Magic Wand IndeedThis wand is worth every penny, but should be used in moderation. Too much stimulation can cause your lady bits to go numb and if you have recently shaved or have stubble, it can irritate the skin. Otherwise, it's pretty much a guaranteed orgasm - every time.

I received the Magic Wand as a gift and let me tell you, I was intimidated. It seemed to be staring at me halfway across the room after I opened it. Fast forward, increase temperature, decrease clothing, and when my partner asked if I wanted to give the wand a whirl, I nodded. The Wand has been known as the 'Cadillac' of sex toys, so I was excited, yet trying not to get my hopes up. Luckily, I had very little to worry about. My partner asked if he could control it, and with my permission, he turned it on. I almost fled the room. This thing is not quiet, and the vibration settings are: 'intense' and 'is this real life?'. However, I nodded the go-ahead and we proceeded. I recommend going slowly, starting up above the pubic bone and slowly moving your way down. Slowly. Because once you hit the clitoris, it's going to be insanely awesome and if you're not careful, fast. My partner was shocked that it was over before I could even say a word. If you're looking for a toy with a slow build-up, this is not it. Since owning the wand, I've tried to make the wand sessions last a little longer, and I believe the vibrations are too intense for this (unless it's the 2nd, 3rd, etc. orgasm). Overall, it's great and it gets the job done. As a mom, if you can plug in Dora the Explorer, you'll be done before they even consult the map.
The texture at the top of the wand, the vibrating 'head', is a hard rubber bulb. It does feel as if there is a material padding underneath, however it is very thin. While this may not sound very appealing, because of it's wide shape, it's not an issue.
The wand in all it's glory is huge. I can see where a beginner might be intimidated by this and it's loudness. The design of the wand is also a little awkward because it does plug in. Weighing in at just over a pound, it can get a little heavy, particularly if you're looking to go for multiple orgasms.
I have seen attachments for this wand that might make the functionality a little better. With only two vibration settings, you don't get the build-up you might get from a dial or multi-level vibrator. The vibrations themselves radiate through the bulb and not so much on the handle. The wand does heat up a bit, but never uncomfortably so.
This thing isn't small, so storage may be an issue. I've found the best place is a drawer under some clothes. In order to keep the rubber in optimal shape, use a water-based lubricant so as not to cause the material to deteriorate. In terms of cleaning, you do not want this thing to get wet and it's design is not optimal for quickly washing in the sink. The best way is to clean it bulb down so you make sure nothing is leaking down in the mechanisms or controls.
The packaging is perfect size for storage if you choose to store it in the box. It is a sturdy material that would keep over time. It's also a bit humorous seeing someone on the box using it on their shoulder.
