Light-Show

If you're in the market for a fun but functional gift for a close friend, the Synchro Vibes can definitely brighten anyone's party. More of a gag gift or a just-because rather than a well thought out bullet purchase, but still powerful and fun to use!

Use

It took a while to talk myself into this toy. Before purchasing the Synchro Vibe, I had only really used your standard bullets, pocket-rocket toys, and a few basic traditional vibrators. So the idea of a completely random and mostly uncontrollable rhythm of vibrations was a bit off-putting. I have to admit, I was lured in mostly by the idea of having synchronized lights on the control box, as well as the contoured shape of the bullet. This is an okay toy to use by yourself, but I feel, with the fun lights and randomized vibrations, this toy would be better for a young couple to play with together. The lights are exceptionally bright in a dark room, to the point where I was often distracted by them and ended up hiding the control box under layers of blankets. The vibrations on the other hand were lovely, and I was not disappointed by the unpredictable changes in vibration. For someone who was previously rather dependent upon a steady, strong vibration to climax, the Synchro Vibe's randomized sequences kept me guessing, longing, and ultimately brought forth a stronger climax than others I've had. It's two main 'speed' settings, moderate and heavy, are a good mix, and the bullet's strange yet useful contoured shape allows you to find just the right amount of pressure and vibration.

Material / Texture

The bullet is made of a strong, hard plastic that transfers vibrations well, and with a bit of lube, slides easily over all surfaces until you find the right spot. This texture also aids in clean-up, though the little grooves can be a bit of a challenge to clean fully if you've let anything dry on the bullet by accident. Glitter adorns the control box, adding to the flashy light-show essence that one gets from watching this toy in use, though it doesn't add anything to the overall function.

Design / Shape / Size

One of the things I loved about this bullet was that the bullet is able to be unplugged from the control box. This is great for storage and travel, as well as in case of an emergency shut off, if you're not lucky enough to have total uninterrupted privacy. The cord is plenty long enough though to prevent most accidental unplugging, and seems like a good length for most situations. The bullet is designed to fit the curves of a woman's most delicate parts, though I found the best use was to lay the bullet on it's side, using one of the ridges as a pressure-point. Though its vibrations can be controlled by simply adjusting the positioning of the bullet, I wouldn't recommend this toy to those who prefer softer vibrations or those just starting out. Still, I can see this as a common gag-gift, since it does light up. There is also a bit of a cliche girl's silhouette on the front of the control unit, which honestly comes off as looking a little tacky to me.

The lights on this baby are bright! They lit up my room at night and I honestly often worried about the light being seen under a closed door or through windows; it's that bright! It also flashes in a random series of colors in time with the rhythm of the vibrations, so epileptics beware.

Functions / Performance / Controls

A main dial on the control unit is your only method of control with this toy. You can set it to a moderate speed and intensity, or a strong/heavy speed. There isn't a lot of difference between the two, but it is worth noting that the lower setting isn't much of a gentle setting, personally. The bullet transfers vibrations well, and I can't really pin-point one spot where the vibrations are strongest or most centered. I did notice a bit more noise from this toy than most of my other rockets, though, as far as bullets go, I find it to be pretty standard on the noise-level. This toy, unfortunately, is not waterproof. A shame, really, as I think the lights would make for an awesome shower show.

Care and Maintenance

This is one of my favourite toys in terms of ease of care. Before cleaning, I always unplug the bullet from the control pack, which hardly ever gets messy, but is made of a hard clear plastic, so it should only need a quick wipe to clean up. The bullet can sometimes take a little extra effort getting into grooves, but otherwise is painless to clean and stores in a small pouch or bag pocket. I always remove the batteries from this toy, because the side dial is easy to get flipped on inside a bag or purse, and no one wants to explain why they have a flashing glittery contraption inside their purse when someone notices the lights glaring from across the room.

Follow-up commentary
It's been quite a while since purchasing the Synchro Vibes, and though we still use it from time to time, I feel that the original appeal of this toy has gone for me. The lights are a bit annoying now, as I find myself usually hiding the control box under a blanket or covering it purposefully with my hands. The seemingly random vibrations are still nice for when I'm feeling a little lazy and just want something more unpredictable without much effort, though I do wish the vibrations were truly random; after enough use, you learn the sequence, and it becomes predictable. Still a good toy, but I don't see it really being a staple in anyone's toybox for long.

Awesome review! I was about to purchase this a while back when I noticed the womans silhoutte and thought the same thing you did "tacky!" I didn't even buy it after that. Lol. That little groove looks nice for kind of placing around the clitoris. Great review!

I've never seen a toy with a light show before. Sounds like it could be fun be equally annoying.
