More options than a universal remote control. Strong, personal vibe.

Lelo Gigi is a sexy vibe that reminds you why all the crappy things about being woman are worth it. By touching you in places you were not even aware existed!

Use

The Gigi Lelo Vibrator is a G-Spot seeking vibrator. With a flat wide head it also works great as a general clitoral stimulator. Able to stimulate a wide area for those who maybe too sensitive for pin point vibes. For me personally I did not find my G spot and found most of the steady vibrations to be numbing. I wouldn’t recommend deep trusting with this vibe as the shape of the head makes it prone to getting hooked on the pelvic bone and could cause discomfort as well as possible bruising. It is great for shallow thrusting as the head shape gives it a much more interesting feel than most other vibes. The Gigi has a wide range of vibes from pulsating, escalating, straight vibe and roller coaster. Paired with several vibration levels that vary in speed and strength. It could be used as a general body massager. It’s shape and style is elegant rather than phallic or intimidating (to some). It is fairly small and would be great for pinpoint neck and back massage, as well as stimulation over the rest of the body.

I would not recommend this for anything more than external anal stimulation since it doesn’t have an anchor or handle.

Material / Texture

Opening the Gigi I did not smell anything. I really appreciate that in a toy because sticking something inside my body with that “new toy” or “new car” smell can be a complete turn off. It has a insertable length of 4 1/4 inches that is silicone base. The entire toy is phthalate free, hypo allergenic and latex free. Meaning those with allergies will have no worries with this Lelo vibe. The insertable length has a mirco-velvet texture to it. It is a silicone though, making it very smooth and 100% safe. Even with its velvet texture with lube (natural or otherwise) it moves smoothly on the body. All lubes are safe to use with this vibe. The 2-inch handle is a hard plastic with a control pad and a rechargeable port. The handle is not water resistant! It is non porous and I've had no issues with this toy collecting hair or lint. I keep it stored in the black Lelo box which, I think helps.
    • No odor
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The Gigi reminds me of a sports car. It has a sleek appearance that just oozes good taste. It was this that first drew me to the toy. It has a gentle elongated curve that goes from bottom to top and a flat head all this is designed to help find your G spot. It is unfortunate that your G-spot is supposed to be in that slight dip of your pelvic bone because the Gigi is designed to fit there but not designed to easily slide back. It comes in three elegant colors pink (closer to rose), purple (mauve) and turquoise. And the overall size is just about prefect (unless you’re a size queen) for both feeling and storage. I love the control pad! It is very space age looking and lights up! The buttons can be easily accidentally hit during use when you’re distracted. It does lock for travel and storage.

Only thing I found it was a bit short for me. Another half an inch would been much preferred!
    • Discreet look/design
    • Futuristic
    • Whimsical / artistic

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Gigi is very easy to use and control. Perhaps too easy! (As I have accidentally shut it off during use) It has seven different vibration levels in total and five different vibration patterns. It has a plus and minus on the control pad that control the speed of the vibration and an up down arrow head to change the pattern. It goes from constant vibration, to pulse, roller coaster and to ascending. This can be a very strong vibe and very quiet one as well. The Gigi even on highest settings is near silent. It wont be heard under blankets, let alone through a door. I find some of the vibrations to be too strong for myself. The pulsating settings are my favorite. They're strong and rhythmic.

Again the shape and design are to help find the G spot. It didn’t work for me but has for a great number of women. I will keep trying!
    • Discreet sound
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

The Gigi is a non-porous silicone base toy so it can easily washed with a bit of soap and hot water or a ten percent bleach solution. It is not waterproof so this should be done carefully. That silicone head/insertable length are "water resistant" but the plastic handle should be cleaned carefully. Especially around the charging port and control paid. Disinfecting it should never be done with boiling water as it is a mechanical toy and it could harm the inner working parts of it. It doesn't attract lint and hair as far as I can tell. I keep it stored in its black box to keep it safe and clean between uses.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

As always my toy came in the post in a discreet white priority mail box. From “Web Merchants” and no other distinguishing marks. (Thanks EdenFantasys! ) Lelo spoils you with its packaging. The small rectangular box it came in was wrapped in a plastic sleeve. The sleeve had a picture of the toy as well as a run down of it’s features. After removing the sleeve you are left with a very nice black box with the brand name inset in it. Which, you can only see if you study it or move it in light. Inside the box is the toy, the charger, information, guarantees, a white pouch and a hard plastic clam shell that the Gigi rests in. You can either store your Gigi in the box or pouch.

I didn’t see any recycling information but I may have over looked it.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage
    • Very informative

Personal comments

One reason I love the Gigi is it rechargeable! It carries about a two hour charge so I recommend charging it after every use. No more batteries to buy and throw away! Liberation!
    • Loves the enviroment!

Experience

It hasn’t helped me find my G spot yet but I’ve read so many great reviews I am going to keep trying! The Gigi is a wonderful toy and I am looking forward to getting to know it better.

actually though i'm working on my review right now- yes for internal stimulation it was a bit uncomfortable unless i rocked it against my pubic bone. I can only take like 4 max 5 inches inserted and though i was initially drooling over the shape on the tip it felt the same as when you're having sex and your cervix gets bruised- except it wasn't against my cervix. its quite hard and has little give to it though the silicone is quite nice. I used it more on my clit and she seemed to enjoy the vibrations(shrug)

    • How easy is the Gigi- G Spot Vibrators to use during sex?
    • I think it's more of a solo toy. You should look at the We vibes.

I think it works pretty well for this purpose. I use it simultaneously with a dildo all the time. Is it the best for this purpose? I would say you'd be better off using a smaller vibrator such as the Lelo Siri which is another personal favorite of mine during piv sex. Although it is pretty easy to use the Gigi. Works in all positions where your body isn't completely pressed against a surface or your partner's body. You'll need to give a little space in between you and your partner to fit the toy but it still works really well.

  • Lelo Gigi - Using a Condom or Not
    • I have recently bought the Gigi vibrator from LELO.

For my first use, I used a condom to cover the Gigi (the brand I used is Lifestyles Studded). After removing the condom, I noticed that the lubricant, from the inside the condom, left a kind of oily residue on the Gigi. I tried to use my toy cleaner to remove it, but I am slightly worried

I am worried that the lubricant from this condom is not water-based. Now, I have a few questions that I was unable to research answers to.

      1) Was the condom I used water-based?
      2) Have I ruined my new Gigi?
      3) Is it best to use a condom on the Gigi or not?

Any advice/help will be much appreciated.

      - Dr. Manhattan
    • From what I can find via Google, it looks like the lubricant in that condom isn't a silicone lubricant so it should be okay.

Lubricant Ingredients: Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Phenonip, Carbomer

I don't think you're ruined anything. If you're concerned you might want to try to find a different type of condom that leaves less residue. I have no suggestions because almost all condoms irritate me and since I'm fluid bonded with my partner we don't use them.

What would you recommend to clean the Gigi? I currently have a toy cleaner called "Swiss Navy."

Will using soap and water be bad for the Gigi? At least just for the silicone part of the vibrator?

  • is jt worth it
    • Is the product worth the price ????
    • I'm pretty sure we answered a similar set of questions about the pros and cons of expensive vibrators.
    • Quote: Is the product worth the price ????
Absolutely!! I bought mine a couple years ago after (literally) melting my previous one. Between the cost of having to replace my vibrators and the batteries constantly, I went for it and have no regrets!! Gigi is a regular part of our sex life! However, I use it only for cliteral stimulation (which works for me) so I can't speak if you are interested in G-spot usage.
The one drawback is I've found that I tend to hit the speed controls during use. Otherwise, the warranty is great (though i've never had one problem with it), it's easy to keep clean and store, and I LOVE that it's rechargable.
      Enjoy!

    • Quote: I'd like to try a g-spot vib, but i dont know if this should be the one to buy...Any comments?
I highly recommend the Gigi for G-spot play. It's firm enough to stimulate it with the amount of pressure needed, but velvety enough to not be too much. Additionally the vibration settings I found to be ideal for pressing against my G-spot. Just have a towel ready!
    • Quote: I'd like to try a g-spot vib, but i dont know if this should be the one to buy...Any comments?
I would recommend the Gigi for g-spot play. I will point out though that if you have a g-spot that is on the further side in terms of depth in the vagina, or if like me your vaginal canal has a sharp curve to it then you should look for a toy that is longer than the Gigi. I love the Gigi as a clitoral vibrator but based on my anatomy it didn't do much for me as a g-spot stimulator. Take your anatomy into consideration before you buy a toy for g-spot play. If you are like me and think you'll need a more lengthy toy try the G-Spot Pink glass stimulator. I'm currently working on a review for that toy and it is a personal favorite of mine.

  • Charging Gigi in the UK
    • FiredrakeNemmy
So uh, my gf lives across the pond in England and I wanted to get a little something to bring her next I go visit.

She really likes the use of the Gigi vibrator but I'm worried about the charging of the toy, I learned to be wary of such things when I blew out the power to my Wii :X

But anyways, if anyone who has one could kindly take a look at the allowed voltages I would really appreciate it. The voltage info can usually be found on the charger itself ( a bunch of random numbers and such and has that UL logo ) Does it list the Input as 100V-240V or just something around 100V?

      Thanks!

They're good for 100-240V. I charged mine while living abroad just fine.
    • The charger I have with mine has the 100V-240V range.

You might also look at getting a charger specifically for using the Gigi in England.

    • My 22nd birthday is coming up which means birthday monies <3 I'm trying to see if I can orgasm with my gspot but haven't had any luck. I've been close but no beans yet. I'm debating getting this to see if it'll work for me, plus I'm trying to go off birth control, it's made my sex drive completely dissappear after 2 years of being on it, not to mention making me depressed, moody, etc.

Anyway, would this be recommended? Where's the vibration, though? More in the shaft towards the buttons or more at the tip? And is it plenty strong? (I need strong vibrations.)

I'll have to order at a time my dad won't be home, though, and make sure it arrives when he's at work--how embarassing it'd be for me for him to find out I have toys!

  • is the gigi a good starter g-spot vibe?
    • My friend Lee's birthday is coming up and ever since I told her about female ejaculation and what it is and that I can do it, she's been trying to find everything about it and is really interested in a g-spot vibrator, but she doesn't really like the way most vibrators feel with vibrations. To her, they feel like an "Oh, there's something vibrating in my ladyparts but it's doing nothing for me." So, my question is, is the Gigi different in that sense that the vibrations have some "variety" to them and they're not so monotonous? I'd love to get her the Gigi for her birthday and have heard nothing but great things about it.

My Gigi is on its way, so I'm not much help there... Although, whenever I read about female ejaculation the Ella is usually involved.

It doesn't vibrate, but you may want to check it out.

Miss KissThis totally beat me to the punch! If it has to vibrate and you want to be able to use it for clitoral stimulation, Gigi is great. But if you're on a lower budget and only want g-spot stimulation, the Ella is one of this forum's favorite dildos.

  • Best G-spot vibrator. Which one to pick?
    • Rachell25
LELO has presented a couple of very well designed G-spot vibrators, like Gigi, Liv and Elise, lately. Just looking at them makes me feel horny. They all have great features and different vibration modes and they are also rechargeable, so I can safe my money on batteries.
Gigi seems to be the toy of my dreams due to its well pronounced curved tip. I guess that will lead to a better contact with my G-spot.
Any ideas, suggestions, tips? Anything will do.

PS: Will Gigi make me squirt???
    • Rainbow
Wow... that looks really splendid, in fact, all of them do.
It looks like it's going to be my G-spot's best friend for ages.

That must be a bargain but it is kind of expensive for me at the moment but as soon as I can afford one I will surely have one in my toy box.
    • Siren
My dear, not every woman is able to "squirt", it depends on every woman's physiology but it is definitely going to send you to Seven's Heaven of Pleasure.
I own one, the Liv, and it's just terrible, in the good meaning of the word.
I can assure you, you made a perfect choice if you're looking for G-spot stimulation.
