Standard wand vibes line the walls of the store I work in. They all claim to be powerful, whisper quiet, amazing, etc. What appealed to me about the 10-function Risque G initially was its narrow shaft, G-spot tip, and hard material with a soft-textured coating. Then I tested one for a customer, and fell in love with the 10 functions. The intensity of the steady vibrations had me hooked. I bought it that night. Since then, this little guy has been my go-to toy for clitoral stimulation. The small tip is perfect for hitting my clit in just the right spot. I guess it can be used internally as a G spot vibe, but it's pretty narrow for my tastes in that department.

The unique thing about this toy is not the multifunctions, but the diversity of the functions. There's pulsation, escalation, but there's also random, choppy, and fluttering sensation functions that are a welcome surprise. Also, the memory chip is a great feature. When I shut the toy off on a certain setting, it starts right back up on that setting so that I don't have to cycle through the rest of the settings to find it. (Perfect for when you think you're roommate just walked in and you have to shut off for a second, but find that your roommate wasn't the source of the sound so you want to jump right back in).

I've noticed that some lower-end coated vibes will flake or dull after repeated cleaning, but this toy continues to feel as great as when I first I bought it.

Sadly, I'm experiencing some glitches from it after only 4 months of use. After maybe 10-15 minutes of use on the more powerful settings it has been shutting off. I'm assuming that the toy is overheating. California Exotic Products are very hit or miss in terms of reliability, so I am not surprised. However, don't let that deter you from trying this toy, because with every lower-end vibrator you run that risk. I have seen with identical products one will die after a month, and then another will last a year or more. I plan on replacing mine from Eden Fantasys because I love this little guy so much.
