Who knew the vibratory caress of the Michelin Man could be so delightful? Or doubly delightful at that! This little vibe is one of three of Doc Johnson’s White Heat Double Delights: Twin Bullets collection, which comes in Small, Medium, and Large. The Double Delights Small is a petite rabbit-style vibrator that offers simultaneous G- & C-spot stimulation at three different speed levels. Since the shaft is so short, I do not recommended this toy for thrusting or for use without the vibrations. However, the Double Delights Small is most certainly recommended for those who are beginners, petite, have very sensitive clits, and/or have sensitive skin.

This vibe is made of non-toxic, latex-free, and phthalate-free TPR silicone. Because this toy is also hypoallergenic, it is safe for those with sensitive skin, provided it is given the proper care since TPR is somewhat porous (see Care and Maintenance section). Users will appreciate the material not only for its high quality, but for its flexibility as well. The TPR in this toy is fairly soft. The vibe is squishy and its arms easily bend, allowing you to hit all of the right spots without experiencing pain or distorting the toy. The toy is ribbed, but the ribbing is fairly useless (see Experience section). Perhaps to make up for the ineffective ribbing is the fact that this TPR toy is silicone lube safe! Normally, silicone lubes should not be used with silicone toys, as they can distort the material. However, our friends at Doc Johnson assure us that this TPR toy is, indeed, compatible. While the main part of the toy is made of TPR, the base/cap of the vibe is hard plastic.

As an added note, there is a slightly strong smell after first opening the Double Delights Small, but the smell fades with time. There is no noticeable taste.

Once you get over the feeling that your vibe is somehow related to the Michelin Man, the toy is aesthetically pleasurable. Just as its name implies, the White Heat Double Delights Small is white in color, and I’ve noticed that its material also has beautiful yet subtle silvery swirls. (Also, the white color doesn’t stain, ladies! I checked.) At .2 pounds, 5 inches tall, and with only 3 inches of insertable length, this toy truly is a tiny wonder! It’s difficult to pin the toy down to a set dimension of girth because the circumference of the toy depends on the where on the shaft it is measured, as the G-spot arm narrows from base to tip. However, it’s clear that this toy isn’t made to be filling or thick. Instead, its dimensions are great for the petite and/or those with narrow vaginal cavities. It’s also good for travel because of its weight and size.

Both arms of the vibe house a little bullet that provides great dual stimulation. The "twin bullets" are powered by a single motor and are located near the tips of the arms, allowing the vibrations to be strongest where you need them. The insertable arm is delicately curved to help deliver vibrations directly to your G-spot. While the vibrations can be felt throughout both of the arms, they can’t be felt around the base or on the cap. This is helpful, as it allows your grip and control of the toy to be more stable. The vibe’s base consists of a plastic cap which screws on/off to insert batteries. The top of the cap is a dial that controls the speed of the vibrations.

This vibe doesn’t include any buttons or switches, but it instead has a dial that controls the speed of the vibrations. Although the dial doesn’t “click” to fixed rates, the dial smoothly glides through three speeds: a low, a medium, and a high (there are no pulsation patterns for this toy). Turning the dial all the way to the right will put the toy at its highest speed; turning the dial all the way to the left will lower the speed until the toy turns off. The dial is easy to maneuver, but it won’t accidentally turn on or off because of its position (see Experience section). From low to high, the vibrations are loud and only get louder. No matter where you are on the dial, the vibrations will be heard, even through the door. Although inserting the toy will muffle the sound, it’s still audible. As a result, it’s not advisable that you use this, say, in a college dorm with paper-thin walls… like I do (awkward).

The Double Delights Small not only delivers great vibes, it’s waterproof, too. The tightened plastic cap acts as a waterproofing seal that will keep your toy safe when submerged. Bath time is the quietest that this vibe will ever be. I have used this toy both in the shower and the tub, and it performs well. You will not be able to hear the vibrations over the sound of running water. Just take care to fasten the cap tightly—but not too tight (you don’t want to break the plastic cap… see Experience section)!

The short arms easily and perfectly fit my anatomy, but again, while this may be a plus for smaller users, for those who are not as petite, the toy may not fit as well. The flexible TPR allows you to bend the toy to your needs without deforming it. While the design of the arms and the positioning of the bullets are very pleasurable, I’ve noticed that the vibrations dull significantly when pressure is applied. As a result, I don’t recommend this toy for those who need intense vibrations or pressure play. But for those with sensitive clits, this toy will tickle you to an O.

Because this toy is made of TPR, it is slightly porous and easily picks up lint and dirt. Therefore, it is extremely important that you clean your toy before/after each use and keep it in a sterile place when not in use. The original packaging can be used as storage, but it is not discreet (see Packaging section). TPR can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner. Because TPR can’t handle high temperatures, you shouldn’t dish wash or boil this toy. Although using a condom is not required, it will help protect the toy from harboring/transferring harmful bacteria. If you intend on sharing the Double Delights with a partner or using it for anal play, a condom is an absolute must. This toy takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). To preserve the life of the toy, remove the batteries when the vibe is not in use.

Although TPR is a silicone-based rubber compound, this toy is compatible with silicone lube. Oil-based lubes, however, should not be used. To play it safe, reach for a water lube instead.

The White Heat Double Delights packaging is very conspicuous. The package is made of plastic, and the front is see-through and clearly displays the vibrator. The sides and back of the package fade from red to black and are embellished with white swirls. The information about this toy is limited to what’s printed on the box, since there is no booklet provided. The left side of the package has an illustration of the toy and shows exactly where each bullet is located. This same side has the assembly/manufacturer information: the toy is made and packaged in China for Doc Johnson Enterprises. The back of the package says (in 5 different languages) that the toy is a “Waterproof, two bullet vibrator for dual zone stimulation.” The right of the package bears the collection’s name: White Heat.

If you’re a beginner, have sensitive skin, or are a petite person, this toy might be just right for you… so, go ahead and introduce the Michelin Man to your Va-jay! Again, the size/girth of the arms could be problematic for those who don’t have a small build or narrow vaginal cavities. Those looking for a toy with larger reach and more fill should consider trying White Heat Double Delights Medium or Large, both of which are available from EdenFantasys and have great reviews.

As a petite person, I enjoy the Double Delights Small. Its short arms and manageable girth fit my anatomy perfectly. The flexibility of the toy allows me to explore different positions with comfort and ease. For me, the vibes work best when I place the C-spot arm over my clit and gently move it back and forth, letting it tickle me. The G-Spot arm is also great and fits me perfectly, given my small build. I do like using this toy… I just have to make sure that I’m in total privacy or blasting music, since this little vibe makes quite a racket! The smooth glide through the different vibe speeds is great. I’ve found that what works best for me is to hold the base of the toy as I would a (tiny) cup and then use my index finger to navigate through the speeds. Wherever I leave the dial, it stays put. Although I appreciate the plastic cap for its function as a waterproof seal and its easy-to-use speed control, I think that it is definitely possible to fasten the cap *too* tightly. This would cause the plastic cap to break, rendering the toy useless. Also, even though the toy is ribbed, its small girth means that the molded texture really isn’t very functional. Only at the base of the vibe’s shaft is the ribbing barely noticeable (I say barely because this part of the toy is not made for insertion).
