The Berry Delight by Vibratex is a sweet and discreet little vibrating clitoral egg/covered bullet offering an array of speeds and patterns to make your own ‘berry’ juicy and wet. It can be used to tease the nipples or any other erogenous area, but it is certainly more fun on its intended target and surrounding areas. Bullets are a great addition to any toy box, because they are great to use solo or in conjunction with your favorite vibrator.

Material and Texture

The Berry’s bullet is wrapped in a textured silicone casing, making it the perfect choice for someone who wants a safe and hygienic toy for either vaginal or light anal play. Consider it kind of like selecting an organic berry in the grocery store, it’s better for you! There are no harmful phthalates, no latex, no unpleasant smell or taste, and it’s non-porous. Its surface is covered with a few hundred small, tightly-packed nubs that are firm, yet soft and gentle, and feel great when rubbed vigorously over the clitoris and labia. The rest of the toy is comprised of a wire and a plastic control unit.

Design and Size

For anyone familiar with a corded bullet, the design of the Berry Delight is essentially the same. At one end of a 23-1/2 inch white wire is a palm friendly, ergonomic, hand-held controller. At the other end is a 2-1/4 inch long, 4-inch circumference, and 1-1/2inch diameter bullet motor, encapsulated in a non-removable silicone nubby sleeve. There is a visible seam dissecting the bullet, but it is welded firmly together and will not slip off. It is sleek and modern, making it extremely visually appealing.

Functions and Performance

There are several fun levels of power, each displaying a differently- colored light as you cycle through them. Each is clearly marked in blue on the handle. The functions are:

1. Low vibration
2. Medium vibration
3. High Vibration-nice and strong, but not mind-blowing
4. Surging-pretty strong
5. Pulsating-This one feels nice!
6. Escalating
7. Super Surging-doesn’t feel much different than #4.

The on/off buttons are flush with the surface of the toy, which makes it very difficult to accidentally switch functions or turn it off. Four AAA batteries are inserted in a removable carrier, which prevents loss or improper insertion. The carrier instructs you to line up the black point with the black point on the inside of the unit so there is no question on which way it goes. As for the square, rounded-corner cap, there is a notch on it that must be lined up with the notch on the underside of the control unit in order for it to close properly and tightly.

I tested the unit in both running water and submerged. Both times it still functioned properly, but after submerging it, there were a few water droplets around the gasket portion, however none in the battery compartment. Still, that made me nervous enough not to use it in the bathtub or even in a shower. No matter how waterproof it claims to be, there is just something nerve-wracking about having an exposed wire in a wet environment. It is probably perfectly safe, but I’d rather not risk it.

Noise-wise, it is pretty quiet. Under the covers, with the door closed, you should be able to get away with it.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning is fast and simple, either by washing it with warm soap and water, using an antibacterial toy cleaner, or by carefully dipping just the bullet portion in boiling water for a couple minutes, or even in a 10% bleach solution. Only a water-based lube is recommended for this type of silicone toy.

As for storage, the flimsy plastic box it comes in is small and would work, or you can use a plastic sandwich bag. It is small enough to toss in your purse, or, if you are more adventurous, try hiding it under your skirt while you are in the car during bottleneck, rush-hour traffic. No one will ever suspect why you are smiling!

All-in-all, the Berry Delight is a decent and powerful clitoral vibrator. As with any corded bullet, there is always the question of whether or not the wire could become faulty, but the silicone bullet is meant to last. If you are going to get a bullet, by all means, go for one with a textured sleeve like this one.

I like using my bullets alone or with another toy or two. The more vibrations, the better! It had me cumming in no time and was fun to switch between all the functions. I'm not comfortable inserting any bullet inside any orifice and wouldn't recommend it with this one; because unless you push it out, you are going to end up pulling on the wire, and that could damage it. Use it for surface stimulation only!

This one is still working great and looks as good as new. I use it every couple of weeks because I'm still attached to my Cal Exotics one, but at least I have a reliable back-up when that one dies.
