The Lucid Dream is a thick, smooth g-spot vibrator that also works well for clitoral stimulation. Can I start out by saying I really love this thing?
Visually, the Lucid Dream #54 is intriguing and pleasant to look at. It is made from TPR silicone that's both soft and vaguely gummy to the touch yet firm enough to maintain its shape and ease of use. It is a translucent pink with a nice curve and rounded nubs that simply beg to be rubbed against wet folds. It's heavy and pleasantly thick.
Right out of the box, I loved it.
The batteries go in easily - no guess work, no directions needed. The remote is simple to understand; two buttons labeled on and off, four little lights labeled on through four. One click turns it on low, makes the first light glow red. Each click to the on button revs it up a notch, sets another light to glowing until you reach number four, the high setting. Each click to the off button takes it down a notch until it turns off.
The lowest setting just rumbles a bit; the highest rumbles a lot. It's not an intense vibration like a pocket rocket but a deep, strong one. The kind that definitely allows you to get off but doesn't rush through it in 8.2 seconds.
Yum.
The head is quite thick and bulbous with it's motor right there at the tip - which can make inserting it difficult for those who don't like a lot of girth. The ridges can also be uncomfortable if the vibrator isn't a good fit in general.
Personally, I liked the thickness and the ribs. My partner is pretty well endowed so my body has adjusted to more girth than this toy gives. I found the curve to be pleasant, making it easy to keep it positioned how I wanted it and to keep it rubbing how I wanted it to. I also liked the nubs. With enough lube they didn't feel hard, just nice.

Experience
I'm not real sure about the ridges on the bottom of the toy. Others have commented on them, as well, and the only thing I can come up with is for a non slip grip. The material gets pretty slippery with lube and I've found the ridges help me keep a grip on it.
Also, I gave it two bees but it's really more like 1.5. It can be heard, especially with external use, but inserted it's very, very quiet.

Just had to say the Lucid Dream #54 is still amongst my favorite vibrators. I've had this thing for months, reach for it time and again, and it never fails to deliver for me. It truly is wonderful for a long, slow build up and an intense release. Still quiet as well, unlike some vibrators that get louder with age.
