The Original Remote Control Egg, manufactured by California Exotics is a vibrating egg used for hands free stimulation by inserting into the vagina only. Do not be anal with this egg- it is way too small. It will likely put you into the ER if lost up there. The egg is comprised of 2 pieces, the egg itself, and the remote control. The remote control has full control of the egg with just a light tap of the power button, located on the bottom left side of the remote. When turned on, there is a little blue light which stays continually lit until you switch the power off.


The unique thing about this egg is that it can be remotely controlled by a partner to delight, excite and surprise you, since the remote is not in any way attached to the egg. I was astonished at the distance in which the remote will control the egg. You can be assured that your partner will have complete control of your vibration no matter where the two of you are located in the house. With the help of a friend controlling the remote, I took the egg down the street in the car and drove a good 2 miles away before the egg stopped being controlled by the remote. That includes obstructions such as closed doors, walls, the car, houses, trees etc. The packaging states the egg/remote sports a 7 mile range and has a radio transmitting frequency of 433 MHz, probably without obstruction. The egg comes with a EC-R&TTE certificate, which means it is compliant to radio and telecommunication equipment requirements.
While you probably won't be miles away from your partner during use, it is still a remarkable feat. Of course you can always control your own vibration, but with this feature working as well and as far away as is does, I would definitely recommend partner play with this one. The surprise of when the egg will turn on and off is a great turn on that I think any woman could enjoy.


The egg is 3" long, of which all 3" is insertable, Circumference is 4", Diameter is 1 1/2".
The shape of the egg is not oval, but long and tube like. The retrieval cord comes out of the bottom of the egg, and is 5 1/4" long.
The remote is a rounded triangular shape, with a silver epoxy California Exotic Novelties logo panel on the top. It is 1 1/2" at its widest, and 2 1/2" long. It has a handy looped carrying strap which is 5" long.
The egg has 1 speed, and it is of medium strength, 3 vrooms. It is medium in sound also, at 3 bees, it is not very discreet to be used in public.
There are 3 batteries required to use the egg/remote unit. 2 N size batteries go into the egg by unscrewing the top of the egg, inserting batteries and then re-screwing the top back on tightly. The remote uses 1 12v battery which is inserted by flicking the little battery compartment door, (located on the back) open with your fingernail or any small utensil. Simply insert battery and then carefully line up the 2 little insert tabs on bottom of compartment door into their notches and snap back into place. Always remove batteries from each piece after use to prolong battery life, as well as the toys life.

This Remote controlled Egg is made of hard durable ABS plastic, coated with PU (Polyurethane) cote. This coating makes the egg feel satiny smooth and makes it easy to clean and maintain. This coating also makes the toy non-porous and bacteria resistant. However, it can't be disinfected, so I do not advise sharing this toy unless using a condom. The insertable materials are phthalate and latex free as well as hypo-allergenic. The egg is completely tasteless and odorless.

The egg is totally water proof as long as you have the top tightly and securely closed. It passed the water test and is still going strong. Of course, the remote control is not waterproof, so keep it away from water.

California Exotics recommends using only water soluble lubricants on the egg, as other types will corrode the material. The company also advises that you simply wash with warm water and soap.

The egg/remote comes in a recyclable plastic easy open container. The paper insert contains much information about how to use the toy safely, how to clean, lubricate and insert batteries.
The packaging is ideal to keep your egg/remote stored, it is fairly small. It has the perfect molding to hold the egg, remote, and even has special little places to store your batteries in when not in use, as they were included with the toy.

This egg can also be used to stimulate other sensual parts of the body externally, such as nipples, clitoris, perineum, and outer anus areas.
