Rabbit vibrator discontinued
by NMC Ltd

Mediocre vibrator, a little too expensive.

I wouldn't buy this toy again. It wasn't the right shape for my body, and was too loud. The vibrations were so-so. It is relatively easy to clean, but I prefer other materials. Overall, the Beautiful Blue Dolphin was just mediocre, and when there are so many other toys to choose from, why bother?

Use

This vibrator has a traditional rabbit design, except with a dolphin instead of a rabbit for the clitoral attachment. It is meant to stimulate vaginally and clitorally at the same time. That's pretty much the only way to use it comfortably.

I tried inserting the toy anally: the shape was good but the dolphin definitely got in the way. It's also hard to use the toy without getting some sort of clitoral stimulation. The dolphin attachment is very flexible, which I took advantage of while trying to get the dolphin's nose to stimulate my clitoris.

The toy is probably best for female-bodied, solo users. I could see using this toy with a partner, although I personally prefer to have my partners use their own body in addition to a toy, not just a toy.

Material / Texture

This vibrator is made out of PVC, which is not my top choice for toys. It is easily cleaned with soap and water, and since the toy is waterproof, there are no problems there.

There's no real taste or smell to the toy, which is a huge plus.

Texture-wise, the tip of the toy is shaped like a perfect biological cock. The shaft has beads and ribbing, although I couldn't really feel it while I was using it. The dolphin clitoral attachment was kind of weird for me, the nose is a little pointy. It didn't hurt, per se, but it took a little adjustment for me for the toy to hit the right spot.

Design / Shape / Size

This is the first rabbit I've owned. I'm not too happy with the size. The insertable length is about 4 1/4 inches before the dolphin hits you. The circumference of the shaft is also about 4 inches. The shape of the tip is very similar to a (perfect) biological cock. I would have wanted the toy to have a longer insertable length, and to be slightly wider. But then again, I think I have a large vagina... If you're someone who generally likes larger insertables, I wouldn't recommend this toy. It definitely looks bigger in the photo than it is in real life.

The dolphin clitoral attachment did next to nothing for me. I think that it was too short, maybe? Using this thread as a guide, https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-forum/sexual-health/women-s-sexual-health/women-s-measurements/, I measured the distance between my clit and my urethra at about 30mm. The dolphin did not reach my clitoris without some strange maneuvering of the shaft. I think it would be suitable for women who are slightly shorter in the clit-urethra spacing. Adapting to the pointy-ish dolphin nose was difficult for me as well, I prefer a more simple round shape for clitoral vibrators. Maybe this had something to do with the spacing, as well. Also, a dolphin is not usually something that I associate with sexual arousal.

The toy is not discreet. It looks like a penis. It also is probably one of the most recognizable vibrator designs. It's also bright blue. I'd suggest hiding it.

I like that the toy has a flat base, meaning it can stand straight up on end. Good for when it's waiting to be used on the bedside table or whatnot.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The toy has a vibration function centralized in the dolphin clitoral attachment. There is one switch to turn it on, and one to switch from Hi to Lo. These vibrations are strong but louder than I prefer. You cannot feel the vibration from the clitoral attachment in the shaft at all. The shaft DOES transmit vibrations from a bullet I have, which was nice.

The beads in the shaft rotate. Again, one switch to turn on the rotation and one to switch directions. I don't see any difference in the direction which the beads are turning. I think there's a paddle wheel in there, and you can kind of squish and move the beads around. I was able to slow, but not stop, the beads by squeezing my kegels. Again, the beads are much louder than I expected, even inside the vagina. The controls are really simple on both vibration and rotation.

The toy is waterproof, and there were no drawbacks to using it in the water. The battery compartment has two barriers but I would not submerge the toy... maybe I'm paranoid. The toy takes four AAA batteries, and it was a little difficult for me to close the compartment, but once I figured it out it was alright. I've used it a few times and the batteries have held up, so the toy doesn't seem to be too much of a guzzler.

Care and Maintenance

The toy is made out of PVC, and should be cleaned with simple soap and water. Not as easy or dependable as silicone but better than more fleshy things. (It still feels pretty realistic). I clean it after every use, and store it in my toy box with a cotton sleeve that I made. Silicone shouldn't touch other silicone, so I wrap all my plastic toys, no matter if they are silicone or not, in cotton.

Packaging

The toy was packaged in plastic with the toy visible and the name all over it. There was a plastic box and one vibrator shaped rest for the toy. Definitely recyclable but easy to tell that there was a vibrator in there. There were no user's instructions but the toy was easy to figure out without them. I would not use the package again if you don't want anyone to know you bought this toy.

Experience

So, I've never had a rabbit before. I was told that I absolutely had to have one. I expected this to be great, but it just didn't do it for me. The easiest way for me to get off is to use both a vibrator on my clit, and a dildo in my vagina at the same time... so, since the rabbit has both, I kind of expected it would be great. It wasn't, really... I blame this on the toy not being quite as good as it could be. Although, I am used to being able to manipulate both vibrations and thrusting separately, so it may be that rabbits aren't the best thing for me. I'll have to do more research.

It's a shame this didn't work out better for you---but in my experience, a lot of research about your body is necessary before you choose a rabbit (and even with a lot of research, I still chose a bum one my first try.) Great job, though, explaining why it didn't work for you!
