The Flexi slim blue wave is a vibrator I'm glad that I own. It can be used to stimulate the clitoris, but I had the most fun when I inserted inside my vagina. The Flexi really came into its own then. The Flexi is ideal for anyone who has never used a vibrator before, or for those who prefer G-spot above clitoral stimulation. It can be used anywhere but it's best for those special occasions away from prying eyes. It has several vibrating modes and all are just a button away at the end of the Flexi. It's so easy to use but, because of its length, cannot be fitted discreetly into a pocket.
The Flexi is made from TPR and has a faint clean smell of plastic, that reminds me of children's swimming arm bands. It feels smooth to the touch and is easily pliable. It's possible to move the material in your hands around the vibrator, and then watch it slowly return back to its correct position. However, it's firm enough to give maximum pleasure.
The Flexi lives up to its name, and is able to bend into a shape that fits your body. The material covering the vibrator allows this with ease. The nodules are small and soft and are also pliable to the touch. Whilst the Flexi is inserted it's not possible to feel the individual nodules, but you can feel the pleasurable effects!
I have to admit to feeling slightly wary of the nodules, but I soon changed my mind after a good session with the Flexi wave!
The design of the Flexi is simple but effective. As I've mentioned before it is movable and you can bend it to fit your own personal needs.
The Flexi is quite long in length, but it's not necessary to use the whole length to achieve maximum pleasure. The smooth rounded tip can be used on the clitoris, which has no nodules, or you can take your time and experiment with the entire length.
The Flexi is waterproof but one thing I noticed whilst using it, was that the covering for the vibrating controls can come off. This will then expose the yellow button beneath. After cleaning around the edges of the covering, and replacing it, I've not been able to remove it since.
The length of the Flexi doesn't make it very discreet, and it's not possible to hide it within pockets of a jacket. However, it can be fitted into an average size handbag. I would say that it was suitable for travel, as it can be hidden quite well in a suitcase. It's also very light in weight.
The vibrating control of the Flexi is situated at the base and can be easily reached by your thumb. It is powered by two 1.5v or 'N' size batteries which, unfortunately, is not one of the most common sizes. However, the Flexi does come with a pack of four batteries included.
The vibrating function has a ten speed program, so there's lots of variety to be had here. As a vibrator, the Flexi is extremely quiet, which means it can be used anywhere without any worries of discovery. As I mentioned before the covering for the control button did come off so I would worry about just how good it is for regular and frequent use.
The Flexi works well in the bath, although my thumb slipped trying to use the control. However, I feel that this could just have been a one-off as I had no problems since then, controlling or gripping the vibrator.
The Flexi is easy to clean, which you can do just by rinsing with water and a mild soap or toy cleaner and allowing it to dry off naturally. However do not attempt to disinfect with boiling water. Condoms must be used if you intend to share your toy, as the material is quite porous although not as porous as Cyberskin.
As I do not possess a special case for storing my toys, I tend to just clean them and then store them in the plastic case that they come in. This keeps them reasonably clean and minimizes the chance of too much dust and hair clinging to them. I do have to make sure I give them a clean before I use them with this method of storage so it's not completely ideal.
