Waterproof jack rabbit - rabbit vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Crissy

I purchased the Waterproof jackrabbit as my very own introduction to the world of rabbit toys. I fell in love with this rabbit right away. The rotating head hits just the right spot and the vibrating rabbit ears stimulate the clitoris without being too powerful. The rotating beads add a nice touch. The size is just right, not too big and not too small and the girth is just right.

This toy is great to use on your own or with a partner. My husband loves to use this toy on me before we have sex because it is such a turn on for him to see how much I enjoy it. I have tried this toy in the tub and it works just as well underwater as it does in bed.

Should you ever feel compelled to try inserting this toy backwards so that the little rabbit ears stimulate the anus, I would strongly advise that you do not do this. My husband tried it on me and it resulted in a loud yelp from me because the angle of the rotating head hit the wrong spot and caused me some pain.

The Waterproof jackrabbit is made of jelly material. If you are going to share this toy you should use a condom to protect from the spread of bacteria since it can not be sterilized. I would recommend storing this toy in the packaging or a pouch because it does collect dust and lint.

As with all jelly toys the only lube you should use with this one is water based lube. Do not use silicone lube as it can damage the material. There is a very slight odor that is hardly noticeable even to my extremely sensitive nose.

The texture is mostly smooth with some nubs on the base of the head and just below it for added texture. The nubs on the head resemble a smiley face. The rabbit ears are firm and there is an egg inside the base of the clitoral stimulator which gives it the vibrations.

The Waterproof jackrabbit is straight and the shaft is made to emulate a penis. At the top of the shaft is a bulbous head. While the toy itself is 10", only about half of that is what gets inserted. It could appear to be a bit too large but I personally found the size to be just right.

Because of the price of this toy and the functions I'd say it's a wonderful introduction to the world of rabbits. The length of the shaft that is insertable is only 5" so as long as you aren't intimidated by a little girth there shouldn't be a problem with the size.

This toy was definitely not made to be discreet and I'd say it's best to keep it at home with you. It is pretty large and not exactly something you can hide in your purse.

The controls are very easy to access while using the rabbit. On the base there are four buttons, two for each feature. One set of buttons is for the rotating shaft and one button is for the vibrating rabbit. There are three speeds for the shaft and three for the vibrations. You can increase the speeds by pressing the the top two and lower it by pressing the bottom two. The buttons also turn the toy on and off. There are three speeds for both features. There is also a button that will change the direction of the rotating head.

The vibrations are definitely powerful. I can get off without even having to raise it past the first level. In fact the third level of vibration sometimes is a little too much for me. The speed of the rotating shaft is just right. I usually set it to the max.

The battery compartment is inside the base. To access the batteries you just unscrew the bottom and then slide the battery compartment out. This can be a little tricky as they are pretty firmly set in there. I usually have to use my fingernail to coax the battery holder out. It uses three AA batteries which is convenient. It doesn't seem to drain the batteries like some toys might.

The noise from the vibrating feature really isn't very loud. However, the noise from the rotating shaft is quite loud. If you need a quiet toy this probably isn't the best one for you. Covering up with a pillow or a thick blanket does help but if someone were in the room with you the would definitely be able to hear it.

Because the Waterproof jackrabbit is a jelly toy, I keep it in a pouch in my nightstand so it stays clean. Since it's waterproof, it's easy to wash off with a little mild soap and water and wipe clean but there is no way to sterilize this toy. I have to clean it each time I use it because it does not stay clean for very long.

Before I bought this toy, my only real experience with toys was a straight dildo and several bullets. I loved this toy so much that in the two years that I have had it I have never felt compelled to go out and buy another rabbit. I was always satisfied with this one alone.

I got two good years out of this toy before the motor started slowing down. Even with fresh batteries, it is no longer as powerful as it was when I first got it. It is still useful to me but I really miss the power it used to have.
