New impulse rabbit - rabbit vibrator by WHK GmbH - review by Trashley

The New Impulse Rabbit dual action vibrator by WHK GmbH is a pretty great little vibrator. WHK GmbH's cheaper toys clearly show the marks of poor craftsmanship, but honestly, they constantly get the job done for me. While this jelly and PVC toy is wonderful for clitoral and vaginal stimulation. I imagine the rabbit could POSSIBLY do a very pleasing job of stimulating the anus, but I haven't tried and I would also suppose that that would strongly depend on your anatomy because this toy is NOT flexible. It does have a thin jelly sleeve, but the majority of it is PVC, which is THICK and HARD. It has three speeds and seven patterns, for a total of ten different settings. The lower settings are low enough to tease and the higher ones are definitely enough to get you off. The vibrations are especially nice on the nipples. There's just enough vibe on the lower settings to tickle you in the most pleasurable way. This is not a complex toy. It's not new, it's not innovative, it's not clever in any way. A more advanced user will probably be rather bored with this toy, but I think a beginner will find this absolutely delightful. It exceeded my expectations at least! My last WHK GmbH toy, the Fairy Massager was loud as all get-out. This vibrator was much quieter, so I'd say it's great to use in a house full of people; they won't hear. You can use this during lesbian sex, during straight sex during a break or just teasing during foreplay. It's best use, however, is definitely during solo time.

When I read the other reviews, I expected to open this toy and recoil immediately in fear. I opened it in a completely closed car, and the smell? Not bad at ALL! At first, I admit there was a little burst of rubber, but it wasn't like I walked into a tire shop. The next day I revisited it, and there was no way I could smell it unless I was within six inches of the thing, so I don't know how the other reviewer's father could have smelled it unless it was waving under his nose! After one washing the smell deteriorated to where I could no longer smell it unless my nose was directly on the toy, and I'm sure with use and more washings that the smell will dissipate completely.

The texture is nice; there's pros and cons. The outside of the toy is jelly. Make sure you use a condom on this guy!! That's very important. It's porous so it collects bacteria. Even if you're not sharing this or switching holes, just wear. a. condom. Trust me, you don't want to get any kind of infection just because of laziness or a certain preference. Safety first! Then teamwork.. Remember that! The inside of the toy is PVC, though. Tough, hard plastic, and you can feel it. As you can see in the pictures the clear parts are all jelly and the blue is plastic. The head is nice, but not too flexible and not too squishy. It's pretty dense all in all, and those who don't like firmer toys will not like this. It does not feel like a real shaft, so don't expect it to.

My last WHK GmbH vibrator was made of plastic and TPR. It was much more safe and much more flexible. I could move the clitoral vibrator all over the place. This PVC and jelly toy is rigid, very very rigid. The clitoral vibrator does not move much, so it's a lot more dependent on your anatomy and your ability to rock back and forth comfortably on the toy. Luckily it worked for me, but I can understand that other buyers might be hesitant because of this feature.

I said before that it does not feel like a real shaft, which is true, but only partially. The head is like a really exaggerated shaft. The bulb on the head is extremely pronounced and it perfectly stimulates my G-spot, which I'd never been able to explore before. A+, guys! :D Anyway, there are nubbies right under the tip of the head, but they're only on one side of the toy. The head is so pronounced that you can barely feel them if at all. Going down the shaft, the sleeve expands, or bubbles, if you will, almost two times before reaching the base of the clitoral vibrator.

Speaking of, the clitoral vibrator and jelly were a great combination. The vibrations really get through nicely, and not much is lost in translation. More on that later, though!

The thing that I like about the design and hate about the design is the same. It's clear. I love the way it looks. I think its beautiful. Not too feminine, yet not masculine. It's just the perfect amount of neutral and vibrant colour. However, being clear lends this toy to a lot of visible juices. Mmmm. Sounds good, right? Yuck. Also, when the toy's sleeve presses up against the PVC, the color stops being this lovely shade of blue and smooshes into a light sky blue. It's hard to explain. The streamlined look of the toy is also disrupted by this effect. It's hard to explain, but when the PVC and jelly come into contact in this certain way, the light is bent, looking like someone injected your jelly sleeve with neon spring blue jizz. It's really not that pretty.

You can also see all the manufacturing. The bullet vibrator is attached to the more traditional vibrator by a a coiled light blue cord, which you can easily spy if you look at the joint. It also just looks like a cheap $7 traditional vibrator. But, of course, with more investigation, you see the head, controls, etc.

The size is wonderful. The head is a bit big, and you will most likely need a bit of lube unless you're like me, "wet as a rainforest." Haha! But trust me, this toy will get you there. It's 8 and 1/4" long with 5" insertable which is about as long as if not longer than an average vagina, so you should be filled up pretty well. The diameter is 1 and 1/2", which is not as big as some, but a good standard. If you like to be really filled up to the brim, this may not be your number one choice, but the head is really great and gave me as much of that girth "umph" that I needed. The rest just followed through smoothly.

I'm not a fan of animal vibrator heads, but this rabbit did me wonders. I had to rock back and forth to really get it to hit my clit the way that I liked, but that rocking got me my first G-spot orgasm as well, so it seems to be alright! The nose is great for pinpoint vibrations if you can get it to reach, and the ears do a lovely job bouncing back and forth while vibrating. The clitoral vibrator attachment is about 4.5" long. If you think that can do the trick for you, by all means this could be your toy, but know in advance about the troubles you may have with your compatibility.

My previous WHK GmbH toy had a production seam on it, and while this one does not have a seam, it has.. droplets? strings? tiny thin dollops? of jelly on the tip. If you're sensitive to these things, you might want to steer clear of this toy.

It's a middle of the road user's toy, I think. Advanced users will pass on the poor quality and beginners will pass because of the confusing vibration modes and necessary material care.

This toy is possible to travel with, if you've got a big bag like me wherever you go, but people are gonna know what it is. There's no way NOT to know. It's the baby of a traditional vibrator and the Sex and the City rabbit. Unfortunately, there's no easy way around that unless you've got a case. It doesn't weight that much; it comes in at about 1 pound, so at least you're not lugging around another suitcase for this guy.

This toy takes two AA batteries inserted + side down. The batteries last a pretty alright amount of time. I've gone about ten sessions with this guy up to twenty minutes each, and I haven't had to change them. Mix that in with using those same batteries to illuminate my room with the universe for five minutes a night, and you've got a non battery guzzler on your hands! This is nice on non-rechargeable toys because batteries can get pretty darn expensive.

This functions are simple, but not my cup of tea. After you screw the battery cap back on, you can press the singular button on the bottom of the toy, and it'll turn on. It automatically starts on the lowest vibration. The vibrations are located in the bullet vibrator seen in the rabbit clitoral vibrator and centered in the very tip of the traditional vibrator located inside of the jelly shaft sleeve. The vibrations translate AMAZINGLY through both materials and although I didn't instantly think, "WOW! My vagina's vibrating!" the vibrations were enough to, again, give me a freaking G-spot orgasm without hardly moving the darn thing at all!

There is NO separate off button, so if you accidentally turn it on, you have to cycle through ALL of the settings to turn it back off. I'll arrange the settings in a list for you guys:

ONE: Low constant vibrations
TWO: Medium constant vibrations
THREE: High constant vibrations
FOUR: High pulsating vibrations
FIVE: Two bleeps of the "TWO" setting and one longer bloop of the "THREE" setting
SIX: Escalating vibrations going seamlessly from high to low to high to low and so on.
SEVEN: Escalating pulsation going from low to high, then starts over.
EIGHT: Pulsation of caliber "THREE" that increase in frequency, then start over.
NINE: Ten short and fast bleeps of "THREE" and one longer bloop of "THREE"
TEN: Thirty really short and fast bleeps of "THREE" and one longer bloop of "THREE"

The high vibrations are high enough to make your fingers go numb after fifteen, thirty seconds. This toy is strong enough for most people, but if you're someone who like EXTREME vibrational fun, you may want to look elsewhere.

I've had noisy toys, and this is by far one of the least noisy when I take into account the power behind it. I've heard cell phones that vibrate louder than this. If I was under the covers, I wouldn't even take care to put on music (I live with five housemates), and I'm SUPER paranoid. The vibrations aren't as high and buzzy as some toys, too, which helps with the level of noise. I find the deeper vibrations to be more of a white noise than that ugly "REEEEEEEE" sound.

The button on this thing for On/Off/Mode is easy to use and work, but having the one button makes it inconvenient to turn off and difficult to remember the setting you like. There's no light that accompanies the vibration so you have to remember the number of your setting and count up to it.

Another review commented saying that when you take it into the bath or shower water sneaks up between the sleeve and PVC toy. It does. It's ugly and kinda gross. It also makes it inconvenient, because you want to be able to dry and clean your toy thoroughly! However, it does make some gnarly waves and you'll end up very happy you brought this guy into shower time. No signs of rust so far, but be sure to check your battery compartment and make sure its screwed on tight! Don't want to ruin your new toys :]

Always use a condom with this toy. As I said before, it's jelly and it's slightly porous. Whether you're switching partners or just playing with yourself, wash it before AND after, and wear a condom. Better safe than sorry.

It can't be sterilized or sanitized, so please don't boil this toy or else you won't be pleased. Clean it using warm water and toy cleaner. Harsh soaps aren't a good idea for this one, and be sure to store it in a dark, cool place (putting it inside your toy chest inside its original packaging is a good way to go). Heat and sunlight are its enemy! Don't leave it lying about.

You can use water and silicone based lubricants on this toy, but stray away from oil based lubricants.

The care is one of the reasons why I don't particularly label it a beginners toy, because you do need to be careful with it. Stop the spread of disease and infection! ::Smokey Bear impression:: Only YOU can stop infections!

The instructions were alright; not much was needed for this toy. Just put 2 AA batteries in + side down and have fun! The packaging can be used for storage, but I'd suggest taking out the insert because it's tacky. It's not discreet in the least! Thank god for Eden Fantasy's nice little generic white shipping box. The insert features a girl in a blue camo bikini smizing for the camera (Yes, smizing. Look it up!) with a belt for some reason as well as a cowboy hat. The very top of the insert reads, "7.5" RABBIT NEW IMPULSE." Just, guys, don't open this anywhere you don't want people to know exactly what you're doing. It won't end pretty... or maybe you'll make new friends! What do I know? :]
