Lucid Dream no. 5: Can't play rough with this egg...It might crack.

This product may be worth the small price-tag if you don't like strong vibrations. It can be used when other toys are recharging or if you find yourself in a pinch; be careful with the cord though, it's easily broken. Some may enjoy how gentle it can be while others may see that as it's biggest flaw. It all depends what you like. For me it was a letdown, but I like my toys like I like my men: strong, sexy, and powerful!

Use

This egg shaped vibe is ideal for clitoral or anal stimulation (NOT anal/vaginal insertion unless you want to fish it out when the cord breaks). It can be used solo and with a partner. If you are a beginner, need minimal stimulation, or are ultra-sensitive this might be a good choice as it tones down vibrations. For me, it just wasn't strong enough to get the job done without ending up with an exhausted hand from gripping.

Material / Texture

This vibe is made of Jelly, when it came out of the package I did notice a plastic-y smell, sort of like when you unfold a brand new shower curtain... but it faded over time. I did notice some stickiness and had to wash it right away. It's always collecting lint so a clean storage bag is necessary. The texture really isn't anything too special; the ridges are so large that it really dilutes any possible extra sensations. One drawback about the texture is that when lube inevitably migrates onto the toy it is hard to grip and very slippery; my hand got real tired, real fast. I'm also not a big fan of the cord connecting the controller to the vibe since it gets in the way, gets stuck in the wrong places, and ties you down. Unfortunately the cord on mine broke within a month of my husband and I using it, but we tend to be rough with toys.

Design / Shape / Size

In my opinion the shape is the downfall of this little egg; the bullet is covered in a thick layer of jelly which really diffuses the power that is possible with this vibe. The broad tip also makes for a broad area of stimulation and makes the pinpoint stimulation my body needs difficult to find. I found it too big and broad for a powerful clitoral vibe and not big enough to do anything else with. I learned the hard way that the toy doesn't travel well...always take your batteries out folks, your parents/security/younger siblings/kids don't need to hear your little friend buzzing away in you bags...they'll only believe it's your phone for so long.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The electronic control has 4 power options, the first 3 are pretty tame and weak, the last is not much better. The buttons are easy to use, have an indicator light, and can be operated while in the midst of whatever play you are engaged in. The toy is not very noisy; on full power my husband wasn't able to hear it under the covers from across the room, so if you are in college or live somewhere lacking privacy this would be ideal. I didn't test if the toy was waterproof but I would not recommend it.

Care and Maintenance

Since the toy is a porous jelly, one should use a condom with it if planning to share and/or have multiple partners. Make sure the appropriate toy cleaner is used; no alcohol, boiling, or anything else besides soapy water.

Packaging

The packaging this toy came in was pretty typical, clear plastic that is not suitable for storage. I didn't see any elaborate instructions besides how to put the batteries in, you really don't need them though; this baby is self-explanitory...
Follow-up commentary
Well, I know I'm supposed to wait 2 months to write my follow-up review, but since the cord broke, I would say it doesn't matter. I am still not impressed by this product, it is fragile in addition to being lacking in the power department. Your money could be better spent elsewhere. On to the next!

I feel like you were very generous with the star rating on this one. Any toy that broke after a month would not get such a nice rating from me. Either way, good review. Sounds like there are better bullets out there.
