The Micro Butterfly is a clitoral vibrator that straps on to your legs and waist making it totally hands free! You can use the Micro Butterfly in many situations. You can use it during foreplay, giving your partner the controls. You can use it during sex to add extra clitoral stimulation and you can use it alone when you want your hands free to play with other toys or rub other areas of your body.

The straps are made of stretchy, almost elastic like, material. There are straps that go on your hips and two that go around your thighs. You can choose which straps to use and the ones you do not want are removable. I only use the straps for my thighs. The actual butterfly is a bullet vibe with a soft squishy jelly coating. The butterfly has ripples for additional stimulation. This can be used for beginners or advanced users!

The straps being somewhat customizable is nice. You can adjust them to fit and remove whichever straps you do not want to use. The actual butterfly is 2" x 2". The straps can be adjusted so that the butterfly hits exactly the right spot. The battery pack and straps makes this a little weird to store because when you are ready to use it you have to untangle the straps and the battery pack. It's relatively easy to conceal and would be fine to travel with.

The actual vibrations come from the bullet vibe placed inside the butterfly shaped jelly coating. The battery pack is attached to the butterfly by a wire. The wire is long enough (25 1/2") to be placed out of the way if you use this during sex but the cord makes it awkward to place at times. The measurements for the battery pack/control pack are 4 1/2" x 1 1/3". It requires 3 AA batteries. It has multiple intensities but no pulsations. The way you turn it on and off is by a little tab that you move up and down. The controls being separate from the actual vibe can be awkward when using it during sex because of the cord but can be useful because you can adjust the intensity without interrupting anything. The micro butterfly is very quiet. It makes a low hum even when on it's highest setting. The micro butterfly is NOT waterproof.

The Micro Butterfly is made of jelly. You can clean jelly products by using warm water and toy cleaner. We cleaned ours with warm water and foam antibacterial soap and it's still in great shape, even 6 years later. You can not share jelly toys unless you put a condom over them and because this isn't a toy you can put a condom on you can't share it. I also don't recommend sharing because the fabric straps are hard to clean and can hold germs. You can use silicone or water based lube. You can use this with a dildo although it can be a little awkward with the cord in the way. The straps can be a pain to get totally clean and you have to really scrub them and they do not unhook from the butterfly itself so they can get gross where the fabric connects.

I love this toy during sex, every other time it's a dud. It's not tight enough against my clit to make me cum unless I push it and rub it, taking away the hands free appeal. If you can cum easily with minimal clitoral stimulation it's great, otherwise I'd just get a regular hand held vibrator. I have never tried this with clothes on but I imagine that would help the vibe to be closer and tighter on your clit.

So we gave it a try and after we inserted the batteries we decided to try it out! I pulled the straps up onto my legs and adjusted them to fit, placing the butterfly exactly where I needed it. We started having sex in the missionary position and it was a little awkward with the cord and my trying to get it in the perfect place. Once we got used to it and got everything readjusted to the right position it was great! I pulled on the straps to get it vibe in the right spot also bringing it closer to me. I was able to cum and have him close to me. I need a lot of vibrations to get off and this vibe along with him pressing against it did it for me. It does need lube because it can be uncomfortable without it.

For a long time we used this toy religiously. I came every time. Eventually we moved, this toy got packed away, and my husband deployed so we forgot it even existed. Recently we found it and decided to use it again.

This time I couldn't get past the awkwardness of it and the vibrations just didn't do it for me, even with fresh batteries and on high speed. It was uncomfortable even with lube.
