Mama mia, it's a Nea
The Nea is a gorgeous piece of plastic, but for me it did not live up to my expectations. The vibrations are noticeable and pleasurable, but aren't strong enough to get me "there".Published: April 21, 2010
Pros:
Small, discreet size, smooth finish.
Cons:
Weak vibrations.
I was very excited at the prospect of owning a discreet vibrator that wasn't the typical cylinder shape. From the pictures it looked like it was mouse-sized, so when it arrived I was surprised at how tiny it was. But it was slick and smooth to the touch, with a glossy finish and a gorgeous silver flower imprint, so I wasn't about to let the size deter me from trying it out and having a great time.
The Nea, like most LELO toys, doesn't require regular batteries. Instead, it charges and recharges with a standard AC adapter. Bonus: the adapter is streamlined, so it won't hog up 2-3 outlets on your power strip. It's two by three inches, and fits nicely into the included white drawstring pouch.
The Nea is curved so that it fits right into the palm of your hand. It's very easy to cup and line up against the clitoris and vulva, while it's small size allows it to nestle in between the labia for direct, exceptionally pleasurable contact.
Upon getting the Nea I spent a few minutes exclaiming over the smooth plastic finish, and then hooked it up so that my first run with it would be on a full charge. In less than two hours it was ready to go -- and so was I!
Sadly, I was ultimately disappointed with the Nea. While the vibrations are strong, and at its strongest setting the Nea sounds and initially feels impressive, it emits high-pitched, whiny kind of vibrations, which just wasn't enough for me to get off from. I wound up having to use another toy and my hand for some good, old-fashioned stimulation in order to ultimately have an orgasm.
However, I still like the Nea, because while it isn't enough for me to have an orgasm from, it provides enough stimulation to create some pleasurable sensations for my clitoris and surrounding labia. Also, its quiet motor and slick finish make it easy to use in a variety of situations, and just as easy to clean up.

compare with lelo lily
-
is it the same motor? any significant difference in sensation due to different surface texture?
-
Near as I've been able to tell, literally the only difference is that they're coated in different materials. Nea is a smooth shiny plastic while Lily has a more velvety matte silicone covering. The only difference you should be able to feel is the same difference between anything that's plastic vs anything that's coated in silicone or velvet cote.

it´s seens a little different but because they all are different colors but i guess they work the same

Gold plated Nea
-
Anyone else see this?!!?
"Meet the world's most expensive vibrator, a 18 karat gold-plated piece that weighs approximately 5 ounces and is 3 inches long. Made in Sweden by Lelo, it has a suggested retail price of $1500, but can be yours for as little as $999. " -
Pretty, but I just can't imagine spending that much. I mean, when the battery burns out, what do you do with it? I know that, after the one year warranty expires, you can send it back to LELO so that you can get the next item at 50% off; but, at $999, I hardly think that's a good deal any longer (though I totally think the "regular" LELOs in the HOMME and FEMME line ARE a good deal). Especially if this burns out after a year and a half (or, even worse, just one month past the one year warranty).

A little too high end for my budget

Thank you for viewing Nea – vibrator review page!

Does this have any vibration patterns, or are they all steady? It's too bad it's so weak - I like the design of this one.
Thanks for the review
