone. Be careful to keep it separate from other toys. It will attract some lint, but with a little spritz of a toy cleaner or a quick rinse with water, it will wash right off. Anti-bacterial soap and warm water work best to clean it. You can safely disinfect the shaft with a 10% bleach solution. Although it is waterproof, I wouldn't recommend throwing this one in boiling water or a dishwasher as you would a solid silicone dildo because of the other plastic components. Investing in a discreet toy pouch such as this one will keep it safe from prying eyes.

Even though I found the slightly protruding tab on the battery cap to be a little bothersome when I was holding and thrusting the toy (it rubbed on the palm of my hand), it wasn't worth taking off an entire star's worth on my overall rating of this SPECTACULAR toy! I can't wait to try its siblings, "Flutter" and "Thumper". The L'Amour "Tripler" was so effective for me that I came under 2 minutes, starting off completely unaroused no less!

I still like this toy, but I haven't used it much because it is a bit on the narrow side and a wee bit longer than I prefer. I'm not giving it up though and keep it safely tucked away in satin-lined storage pouch.
