The Liv is a great all around vibrator. Its shape makes it good for both nipple stimulation, clitoral play and vaginal insertion. This toy can be used on both men and women.

It is a very quiet vibrator, so you can use it discreetly with someone in the next room. The most intense setting is the only one you can hear it much on. But, considering it's a low hum, I really don't think you could hear it in the next room.





This is also a great vibrator for a man. You can use it for massaging the testicles, perineum, or outer anal play. I do not recommend inserting this vibrator because it does not have a flared base. There is another version of this vibrator called the Billy that is safer for anal insertion (although not completely safe in my opinion).

This vibrator is made of plastic and silicone. The white part is plastic and the insertable portion is silicone. One thing I did not expect out of this was how rigid the vibrator is. I thought the silicone portion would be softer, but it's quite hard, almost like plastic. This doesn't necessarily detract from my opinion of the vibrator, as it means that the vibrations don't get diminished in a soft material.

The silicone is very smooth and well done. It seems like it will hold up well over time with proper care. After a couple of uses, there is no odor to this vibrator. When I first opened it, there was a very slight smell to the silicone. But, after a few washes, it is gone.

Just looking at this vibrator makes me think of quality. It seems very well built and sturdy. I have no problem saying that I think this vibrator will last a very long time.

The design of this vibrator is perfect. It's easy to hold in the hand and has a perfect bend that makes it ideal for holding to the clitoris.

The design also works well for vaginal insertion. This is not a dildo, so do not expect it to be large enough to satisfy all of your insertion urges. It really is more for clitoral and g-spot stimulation. Again, the slight curve makes it perfect to hit your g-spot.

The Liv seems like a very well thought out vibrator. I love everything about the design and could not see any room for improvement.

The vibration of the Liv is amazing. In fact, my wife thought the highest setting was far too much for clitoral stimulation. She seemed to enjoy it best on about half power.

When on the highest setting, if the Liv touched the bed, it seemed to shake the entire bed! I don't have a lot of other vibrators to compare it to, but it seems very strong to me.

The controls seem very well done. They are easy to understand. To turn it on, simply hit the + button. Keep pressing that button to raise the intensity. Hit the - button to lower the speed and turn it off. The up and down arrow change the vibration type.

The Liv has five different functions. Each of the five can be done at any speed, from very low to very high. 1: Steady vibrations 2: Extended interval pulsation (basically turns it on and off very slowly) 3: Intermediate interval pulsation (same thing as #2, but shorter interval) 4: Short interval pulsation (same as #3, but even shorter interval) 5: Wave pulsation (this basically turns the vibrations on and off, but is more of a wave motion. It gradually increases in speed, then gradually turns off)



The Liv has a Lithium ion battery. This is much better than a nickel cadmium, so it should last a long time. The manual recommends charging once per month to keep the battery fresh. It also says in the manual that the battery can last for up for four hours. I have only used it twice, so I can't vouch for this. However, I'm guessing the 4 hours is with it on the lowest setting.

The toy is fairly quiet for the output of vibrations you get. The only time I could see it being a problem for you is if you use it on the highest setting. With this setting, you can definitely hear the vibrator.

I would describe the vibrations of this toy as more of a buzzy sensation as opposed to a deep rumble. This is partly why the higher vibration settings were a bit too much for my wife. The lower speeds are a bit of a deeper vibration, but still fairly "sharp." I like this type of vibrator because I think it provides the best type of vibration for our use.

The Liv comes with a storage bag. I highly encourage you to use the bag as it will keep dust and debris off of the vibrator. I also like to use the bag because I have a bottle of silicone lube in my toy box. Using the bag on this assures that no silicone lube will touch the Liv.

Silicone is very easy to care for. Simply wash the silicone end of the dildo off with warm water and soap. The biggest concern I have here is that you have to be careful when washing not to get the plastic portion wet. I don't think a few drops would be of concern, but if you drop it or something, then you could have a problem.

You can use a water based lube on this toy. But do not use a silicone lube. The instructions say that a silicone lube could permanently make the toy's silicone sticky.

Please note that this vibrator is NOT waterproof. You cannot use it in the shower, tub, hot tub, etc. The main concern for getting water into it is the dial and DC input jack. There is a small rubber plug that goes into it. So, I think a little bit of water splashing on it when washing shouldn't be a big deal.

This vibrator does travel well because you can lock it. To lock it, you simply hold down all four buttons for 5 seconds. To unlock, you do the same. It's very easy to do. In fact, when learning to use it (I didn't read the instructions first!), I accidentally locked it.

Upon opening the box, you can tell that this is no ordinary vibrator. The packaging is very well done and exudes quality. When you open the box, the Liv is sitting there, encased in a plastic enclosure, just screaming to be used! I couldn't wait to put it to work, simply by the way it's presented.





The instructions are well said and are very helpful. That being said, the toy is easy enough to figure out that the instructions aren't all that necessary.

I supposed you could use the box to store the Liv, although it does come with a good quality storage bag that I prefer to use instead.

My wife and I love this toy. We've used it twice now and can't get enough.

During our first use, we were just getting accustomed to the vibration intensity. I started with the vibrator on full intensity, as I ran it up and down her body. I then moved to the inner thighs.
