Little Dolly sex toy review

G-spot vibrator by Fun Factory

Published: May 30, 2008
useful review
Hello Dolly! Beautifully designed and packing a big punch in a small package, Little Dolly is a great toy for anyone who gets off on good vibrations. Powerful yet discreet, this petite, portable vibe deserves a place in your toy chest.
Pros:
Excellent design, good range of intensity, petite and portable, easily cleaned/sterilized.
Cons:
May be too small for those who prefer penetration for their orgasm.
This toy was definitely designed

I adore Fun Factory toys. They're aesthetically pleasing, well-constructed and do an excellent job getting me (and my partner) off. Patchy Paul II has been a mainstay in my bedside drawer for a couple of years now, so I was excited to try a new vibe from this hot line. I received Little Dolly in blue and proceeded to do my usual testing plan--first round by myself, second round with my partner.

The first thing I noticed about this vibe was that it was smaller than I expected--downright petite compared to Patchy Paul. The silicone was silky smooth and it came with a packet of Fun Factory lube (remember not to use silicone lube with silicone toys). The battery compartment was easy to open, an improvement over my other Fun Factory toy; I soon had the two requisite AAA batteries installed and Little Dolly was ready to go.

The controls on this vibe are located on the silicone shaft, small + and - symbols that let the user dial the speed and intensity of the vibrations up or down with a little bit of pressure. This was my partner's favorite feature of the toy. It's certainly ergonomically friendly and easier to manage in the heat of the moment. We both appreciated the nice range of vibrations, from a slight tickle to full-on, high-speed buzzing. I left it at midrange during my solo session and it got me off in less than two minutes. When playing with my partner, we explored the whole range with both clitoral stimulation and penetration. Being able to change speeds so easily means you can bring your partner (or yourself) to the edge of orgasm, then back off and start slowly again. It's torturous, in a very good way.

Another cool feature of Little Dolly is that her friendly dolphin head is more than just a cute afterthought; the curvature of the nose is intended to stimulate the G-spot. My partner didn't particularly like the "pointy" tip, and I could go either way on it, as I like vibes more for clitoral stimulation than internal. Plus, if you're used to something more sizable inside you, this little thing won't fill you up. However, the petite size is a plus in that it's more portable. You could easily slip this vibe into your purse--or, as I pointed out to my girlfriend, into a pocket in baggy pants. (Hey, why should I have to tote the toys, just because I'm the girl in this relationship?)

All in all, I think this is an excellent toy at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Glad to hear they're making improvements to their battery compartments!  I've had some struggles with them in the past, as well!

I have the Corsar, which is really similiar to the Little Dolly. I love it. The vibrations might not be the strongest, but oh man, silicone! And I personally find the size to be perfect for me.
