G-spot stimulator - g-spot vibrator by WHK GmbH - review by vanilla&chocolate

The g-spot stimulator is a basic, inexpensive, g-spot vibrator. Having simply used my fingers for g-spot stimulation prior to receiving this toy as part of a kit, I was curious to see what it could do for me. I have used it, as the name might suggest, primarily on my g-spot. Out of sheer curiosity I also tried it on my clit and found that it worked well for pinpoint stimulation. Due to its relatively short length of 5 inches and circumference of 3.5 inches, this toy is suitable for beginners, as I was upon receiving it, and advanced users alike. Since this toy has a primary purpose of g-spot stimulation, the girth does not matter as much, making it work for anyone and everyone. As this toy does not have a flared base, and I would not recommend it for anal use. This toy is waterproof, thanks to a small rubber ring preventing water from making its way to the batteries.

This stimulator is made of plastic, and it has no discernible smell or taste. It is smooth to the touch with no texture, which is beneficial for those who are a bit more sensitive. However, if you require texture for pleasure, this toy is probably not for you. While beginners will most likely appreciate the smooth, uncomplicated texture, advanced users may crave something more. The material earns an 8 on the safety scale, and it is non-porous.

The design is simple, yet with that strategic curve that allows for g-spot stimulation, yet is also conducive to clitoral stimulation. Therefore, this design is versatile, which earns this toy points in my mind. The shape worked well for me during my first foray into g-spot stimulation via a vibrating toy. However, this toy is only 5 inches long with 3 inches of length that is actually available for insertion, and I would have appreciated it to be a bit longer for more leverage in regards to the insertion. With a circumference of 3.5 inches, it is slim and intimidating for beginners. Because of its small size, it is easy to hide, making it discreet and suitable for travel. However, I would remove the batteries because of the twist-able end that controls the vibrations.

The vibrations are located in the head of this stimulator, primarily in the curved part. They are activated by a dial base on the bottom of the toy. The directions in which one must twist the bottom to turn it on and off are clearly marked, with "on," "off," and "open," with an arrow that will point to these various controls as one moves the dial. On many occasions, I have twisted it a bit too vigorously and ended up opening it to reveal the batteries, so only a small twist is required. There is no range in vibration level, but the vibrations themselves are fairly strong. Personally, I found them adequate for g-spot stimulation, but they would only be able to tease me for clitoral use. This toy is fairly loud - if your walls are thin, even if you muffle it with a blanket, it might be able to be heard. Although it is waterproof, I have not yet had the opportunity to use it as such.

Because this toy is smooth, non-porous plastic, it is easy to care for. I wash it with soap and water and store it in a pouch with other toys. This is a straightforward toy that is not high-maintenance, making it perfect for beginners. I have not used it with lube, so I cannot comment on this aspect. As with all toys, it should be used with a condom if one wishes to share it. Because it is plastic, one can use this toy in conjunction with any kind of lube.

The packaging is pretty standard, plastic with a picture of a bikini-clad woman (i.e., not very discreet). I recycled it and did not use it for storage. There were no user instructions included.

After a couple of times using this toy, I noticed that the shiny veneer had begun to flake off, which was slightly disconcerting (as in, where did it go?). For this reason, I have begun to condom this toy whenever I use it.
