The Dial A Dream #94 by Doc Johnson is designed to be an insertable vaginal vibrator, with a unique dual headed shape and flexible shaft for G-Spot stimulation.

The vibrations travel the entire length of the shaft so that when inserted, it will provide vibrations to the entire vaginal region. Because of the flexibility of the shaft, after inserted, you can also use the vibration of the shaft to simultaneously stimulate the clitoris and the g-spot.

Just like a traditional vibrator, this toy can be used to stimulate any area of the body, however the flexible shaft may not be able to provide the pressure needed for deep tissue massage.

If inserting in the anus, I would advise caution (and recommend against it). First, be mindful of anal hygiene. I recommend using a toy cover or condom to aid with this. Secondly, after inserting the double head, there is a narrower part on the shaft before it slightly flares outward. I would recommend stopping there because you run the risk of the entire toy going inside your colon, which will probably require a doctor's visit to remove. Always make sure you (or you partner) have a firm grip on the toy while experimenting. Remember, lube and vibrations can be a slippery and dangerous combination!

The packaging indicates that this product is silicone. However, it is more specifically TPR silicone, a silicone based rubber compound. The control and battery compartment at the base is made out of plastic. This product is hypo-allergenic, and free of phthalates.

The smell and taste is a very faint, not unpleasant smell that is similar to most of the other TPR silicone toys I have.

The texture of the TPR silicone is smooth, except for the small raised Doc Johnson logo at the base of the shaft. Without lubrication, it has a very slight tacky feeling, and it seems to attract lint and tiny hairs like magic. Make sure to always clean before and after each use with a mild soap or toy cleaner. Because TPR silicone is still somewhat porous, it is recommended that you either keep this toy all to yourself, or use a toy cover or condom if you decide to share it.

The smooth texture allows this to be a beginner friendly toy, depending on how comfortable you are with the double headed design.

The shape of this item is what makes it unique. Because of its dual headed design, personal preference ultimately determines its enjoyability. The idea of the shape is to allow the user the flexibility of experimenting with which head best stimulates the g-spot by turning it to whichever side works best for the user. However, when the top head is pointed down, it also causes stimulation of the anal nerves. For some, this is desired; for others, it is uncomfortable.

The motor for the vibrator is contained in the head. Where the head meets the shaft, it is completely flexible because, internally, there is only the electrical wire running between the motor and the battery case contained in the shaft.



The length of the entire toy is 8", making the insertable silicone area 7" long. The circumference at its thickest point is 4.5".

With its smooth texture and moderate girth, I would say that this would make a decent beginner's to intermediate's toy. Because of the unique shape of the head and it's potential incompatibility with some, I would advise against purchasing this as your first and only toy.

The vibration speed is controlled by a dial at the base of the toy. It features raised rubberized sections that make it easy to turn, even when your fingers are covered in lube. My toy really only seems to have 2 or 3 discrete speeds. As you turn the dial to low, the vibrations are fairly intense, but lower pitched. When turning it to about the middle of the dial, there is a nearly imperceptible increase in frequency. However, when turned all the way to high, there is a large jump up to the high frequency vibrations. It does seem that the intensity of the vibrations remains constant across all speeds; only the frequency changes.

With the dial on low, the noise emitted is similar to the 80mm vibe included with our 4Us cock ring. At the higher speed, it emits a higher pitched noise that is not much louder, but does seem more noticeable. If you are worried about your roommate hearing it, this is not the vibe for you. However, it is much quieter than a lot of other vibes on the market, and I don't think anyone will be hearing it through any walls.

For this reason, it's great that it's waterproof. It works perfectly well in the shower or bath. Just make sure to screw the battery lid completely shut!

Because it is made mostly of TPR Silicone, cleaning it is super easy. It should be cleaned before and after each use with the warm water and antibacterial toy cleaner or mild soap. The plastic part can be cleaned in the same manner, or if needed, it can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol.

It is recommended to only use water based lube. This toy did not pass my spot test with silicone lube. It's also recommended to store this toy away from other silicone based toys, as they can potentially react and damage each other. I recommend getting a toy case or even a ziplock bag to keep it safe from other toys.



The device uses 2 AAA batteries (not included). I got about an hour of use before it died.

One oversight by the manufacture is the lack of instructions on how to insert the batteries. There is no indicator on the device, or in the instructions or packaging. Through experimentation, I found that as long as one is inserted positive (+) end first, and the other negative (-), then it does not matter the order. Also, it apparently has a voltage protector that prevents damage to the device if inserted the wrong way.

It is recommended to remove the batteries during storage. This will keep the batteries from draining, and also prevent damage from occurring from a leaky battery.

The packaging is made of transparent plastic. I wouldn't recommend using it as a storage box, since it isn't discreet or easy to open and close.

The packaging shows a symbol indicating that you should not throw this toy away. My understanding is that this would indicate that this toy is not made in an eco-friendly manner.
