Doc Johnson's Mood Playful vibe is quite the clever vibrator! It's perfect for clitoral stimulation, offering either a super smooth plastic side, or a more tacky TPR side (divided laterally), for a complete range of sensations.

Mood playful would be great for singles and couples, and can massage many erogenous zones and parts of the body with pinpoint accuracy.

The only application I would advise against for this toy is inserting anally, as there is no flared base. Gentle stimulation with no insertion is recommended, however!

The white half of this toy is made out of plastic (super smooth), and the other half (in this case, blue) is TPR/TPE. Both of these materials are phthalate free (rubbery, and slightly catchy). The variety possible in texture is something I've never encountered before in a sex toy, and it's a fantastic concept with an equally satisfactory execution.

This toy will give the more advanced user some variety (and an interesting sensation when inserted! I recommend lube), and users who are new to the sex toy world, the opportunity to experience both sensations and to figure out what they prefer.

When used as an insertable, I recommend lube; the TPR half of the toy will snag otherwise.

I can detect a tiny amount of odor when I hold the toy right under my nose.

Clocking in at an insertable length of 4" and a pretty-average-sized diameter of 1.125", mood playful is the perfectly sized clitoris vibe for any user, regardless of experience, and a great insertable starter vibe for the curious beginner.

Anyone who happens upon this toy will probably know its function, but it's not gigantic, so it'll stay hidden nicely. Its small size also makes it the perfect travel companion.

Mood Playful's functions are definitely easy to access. At the far end of the shaft on the end of the battery cover, is a small round button marked with the number 3. Push once and it turns on! And each time you push, the vibration climbs higher for a grand total of three settings. I did push the button by accident a couple times, but it's so easy to find my favorite setting again that I can't be bothered to complain.

The toy is moderately noisy (if you have shy roommates, turn some music on). The lower vibration settings are, as one might expect, quieter.

It's waterproof and the ring seal above the battery pack performs great.

Because of Mood Playful's materials (described above), it's semi-porous and therefore not sterilizable. If you share this toy, use a condom -- otherwise, clean with a mild soap and water, or your favorite toy cleaner and wipe dry with soft cloth.

Mood Playful is compatible with both water based and silicone lubes! So go ahead and slather on your favorite. Personally, I prefer Pink Water for this type of toy - specifically: non-anal, female play.

Be sure to store this toy separately from other toys, as some material will cause others to break down over time.

To be honest, I was charmed! It's feminine, but not girly. The packaging, while only being a cardboard box with a blister insert, completely captures the playful feel promised in the name. The outside is presented in striking black with glossy swirls with lines of brightly colored polka dots; the inside of the box, seeing through the clear insert (behind the vibe) is crisp white covered in the same fantastic colorful dots. Uplifting!

The back of the packaging echo's the dot motif to indicate features and instructions; a clever way to tie it all in and give their customers the information they need.
