My Go-To Vibe
This vibrator is great for orgasms in a dry area (think bed not shower) and for those who like a little girth in their penetration.Published: February 2, 2011
Pros:
Durable, easy on batteries, several options.
Cons:
Not a body friendly material, not silicone, not truly waterproof.
I bought this vibrator about twenty months ago. Four battery changes and one malfunction later it's still going strong (for the most part). The vibrations and usable size of this toy are just right for me. The insertable length is 5 inches and is 1 and 5/8 in diameter. The bullet attachment is large enough that I am able to find the perfect place to rest it on my clit. There are three speeds (low, medium, and OH-MY-GOD-MY-CLIT-MAY-FALL-OFF) of which I prefer the medium. The shaft has a rotating column of metal beads that work in a carousel motion. This isn't a feature I personally use that often but I do enjoy that not only do you have 3 speed controls for the shaft, you have a rotate option that will change the spinning of the column from clockwise to counterclockwise.
A word about that column of beads: DON'T PLAY WITH THAT!
If you use your fingers or vaginal muscles (go you!) to try to stop the spinning, it will stop working. Maybe not the first time, maybe not the tenth time (I don't know why I kept doing it!), but eventually. And before it stops working, you will notice a grinding sound as the motor tries to overcome you. Let it win.
Moving right along, there are several things I don't like about this vibe. The jelly material is not particularly good for your body. It is not phthalate free. It is not boiling water, bleach mixture, or dishwasher safe. It is not silicone so it cannot be shared between partners without a condom. The jelly material smells like a new shower curtain and tastes like one too (not that I've ever licked a new shower curtain, right?). One of the things that I really don't like about this toy (and many others come to think of it) is that is isn't truly waterproof.
I tested this toy (repeatedly hehe) in the shower. Time after time, I removed the battery lid and found evidence of water in the battery compartment. Additionally, the seal between the jelly shaft and hard plastic battery case should be more waterproofed as well. It is frustrating to say the least.
I know that this review might seem a bit confusing. I started off by telling you all that I love this vibrator and that it is my go-to vibrator, but proceeded to tell you a bunch of reasons this vibrator is not great. Let me reiterate: This is an amazing vibrator, it really is.
It is great because it holds up. This vibrator was my fourth vibrator and has stood the time test where three others failed. I have what I affectionately call a vagina of doom. My problem with every vibe before this is that the material tore where the bullet connected to the shaft. My husband assured me that it's cosmetic but I am really uncomfortable with wires hanging out in a wet area. The Waterproof Jack Rabbit has lasted, lasted, and lasted. At four battery changes in almost 2 years it isn't a battery guzzler. It is easy enough to clean. I use a toy spray and a clean cloth. The vibrations feel sensational and it has some give for getting to hard to reach g-spots.
This is a great vibrator. I can't say it's the best out there, but it has worked exceptionally for me.

What is your favourite material for rabbit style dildos?
-
I have a jelly one, wondering if it's worth the upgrade?
-
I always think silicone rabbits are best, I love thick vibes, and usually jelly is the thickest. Yeah, my guilty pleasure.
-
After the troubles my jelly toys gave me (stinging me, disintegrating) I will stick to TPR. Silicone is great but silicone rabbits are expensive and very particular when it comes to anatomy. I had one mismatch with the FF Delight and I don't care for another one.

starwars1234567889how would you incorporate this into sex with a guy. -
starwars1234567889i mean if she was playing with it what could a guy really do? -
Take over the controls of the vibrations and shaft? Maybe take over the thrusting? There's a whole bunch of different little things that a guy can do to ouse this on a woman.

Love the Vagina of Doom reference! Very informative! Great review : )
Thanks for the review!
Thank you for the review. I'm sorry you have had such problems with rabbits.
You might want to look at straight phallic vibrators or G Spot vibes and simply use a bullet or strong plug in massager instead. That's what I do.
I have yet to buy a rabbit, as I can't find one I think would get me off and hold up, and I have a lot of toys. There are really great alternatives.
Good review.
*P'Gell--I'm very hopeful that this one won't fail me. It's still holding up well. I'd go with a straight phallic vibe and bullet combo, but I don't multi-task so well whilst making sweet sweet love to myself, lol!
Thank you all for the comments! I'm looking forward to doing more reviews in the near future.
