Lavishing LOVE!

I found the Lavish to be very, very pleasing. While it hasn't quite been what I would call a "perfect G-Spot toy," I certainly would call it a "fantastic vibrator." It's waterproof, tasteless, scentless, very easy to clean and use and feels incredibly good (once you've figured out how to use it). This is a wonderful choice for those moderately to very experienced with toys.

Use

The Duo Obsessions Lavish is designed to perform as a G-Spot stimulator. And stimulate it does indeed! When used internally or externally, this vibrator will really get one buzzing. It provides powerful and feverish vibration to the clitoris, labia, vulva, nipples, G-spot and beyond! The vibrations are very powerful and can be felt with ease, no matter where the toy is placed. Have no doubt - for those who enjoy strong clitoral stimulation, this lovely toy can do the job right.

Since the Lavish is waterproof, it can be used in the shower, tub, bed, floor or kitchen sink. Really, the possibilities are seemingly endless. Because it is a very firm toy with no give, it is advisable to play with this toy solo before introducing it in partnered play. It is always a good idea to get to know how these firm toys work best with your own anatomy - then you can give your partner a bit of a "driving lesson" afterward.

While beginners would undoubtedly love the velvety coating and powerful motors in the Lavish, it may prove to be too firm. More advanced toy users will probably have more fun with it. Material / Texture

The silky texture of the plastic casing adds a wonderful velvety sensation to the otherwise give-less, 1.5" wide, 7.5" long shaft. That's right - nada, zip, zero give. Depending on your tastes, this could be a wonderful or a horrible thing, so check the dimensions carefully. There is no question, though, this toy will provide VERY firm thrusts to the G-Spot!

With a few drops of lubricant, this toy becomes ultra smooth and sleek, allowing the user to enjoy the sensations of vibration and thrusting without the distraction of ridges and nubs and swirly things. Beginners and more experienced toy users alike can appreciate the scentless, tasteless, smooth ride the Lavish provides, however the density of this toy might possibly be a little off putting to newbies.

Design / Shape / Size

The Duo Obsessions Lavish is clearly designed for G-Spot play, evident in the curved tip. The tip itself if not that wide and is very easily inserted. However the curve portion may pose as a challenge, depending on individual body alignment and structure. It seems the idea is the Lavish sort of hooks behind the pelvic bone to provide very strong stimulation to the G-Spot.

Because of its very dense structure and 1.5" wide shaft, this toy could certainly feel too large for users who prefer a more average size. Yet, it is doubtful that its thickness would make Size Queens squeal in delight. This toy provides a very full feeling for those who enjoy average to modest sized members.

The appearance of the Lavish is quite pleasant and welcoming. Although it can pass as little else than a vibrator, it certainly has a look of sophistication and finesse. Not small enough to carry around in a wristlet, but it can certainly fit in a purse for on the go pleasure!

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are three buttons at the base which light up in a pretty blue color when the power is activated: 1. Power 2. Vibration Mode 3. Motor Mode This is a wonderful feature as one can always be sure whether or not the power is on. While one may forget which buttons powers the vibrations and which powers the motors, the power button is obvious and would be hard to accidentally deactivate.

The vibration settings are low, medium and high. The intensity is quite powerful and easily felt throughout the body, even on the low setting. The motor mode activates the single or double motor action. There is a motor in the tip and one in the middle of the shaft, ensuring that your G-Spot and everything around it gets a very thorough rub down.

It is not a super quiet toy, it could possibly be heard through a thin wall or door, but not while under the covers or while submerged in water. Yes, this beauty is in fact waterproof!

Care and Maintenance

The Lavish can be easily cleaned with mild soap and water or toy cleaner. The only mildly annoying part of clean up is that the little space between the metal ring and shaft can sometimes trap debris, but this can easily be remedied with an extended soak in a bowl of water.

Always store your toys in a dry area. To keep them clean and safe, it is recommended to store in individual bags so that other toys don't nestle up to each other and make a mess of things.

This toy is compatible with all lubricants.

The metal tin which the Duo Obsessions Lavish arrives in is incredibly feminine and super pretty. Perfect for storing and will hold up for many years to come. Evolved makes wonderful and functional tins which also make them ideal for sexy gifts.

Experience

While I can see some people having a difficult time with this toy because of its firmness and somewhat thick size, I have been incredibly pleased (over and over) with its performance. I love the way it feels once it is hooked inside of me. The vibrations are plenty strong for me and I can feel them all over my pelvic area when the Lavish is turned on. I personally cannot tell between the single and double motor function, probably because the vibrations are, to me, very powerful. I rarely turn the vibration up past the low setting unless I am looking to finish extremely quickly.

For G-Spot play I find this toy does a decent job, but haven't yet had any squirting sessions with it, and I am a regular squirter. It could be that the vibrations are so strong, they are getting to my clit faster than my G-Spot, though.

Overall, the texture is wonderful and the design works really well with my bodies anatomy and I would definitely recommend it for those looking for a good general vibrator.

Newme, I just read your review and I found it funny that we both used "hook" in our reviews. I was thinking that maybe my Lavish is mildly defective as it seems much louder than yours and I really only notice the low, med and high speeds. The motor settings seem to have absolutely no change at all for me, so really, it's just the 3 settings for me.
