Fashion Meets Functionality
The biggest WOW factor when it comes to this vibrator is the motor. The vibrations are strong and deep, and while the highest setting may be too high for incredibly sensitive users, with a few pushes of the minus and plus buttons, you can pick the perfect power setting.Published: December 25, 2007
The Elise is more than just a vibrator; it’s a pleasure object. Designed by the sensational Swedish company, LELO, they managed to couple functionality with fashion. I’m not really a self-proclaimed sex toy snob, but I believe the higher the cost the better the product, and that theory rings so true when it comes to the Elise.
The easy to hold medium sized vibrator was a pristine, modern, white silicone. There weren’t any obtrusive buttons or knobs but a fairly easy to use push button pad. I will admit, I ended up hitting the plus and minus buttons a few times when I first used it because it took a little time to figure out what I was doing. Thankfully, LELO included instructions in multiple languages, so by my second use, I was a little more skilled at mastering the art of self-satisfaction.
No matter how much I’ve loved a vibrator in the past, there were always a few things I’d tweak, change, or wish was different; the Elise is different. After using this for a month, I couldn’t find one single fault. For someone new to the world of sex toys, the price at first may seem off putting, but it’s actually perfect. I say that because this is truly something that you will want to keep for life, which guarantees getting your money‘s worth. The shaft contours to my curves; the tip hits the right spot every time, and my hand never gets tired or cramps up- feats only mastered by this vibe!
The fact that it’s rechargeable has led to me using this vibrator instead of little battery wasting bullets or toys when it comes to clitoral stimulation while I have sex with my husband. I always need more than a little clit play in order to orgasm, and this vibrator not only works perfectly during internal play but also external. The smooth Phthalates free silicone feels like silk when you rub this over your erogenous zones, and that along with the strong vibrations make this ideal for not only g-spot and clitoral play but breast, neck, and shoulder stimulation as well.
The biggest WOW factor when it comes to this vibrator is the motor. The vibrations are strong and deep, and while the highest setting may be too high for incredibly sensitive users, with a few pushes of the minus and plus buttons, you can pick the perfect power setting. You’d figure with the strength of the motor it would be loud, but it’s not. I couldn’t believe how whisper quiet the Elise was; this vibrator surpassed even my high standards.
With the Elise, you truly get what you pay for. This vibrator is a work of electronic and sexual art. I have never been happier with a product, and I have never felt as completely and wholly satisfied.

Follow-up commentary
18 months after original review
I love my Elise but when I went to use it the other day, I saw that the once white finish was now stained black. The vibrator absorbed the coloring of my black For Your Nymphomation case. I'm pissed to say the least, because I don't know whether to blame the vibe or the bag. This is really the only issue I've had with this toy in a 2 year span.

Lelo elise vs liv is bigger better?
-
Which one hits it right for you, or which do you think would work best?
I've been wanting to try both. Since i keep thinking bigger is probably better i should get the elise since i have problems finding my gspot. It just seems like it would cover more space, pluse duel motors! But is it more consentrated with the liv?
Has anyone tried both and prefered the liv? Which is on your wishlist this year? -
I have the Elise, but not the Liv. Elise is not huge at all. In fact, it's rather average sized. I can't imagine something much smaller working for me (and I'm no size queen at all). It is quite strong, and I hear significantly stronger than the other Lelos.

Oh well thats good news! I just saw a video Carrie Ann did about the Elise and Iris and she showed the liv and gigi for a moment and the size different looked signifigent. The elise could probably eat the liv! Haha.
I'm glad it's not to big. I made the mistake of getting a bigger toy once, i just couldn't get used to it.
Is the elise one of your favorite toys?

Worth it?

This vibrator is so expensive. Is it worth it?
-
G-spot vibes are one of those things that are "worth it" if they actually work with your anatomy.
If it did, and you preferred smooth to the texture of the Iris, sure, go for it if you have the money.
It's rechargeable. Is that something you want in a toy ? Do you care how loud a toy is ? Do you care enough about aesthetics to pay that much ?
I've never bought a single toy that was $150, but I have a few that were around $100. I don't regret them, I spent a long time researching them before I invested. :)
