Rondo - g-spot vibrator by Close2You - review by Ryuson

This toy is sold as a dual stimulator, but personally I find this a bit optimistic. However, don't let this deter you! The curve is wonderful for use internally, and is easy to put light or firm pressure on your G spot. The mail purpose is internal stimulation, but I;ve also found that this toy works wonderfully for external stimulation. The silicone has enough drag to it to make it nice for stimulating erogenous zones, but especially clitorally.

This toy is safe for anal use because of the nice handle and the body safe silicone, but I would still recommend using a condom for safety and ease of cleanup. While the rondo advertises being waterproof, I'd recommend treating it more as only 'splashproof.' It would be fine to use with a partner because it has some give and is not pointed at all, making it very forgiving; it won't bruise you if you end up being a bit rough.

This toy is pretty wide, so I would recommend it more for intermediate to advanced users. It would be wonderful to take on a trip, however it is a bit large and there is no way to lock it to prevent it accidentally getting turned on.

The colored part of this toy is made up of velvety silicone, giving it an air of luxury. While it is not stiff, it has enough give to adjust to different body types but is still firm enough to put pressure on the G spot. The silicone has a bit of drag to it, so lube is needed when you're playing with the Rondo even if you are already warmed up a bit. It had no scent to it when I removed it from the box and hasn't retained one since. I got the navy and have no worries with it staining if you use it on your cycle, but the lavender may eventually stain if you use it repeatedly during 'that time of the month.'

The curly handle is made of a firm, white plastic. This has no give to it at all and allows for easy control of the toy itself. I can fir two finders into the loop uncomfortably, but it feels much nicer to just use one. The plastic is very slick, and also has no scent or taste.

Both of these materials are nonporous, but there is a slight seam in between them. The insertable part of this toy CAN be boiled, but because of delicate motor I wouldn't recommend it. I would personally always use a condom when switching partners or orifices if only to be safe.

This toy is very thick, 4.5 inches around, but it still manages to feel wonderful to me! The nice feel to the silicone and ergonomic shape make this my new favorite. It is a long, S shape that has some small indented ridges along the silicone neck. These add a bit to the feel, but don't make it more or less easy to use. People that enjoy a lot of texture might be disappointed, but if you're looking for something that just gives a bit of a more 'realistic' feel this is great.

This is advertised as a dual stimulator, but there is no way that this will hit any woman's G-spot and clitoris at the same time. Other than that falsehood, this is a wonderful design! The curve makes it easy to find and hit the G spot and gives a firm, more spread out stimulation. It is going to feel just as nice for someone that wants to insert the entire 5.5 inches or just use it for some less intense G-spotting.

I would recommend this, because of the combination of drag and girth, to medium or advanced users. This would not have worked very well at all for me before I had become more accustomed to larger toys.

This is not very easy to hide, if only because of the awkward shape and size. It will not slide unnoticed into a drawer or under a pillow, but I keep mine in a box under my desk. It is, however, easy enough to wrap in a towel and sneak into my communal showers with!

The functions, what else can I say but mmmmmm. This was my first dual motored toy, and I really appreciate the thought put into the second motor! One is located at the tip while the other is located where the silicone meets the plastic. This adds a whole new opportunity for interesting patterns!

There is only one level of vibration in this toy which I would put at around 3 vrooms, but things are kept interesting by the 6 different patterns.
In the first pattern the motor at the tip and the motor at the base hold a steady vibration.

In the third the base motor is off while the tip goes BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ
In the fourth both of the motors go BZ BZ BZ BZ
In the fifth the tip and base motor alternate, making it feel almost like a heartbeat
In the sixth the tip motor vibrates sporadically while the base motor goes BZ BZ BZ BZ BZ

The fifth is by far my favorite, and may be why this is my new favorite! It feels very realistic and I have an easy time imagining that it is something other than a vibrator, if you get my gist.

On the handle are two buttons; one turns it on and off while the other cycles through the patterns. This is nice because if you suddenly hear someone coming, you don't have to cycle down through however many patterns to make everything be quiet! It's something that I've come to really appreciate in a toy!

There has been quite a bit of debate on how noisy this toy is, and I will have to further add to this confusion. With Rondo, some days are noisy days while others are quiet days. The tip motor is not fully enclosed by the silicone, so sometimes I can hear it rattle around. When the motor ISN'T being loose, this is a 1, 1.5 bee toy. When it IS, this is a 3 bee toy. Averaging out, I would give this a 2 bee rating.

I have run my Rondo for about an hour and 15 minutes since I first charged it and it is still going strong! As my first rechargeable toy I am very hapy with the convenience!

My Rondo has proved to be very easy to take care of, especially for being so fun! If I use it in the shower I just wash it off with soap and water and then pat it dry. If I use lube, I like to wipe it down with an antibacterial toy cleaner and then just give it a rinse! You can also wipe the silicone down with a 10% bleach solution if you're nervous about bacteria.

Because the silicone is a bit of a lint magnet, you need to either wipe this down before use or store it in a lint-free environment. I use the storage bag that it came in, which is almost too small but I make it work. I also store it in a dark, cool place where it won't get bumped around too much.

PLEASE don't let your Rondo touch other silicone! Be if your other toys (Rondo and Harmonia can never meet, alas) or simply silicone lube, the material will get messed up! I don't want your $100 toy to melt on you!

The Rondo comes in the same spectacular packaging that all Close2You toys come in! It has a nice, white, sleek exterior that shows the toy and has a smiling couple in the background. It is made of very sturdy cardboard and is the classiest that I have personally gotten It makes you feel like you are getting a very quality product. The back has some basic information and the front opens up to show a window where you can see the actual toy. There are two pull out drawers; the top has the Rondo and the bottom has the extras, the charger, and the instruction manual. When you receive your Rondo you will also receive a second charger if you live in the United States because we have different outlets than your Rondo's home, Germany.

It comes with a very thorough instruction booklet in 10 languages, and tells you everything that you might need to know. It also includes blurbs about their other toys, which leads you back onto Eden increasing the size of your wishlist!

It also comes with a trial of their toy cleaner wipes, water based lube, and a storage pouch made of velvety purple cloth. The two samples are wonderful, and I especially appreciate the travel sized squeeze tube of lube!

The carrying case it a bit of a challenge to tie with the Rondo inside, but at the right angle it is doable! I wish that they would have made it a tiny bit larger so that it wouldn't be such a battle, but I can't complain! It seems to be sturdy and keeps my Close2You toys apart which is important because they're all made of silicone.

I LOVE this toy. While it does not hit my G spot and clitoris at the same time, it has so many other wonderful uses! The moody noise levels are a bit of a turn off, but even in my vibrator is feeling loud it can't be heard over a shower or through a closed door.

My favorite way to use this toy is to insert the tip a tiny bit and then bend the rest up to meet my clitoris. While this doesn't even come close to hitting my G spot the rumbly vibrations feel phenomenal. Be creative with this one, it's got so much untapped potential.

As I said before I really appreciate the dual motors and I think that I may now be spoiled for future toys. The fifth setting where they alternate is amazing, and would be reason enough for me to encourage someone to try out the Rondo.
