My new favorite toy!

It took me a while to figure out, but now that I know how to use it, it's a powerful and very stimulating product and definitely my new favorite toy!

Use

For anyone not familiar with rabbit-style vibrators, this toy is intended to stimulate the g-spot and clit simultaneously. The external piece vibrates (strongly) and the inside piece vibrates and moves in a circular pattern. The inside and outside pieces are controlled separately, which is nice in case you need more stimulation internally than externally (or vice versa). I would suggest it mostly for solo use as (at least for me) it's sort of difficult to find the right placement to make it work. That being said, when it does, it's great!

Material / Texture

The material is 100% silicone and it definitely has a soft/pliable sort of feel to it. This is my first silicone toy and as compared to a hard plastic toy, it has a lot of drag and you will definitely need a good amount of lube to use it. As noted in the instructions you will want to use water-based lube so that there is no interaction with the material. The whole product is very smooth with no texture and the piece that stimulates the clit is very flexible and can be moved around while in use to adjust to your body.

Design / Shape / Size

As one can see by looking at the toy, it has two pieces---one that is designed to be inserted and one that lies on the exterior of the body. The shape of the internal piece is tapered and smaller at the tip so that it's easy to insert. I find it to be very nicely sized, but I suppose that also depends on the user. If your boyfriend (or your favorite toy) is massive, you may not be satisfied. To me it's about the same size or maybe a little smaller than an average-sized penis.

As for the external piece, I find that it is more tricky to place properly. I wanted to use the toy hands-free, but I find that to keep it in the "right spot" is a little tricky because of the moving internal piece. It also overshoots the target (so to speak) if fully inserted. That being said, if I use my hands to control it, it works very nicely and definitely hits the right spots!

It's worth noting that I do not think the toy is discreet or good for travel. If you look at it, any grown person will be able to guess what it is (or at least have their suspicions). It's also quite large, so I would not want to stash it in my purse and go. That being said, you could definitely put it in its storage bag and put it in a suitcase or an overnight bag.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are two buttons on the handle which separately control the internal and external piece. The longer you push the button the more the intensity increases (in terms of speed of rotation or speed of vibrations). There is no button to decrease so in order to decrease the speed you need to hit the button to stop it and start over, increasing the speed. There are no dedicated levels so you just keep pushing the button until you're happy or you don't feel like it's changing anymore. I've only stopped it in the middle of use accidentally a couple of times but it's not that disruptive because it speeds up quickly.

The toy makes a decent amount of noise, but relatively speaking I'd definitely call it quiet (as compared to a wand, or my old cheap plastic g-spot massager.) If there was music on at a decent volume, I wouldn't think someone would be able to hear it, especially behind a closed door.

I find that the vibrations are plenty powerful for me (and I've been using vibrating toys for years). The most important thing in my opinion is that the charge seems to last forever! If I fully charge it, it can easily be used 3-4 times over a week or two without a noticeable decrease in power and without recharging it. I have another rechargeable toy (a Lelo) and it loses its zing after half a use it seems like, so to me this is a miracle and is probably one of the reasons it's priced as it is.

Another reason it's priced as it is, is that it's fully waterproof. While it's not really my thing in general, I finally tried the toy in the bath today and it worked just fine. I did not fully submerge it but I would not be worried to as that is what the toy is designed to do.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is incredibly easy to care for as it is fully waterproof and fully made of silicone. I take it to the sink and rub it up and down with antibacterial toy cleaner and let it air dry since if I use a towel to dry it, it gets linty. As I mentioned before you will need lube, and you should only use a water-based type so that it doesn't interact with the silicone. The toy comes with a nice-sized bag which is where I store it after it dries.
    • Easy to clean

Personal comments

At first, I was sort of baffled as to how the toy worked. I couldn't get it to stimulate me in a way that was worthwhile and thought it was an overpriced piece of cr*p. I gave it one more try, and sort of experimented with different ways to use it, and now it has become my favorite toy (even surpassing my wand-style massager)! I especially like the circling, the dual controls and the long lasting rechargeable battery and I'm looking to buy another Jopen product (probably a larger sized model with a different shape clitoral stimulator). While it's pricey, it's a very quality piece, I'd suggest anyone who is interested wait for a deal and invest!
Follow-up commentary
This toy still remains the go to toy in my box (even better than a certain wand massager) and was definitely worth the money for its quality, ability to use in water, ease of cleaning and power. As I mentioned in my original review, it takes a while to make it work for your body, but once you find the best way to make it work for you, it's really great.

Great review! I hear you about the battery. I just took my Vr5 out after not playing with it for several weeks, and it still had a charge!

  • Vr7 Vs Vr10-11-12
    • Can anyone tell me what the specific differences are between the Jopen line's Vr7 and Vr10, Vr11, and Vr12?

I have seen and held the Vr7, but not the others. I can see that the end is different, and that the shaft of the Vr7 appears to be smaller both in length and width, and that the small arm/ear portion of the vibe seems to be a somewhat different shape, and that the Vr10, 11, and 12 have a couple little ribs in the middle of the shaft.

And of course, the Vr10, 11, and 12 come with the little charging port stand thing.

Are there any other major differences? I saw a video somewhere where a girl was showing how you can adjust the flexibility or degree of rotation on the Vr10, and it didn't /seem/ like you could do that with the Vr7. Is this true? Are the vibrations different? Fewer settings? In terms of actual functioning?

I've also heard the silicone for some reason is different on some of the Vanity line, like the Vr3 apparently is more of a lint magnet than some of the others, or something? What have your experiences been with the Jopen silicone in that regard both with these toys specifically as well as any others in the Vanity line you may own or otherwise have experience with?
    • well I was looking for an answer to this question myself. looks like the community was unble to help in the last 5 months. :(
