Mighty Mite to the Rescue!

Mega Mite is a great, inexpensive addition to your collection. Whether you are just starting out or already have a selection of toys, you can't go wrong with the Mite. The soft, rubbery balls on the tip add a different stimulation than the other rockets that have metal balls, and the durability is very good. This is a great gift or party favor and is nice to travel with.

Use

The Mega Mite is a great, inexpensive pocket rocket that has some distinctive features. I enjoyed using this for solo sessions and play with my husband. This is a great clitoral and labial stimulator and also works well on the vaginal rim. It was too much for my nipples, but that is only a personal preference. The vibrations are good, but it doesn't seem as strong as the Pocket Rocket.

I recommend the Mite to anyone wanting to target a specific area with stronger vibrations. This would make a great gift for the newlywed or birthday girl and also is a great party favor.

Material / Texture

The Mega Mite is about 3 1/2 inches long and has a diameter of about 5/8 inches. It is made of hard plastic and has soft rubber balls on the tip instead of the usual metal ones that seem standard on the other other pocket style vibrators. There is no odor. This is a great product for everyone from beginning users to advanced users. Advanced users may want the more powerful pocket rocket, however. The soft tips were a bit more grabby on the stimulated area and was a nice sensation.

Design / Shape / Size

The Mega Mite is a standard pocket rocket style vibrator. It has soft balls on the tip which were a nice added stimulus. I missed the cooling effect of the metal balls, however and the vibration wasn't as frenzied. It takes one AA battery that goes in the screw off end and you turn the base for vibration. There is only one setting and it is fairly powerful. This is one of the better made inexpensive rockets. I have used mine for about two months now and usually they only last about a month to six weeks. The Mite is discreet, easy to hide and is relatively quiet. The noise does get louder over time as the engine gets more wear. I do travel with this and am confident using it in a motel room.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The base controls the vibrations and is self explanatory with off, on and open being the three settings. They are written on it and have not faded with use. The vibrations are located in the tip and the soft ball areas grab a bit for a pleasant sensation. I do use water based lube for maximum comfort and longevity in my sessions. I like the waterproofing but have not used it in the tub. I have other products for that play. The Mite is fairly quiet with powerful vibrations, however it does get noisier with use. I have also found that the head gets warm after prolonged usage as well. You will notice that as the engine gets worn out, the battery usage also grows.

Care and Maintenance

The Mega Mite is very easy to care for, and since it is waterproof, you can soak the tip in soapy water, wash it well, rinse and dry it. I also use a toy cleaner for sanitation. I do take extra care and scrub the tip, around the balls, with a soft toothbrush I set aside for toy cleaning. This is easily stored with my other minis and rockets. I usually put them in zip lock bags either together or separately, depending on frequency of use. I use water based lube, however these are fairly compatible with silicone and oil based as well.

Experience

I made a theme basket for a friend of mine's 'over the hill' party. I put a soft towel, some massage oil, a candle, the Mega Mite, and a small bottle of wine in a mini hamper and she loved it! Everyone thought it was for personal massages. It was, just not the kind they were thinking of.

This is still a good overall mini. I like the rubber stimulus but like more power. I recommend these for your toy kit, they are a great accent toy to play with but not your only toy!

Looks like a nice little pocket rocket.

When you say the sound increases with use, do you mean in each session, or as the toy ages? Also, how long did you have the toy before the motor started to wear out (as it appears you said the motor is wearing out.) Also, the average amount of time you use it per session is helpful to have more info on why it wore out.

It would be good to know how long this toy lasts for most users.

The sound increases with age. I use it approximately 1-3 hours per session, about two days per week, and the motor started to wear out about three weeks after purchasing the rocket. My poor toys get used heavily by me and my husband!
