The Fukuoku power pack, pronounced (Fu-koo-OH-koo) is a finger vibrator by Finger Fitting Products that looks like some type of high tech device pulled out of a futuristic movie. When I first saw it I thought of the robotic hand that Arnold Swartzenager sported in The Terminator or some kind of hand powered weapon like the one from this movie. So what did I do when I first received the Fukuoku and strapped it onto my wrist and fingers? I ran around the house with the vibe on full power, pretending I was shooting laser beams out of my hand and making shooting noises. It went something like this:

Me: *Running with hand outstretched in front of me* "Pew, Pew, BOOM!"

Boyfriend: *Blinks* "What the hell is that on your hand."

Me: "The Fukuoku."

Boyfriend: *looks confused* "The f.u. cuckoo?"

He then proceeded to ask me why I was running around with said sex toy and why on earth I was making shooting noises as I did so. I tried to explain that It looked like a movie prop, but apparently he didn't agree since he blinked at me again, said it was the weirdest looking sex toy he had ever seen and told me he had to go into the office to do work and closed the door behind him. Lies.

What makes the Fukuoku so special you ask? Well, it has the capability to use three separate finger vibes at once. The three vibes each connect to the control panel with a 6" long cord. There are three different ports on the control panel for each of the cords to plug into. The attachments can be plugged into any of the three ports during use. Even though the three finger vibes can be used at once, you also have the option of using two of the attachments, or one of them.

Each finger attachment is made out of plastic with a silicone sleeve. The sleeves used to be made out of rubber, but Finger Fitting Products decided to give the power pack an upgrade. Each sleeve has a smooth back and a rounded front with a textured tip. The user has the option of using the smooth side or the textured side. The top of the attachment can be used for pinpoint stimulation while the rest of the attachment offers a broader area of vibration. The three sleeves each have a different texture. One of the textures looks like a raised bulls-eye, another looks like four vertically stacked lines and the third texture is a series of raised dots. The textures are a nice addition to the stimulation the vibrations give off. You can even use the attachments without the vibrations to just enjoy the texture. The attachments have two rounded plastic pieces that meet to form a ring around your finger. The plastic pieces each have a hinge so that the ring can expand to accommodate fingers of all sizes.

The control panel is oval-ish in design and made of plastic. It has a raised dial in the middle with a little white dot on it and there are line markers around the dial to mark the increase in vibration. A red light turns on when the Fukuoku is in use to signify the power is ON. The back of the power pack houses the battery compartment, which opens up to store three AAA batteries. An elastic wrist band goes through two slots on either side of the battery compartment so that the control panel can be worn on the wrist. The wrist band closes securely with Velcro. Although the wrist band is stretchy, some users may find it a little tight. I like the design of the Fukuoku, because it allows the same flexibility you have when masturbating with your fingers. You also don't have to worry about pulling the cord during use, because the battery pack is on the back of your wrist.

After I played around with the Fukuoku myself I pleaded with my boyfriend to test it out with me. He had a look in his eyes like I was asking to hold some type of electric shocker device to his balls, but I somehow convinced him to let me try it on him. Not only is the Fukuoku great on the clitoris, but it also works well for stimulation around the exterior of the anus and perineum. If used in a close proximity to one another, a couple can use two of the attachments simultaneously. It can even be used to spice up a massage.

The Fukuoku only offers constant buzzy vibrations, however, we were impressed by the range of vibrational intensity. The lowest setting is a barely noticeable hum, while the highest intensity could be considered numbing by some users. The packaging boasts that at it's highest intensity it gives off 25,000 vibes per minute!

One odd thing about the Fukuoku is that the vibration doesn't start until it's turned to moderate intensity. After it's on the dial can be turned back to experience the lower vibrations. On the downside, the attachments can't be controlled individually. On the plus side, there's no loss of power when all the attachments are used at once.

The Fukuoku is pretty discreet up until it's moderate setting. At it's highest setting it'll be heard through the covers but not through a closed door. The more attachments that are used, the louder the toy becomes.

How do I clean this awesome looking gadget, you ask? Well, the silicone sleeves are removable, so they can be clean with soap and warm water, with a bleach solution, thrown in the dishwasher or even boiled. The Fukuoku isn't waterproof, so taking the sleeves off for cleaning is probably your best bet. The vibe came in a standard plastic package and included the three AAA batteries to power the toy.

The Fukuoku should work for any user, because of the adjust-ability of the vibrations and the variety of uses. This is now one of my boyfriends favorite toys to use together, even though he looked at me like I was a loony when I first showed it to him. I admit I still like to act like a geek and run around the house with it, except now I do it when my boyfriend isn't home to judge me.
