Silver Impulse by WHK GmbH is a small vibrating bullet that can be used for vaginal penetration, but is intended for clitoral stimulation. It doesn't have a flared base making it unsafe for anal penetration, but it feels great when pressed against the chest, nipples and other erogenous zones.

Impulse can be used easily by beginners and more experienced users alike, although I think the vibrations might be a bit too buzzy for some.

It can easily be a solo or couples toy but because this toy is buzzy and loud, it's best used by people who don't need really discreet toys. If you're dead-set on getting this bullet but definitely need discretion, it is waterproof, so taking it to the shower is a good option.

Silver Impulse is made of a rigid, silver-colored plasticand it's made of food-grade material, is hypo-allergenic, latex-free, non-porous and phthalates-free. Plastic is rated as an eight out of ten on Eden's Material Safety Guide making this toy pretty safe, hygienically-speaking.

This toy is a smooth toy, but it came scuffed/scratched up taking away from the shine it's supposed to have. There is no discernible scent to this toy, even straight out of the box, and there is not a plastic taste to it, either.

As you can see from the picture below, the scuff marks and scratches almost make it look dirty. This picture was taken immediately after being removed from the box and before washing or use.


This toy could easily work for beginners because it has no texture and it will definitely work for advanced users that enjoy a smooth, texture-less toy.

Impulse is a pretty basic bullet vibrator. It's pretty small, as bullets often are, measuring in at four inches long, insertable to three inches with a one inch diameter and three and a quarter inch circumference.



Because the base makes up an inch of the toy, it's really easy to hold onto when playing alone and even easier to grip when a partner is holding it for you.

Anyone that has ever seen a sex toy will know what this is, so it's not exactly discreet, but it is small enough to be tucked into a purse for travel. It's a little too big for standard pants pockets, though. It can easily be hidden inside the home in a drawer with no worries that someone will see it.

This could easily be a toy that a beginner would pick up as a first toy. It's small enough to not be intimidating and there is enough variety to keep a more advanced user interested. It's great for anyone, really.

It was exactly what I was expecting as far as size and shape goes. It's really a very standard looking bullet.

Impulse is a multi-function, multi-speed vibrating bullet controlled by two AAA batteries (not included) and a push button on the bottom of the base. It vibrates throughout, but it's a thin plastic giving it a 'hollow' sound and making it a bit buzzy. Pressing it firmly against the body stops the buzzy sound, but that can be a bit inconvenient in the heat of the moment.

Hit the button on the base to turn the toy on and it automatically starts with the first setting. Hitting the button eight times will turn the toy off, hitting it again will bring you back to the beginning.

The settings:

1. Turns the bullet on. Low, steady vibration. (Feels more like medium speed.)
2. Medium, steady vibration. (Feels more like high speed.)
3. High, steady vibration. (Feels more like turbo speed and much too strong for average users.)
4. Fast, choppy pulsing.
5. One short pulse, five fast, choppy pulses.
6. Low, steady vibration.
7. Long, slow pulsing.
8. Turns the bullet off.

The push button control is very easy to use, however, at first glance, this looks like a dial-base toy so it can be a bit misleading if you don't inspect it before use, but it's easily figured out. It's really easy to push the button, so be careful not to go to fast when cycling through or you'll end up back at the beginning and probably more than a little frustrated if it happens more than once.



This toy is loud and buzzy. If you have roommates, kids or someone around that can't know you're using a toy, I suggest turning on some music to muffle the sound. Without it, this can absolutely be heard through closed doors, even when muffled under the covers. It's waterproof, so taking it to the shower is a great option to silence it.

Since this bullet is waterproof, it's really easy to clean. Wash it with anti-bacterial soap and hot water or wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol. Wipe it dry after with a towel or let it air dry. Once it's completely dry, store it in any cool, dry place that you store toys. The plastic package makes a great storage container and does a good job of keeping it clean between uses.

Plastic is compatible with water, oil and silicone-based lubricants.

The Silver Impulse bullet came in basic, clear plastic packaging. There was an cardboard insert stating the name of the toy and that it has seven functions. There's a picture of a woman in her bra and panties on the front. There were no instructions for care, maintenance or use of this product.

The packaging makes for a great storage box for this toy only. It could be given as a gift to anyone looking for a decent bullet vibrator.




The packaging and the insert are fully recyclable if you decide you'd rather discard it than store your toy in it after it's open.

Even though this toy is non-porous, it can't be sterilized and I recommend to use toy covers or condoms if you intend to share with others.

I was on the fence about this bullet after I got the batteries in and turned it on because I really dislike buzzy and loud toys. I don't need discretion so it's not really an issue, but I'm easily distracted and I find this toy mildly annoying when I'm in a really quiet room.

The first time I used this bullet, I was really frustrated with it. I'd cycle through to my favorite setting, number seven) and I'd be really enjoying the build up and tease, then I'd accidentally touch the base and the next button push turns the toy off. Then I'd have to cycle all the way through again and attempt to build myself back up again only to bump the button again. I eventually laughed it off because I do really enjoy the tease, but it is a bit irritating to be right on the edge and to just barely touch the base and have it shut off.
