Mini powerhouse

The Bimini Flash, while it is a bit too small to work as a true dual stimulator, still manages to stimulate, arouse and feel incredible. Whether you're using it as intended or as a hand sized clitoral toy, it's strong, with deep, rumble-y vibrations that last a long, long time.

Pros:
Rechargeable, hand sized, not bulky, lovely matte silicone, waterproof
Cons:
Doesn't work as a true dual stimulator

extremely useful review
The Bimini Flash, like the rest of the Click N Charge line from Fun Factory, is an amazingly powerful toy in a miniature package.

At only 5.5" in length - with a mere 3" insertable and a 1.38" diameter - the Flash is no bigger than the average hand but contains a motor that gives it some serious oomph.

It's designed to be a mini dual stimulator and, I'll be frank, it doesn't really work used that way. It's just a bit too small, the clitoral tab not quite enough to reach where you want it to reach. Yet it still manages to feel good, despite not being perfect.

The shaft has a tapered tip and is completely non phallic looking. It's easy to insert - though, because it's a very, very matte silicone, you will want to use a bit of lube to reduce drag against your skin. Once inserted, the way the shaft broadens is quite good for g-spot stimulation, despite it not having a curve. It sort of "humps" a little and that little hump easily presses against the g-spot if you have a shallow-ish one. The clitoral stimulator, while it doesn't reach my clitoris well enough to really provide the stimulation I need to get off, feels really good rumbling against my vulva and the bottom of my clit.

In general, it feels nice, feels arousing, but is not enough to get the job done for me used this way.

The tip, being tapered, provides excellent clitoral stimulation when not inserted and the little flap is small enough that it doesn't get in the way when used in this manner. The whole thing fits in my hand well and allows me to use it as a simple clit vibe without a lot of bulk.

As mentioned before, the motor is strong. Really, really nicely strong for such a small toy with such dense silicone. It starts out at a low rumble when you press and hold the silicone covered plus button. I am AMAZED by the rumbleyness of these vibes at low speeds. Deep, throbby vibrations that travel pretty much thru the entire toy. Continued presses to the plus button raise the level of vibration until it's at its most intense, very strong, more buzzy top speed. I believe there are 8 levels, though it could be only 7. Hard to determine! Another press and hold to the plus button starts patterns, of which there are three very basic ones - a low pulse, medium pulse and fast pulse. Pressing and holding the minus button takes you back to steady vibrations, continued pressing takes you lower in intensity, pressing and holding turns the vibrator off.

All of the vibrations feel excellent internally, very stimulating, and work perfectly externally, too.

All this power comes from the wonderful motors Fun Factory has used in these, which are powered by an internal rechargeable battery. No buying batteries with these babies!

The charging system, which they call "click n charge", allows you to plug one end of the included charger into the wall, the other "sticks" to the toy magnetically. Both toy and charger have small Fun Factory logos that you line up to charge. The magnet makes them snap together and holds the charger to the toy. As it's charging, the charger's logo flashes red, going solid red when it is fully charged. Charging, for me, took a few hours each time I charged the toy and the charge lasts a LONG time. At least 4 hours use, possibly more.

As mentioned, the Flash is silicone and a very matte silicone, at that. Very, very matte. Definitely use some water based lube with this if you don't like a lot of drag against your skin. Keep away from silicone lubes unless you do a patch test first.

The Bimini Flash is completely waterproof and submersible so you can use it in the bath, shower, hot tub, pool, Lake Minnetonka, whatevs. You can also clean it under warm running water with a good liquid soap and not damage it at all.

If you need to sanitize, a ten percent bleach solution sprayed on and allowed to sit for a bit, then rinsed off, will work peachily. I don't recommend boiling or dishwashing as the motor can be damaged by the heat.

Packaging is typical Fun Factory boxes, shades of red, cream and grey and vibrator and charger come in separate boxes.

Overall, this entire line is a huge win in my book. I have three of the four and am utterly captivated by them. They have the strength of the Sinnflut line in a wee little package that gets the job done, every time.

It's fairly quite, to boot, unlikely to be heard under covers, certainly not thru a closed door.
Follow-up commentary
Saying I don't like it anymore is a little harsh. Fact of the matter is, the Flash is an excellent little vibe that is strong, durable and holds a charge forever. I just prefer the Spring and even the Bubbles from this line a bit more.

  • G Spot
    • Users, does this one stimulate the g spot at all?

  • The two Funfactory Bi-minis
    • Bimini flash and Bi-mini ocean both look nice. Has anyone tried both of them and what is your opinion on the two? Does one outperform the other? If so why?
    • I haven't tried the Flash, but I've tried the Ocean, and I like it. The clitoral bump doesn't actually reach my clit, but the vibrations are nice, and the size is on the smaller end, but still good for internal use. I imagine the Flash would be pretty similar, given that they're in the same line of toys.
    • Thank you for your input. They did look very similar and since they were from the same copany I didn't know which one would be better.

  • Chargin Problems?
    • Does anyone else have problems with their Fun Factory rechargeable vibrators recharging? I can never get ,ine to charge! I have to wiggle the cord and mess around with the vibrator for like 20 minutes to get it to charge....anyone else?
    • I don't have a problem with my Bubbles. I smooth out the cord and plug it into the wall socket close to my nightstand, put the toy with the charging end facing the edge of the nightstand and attach the magnetic charger onto the toy, the charger cord is left hanging in midair without any obstacles touching it. Just make sure the FUN word on the charger attaches over the FUN word on the base of your toy at the exact position, the light will come on to show it's charging.

      Hope that helps.
    • Maybe contact Fun factory. It's possible they have some tips or worse case, if you got a dud, maybe they can replace it.
