My cute little vibe

If you had to buy one toy only for yourself, I wouldn't pick this one. However if you like to collect neat looking toys for various situations - I think this is a nice addition to any moderate collection. If you happen to leave it out, it a nice piece to look at.

Use

This handy little vibe is strictly for the clit. Although it has a rounded tip, it is almost too short to insert, barely noticeable anyway.

The vibration is not very strong, so I think this would be a good toy for people who are highly sensitive.

The size of this toy isn't very big but it isn't anywhere near a bullet either so using this toy on your own or with a friend but not during sex, is probably ideal. The odd shapes makes it difficult to hold if you have someone inside you.

Material / Texture

I haven't put this toy in my mouth so I couldn't tell you about the taste but as far as I could tell there doesn't appear to be any weird rubbery smells.

While the texture doesn't add any additional stimulation, the plastic feels like a high quality. It is very smooth, and clean.

The material works well with the product and doesn't feel as though any of it will come off.

Design / Shape / Size

I bought this toy for the shape. It looked easy to use but not overtly sexual. Although I appreciate the advanced design of the Layaspot, I found it to be a bit too dainty. I would have liked for it to be bigger overall.

I think this is a great toy for beginners, but is also suitable for more experienced users s well. It is a small and easy to clean so it seems vacation worthy, not necessarily keep in your purse appropriate though.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibe on its highest level isn't too strong. You know how those little silver bullets are crazy strong and intense? This vibe isn't like that. The vibrations are filtered through the head of this toy and only come out of the little head of the toy.

There is a plus and minus button to lower or raise the intensity of the vibration. They are those little flat type buttons that are sometimes difficult to push. I think a scroll wheel would be a better solution.

Care and Maintenance

Because the majority of the toy is taken up by the battery space, I think they recommend not to submerge it in water. I prefer to use cleansing toy wipes on it.

It is durable handy little piece so I don't keep it in my steamer trunk of toys, I just toss it in my underwear drawer so I can grab it at moments notice.

I don't need or use lube for this toy because I can just turn it on and set it on my clit for a little bit to get me wet, so I can't speak to the compatibility of the different types of lube, however it does come with a little booklet of instructions that I imagine address this issue.

Packaging

This toy was packaged nicely. I didn't really read the instructions. The package can be used as storage case if need be, although I don't use it.

Personal comments

My hand gets a little cramped after holding this for awhile, so it probably isn't good for a long lonely session where you have to work at your arousal for awhile. This vibe is better for quick little trips when you just need to get the job done.

Experience

My husband didn't really care to use this toy. Facing the beaver, holding this toy is an awkward position to him, plus it is a bit on the small side.
Follow-up commentary
This is still a great travel size vibrator. I probably don't use it as regularly as I used to but it still gets the job done nicely and the battery life is good. The vibrating power hasn't decreased at all.

      not sure but we have the Laya and the better than chocolate ( the music ed) both have their good points, but the laya is a little smaller and compact. Both were really well tho and the music seting is fun feature!

      Some reviewers state that this is a waterproof toy but my instructions clearly state that it is only splashproof. Perhaps the instructions have changed? Maybe Fun Factory decided it wasn't really waterproof? If you have this toy, what did your instructions say?

      Furthermore, a few people said that they received silicone based BodyFluid with their LayaSpot but I received their water based lube and, again, my instructions said not to use silicone based lube (I believe, can't find them).

      Also, I think it's just me but my Layaspot pretty much smelled god awful when I got it. Anyone else?

      I've heard that fun factory toys can stink to high heaven, and I have no idea why they would because they're supposed to be 100% silicone. I have other silicone toys and they don't smell at all. Maybe it's not the toy itself but the packaging that surrounds it? Sorry I'm not much help, but the smell that people talk about with FF toys is enough for me to be wary of buying one.

      I have since pitched my instructions, but I think mine said splashproof rather than waterproof. I got the Toyfluid (water-based) lube, and mine was smell-free! All of my FF toys have been totally odorless, actually.
