Clitoral vibrator discontinued
by Natural contours

Nice packaging, attractive marketing, but what a racket!

My advice is to spend the extra $25 and get a Layaspot. This toy has a good idea going for it (the shape) but it's loud, uncomfortable, and just not powerful enough.

extremely useful review
I received the toy and eagerly opened it. The Petite, by Natural Contours, comes in very chic packaging. Batteries came with the toy, marked with Natural Contours' own brand "Power for Pleasure." Cute.

The material is hard plastic, which is odorless, body-safe and phthalate-free. The shape has a nice curve, which rests perfectly on/between the labia and on the mons pubis. Hard plastic also means easy cleanup-just wash up with some gentle soap and water! The packaging warns to use a washcloth only, as the toy is not at all water resistant. Big downer for me, I love using toys in the shower :(

Switching it on was a little confusing. The switch has 4 positions. In order of strength, the 4 positions are OFF-3-2-1. The first position after turning it on is the highest power, which confused me at first. You need to push the switch all the way to the right to start at the lowest setting.

So I turned it on. Oh dear. This vibrator is VERY loud, in my opinion. I would not recommend using it in a dormitory, which is where I live! Also, if you tilt it at all or put pressure on the middle-section, the battery compartment starts rattling around very loudly.

In terms of effectiveness, it definitely works. A little bit of lube helps this toy slip easily over the clitoris, and the vibrations work their magic. Unfortunately, the hard plastic is ill-suited to being pressed hard against the clit. Pressing too hard hurts! The vibrations definitely aren't THAT strong, so some pressure is needed. The vibrations are probably enough for a beginner, but I prefer something a bit stronger.

The battery life doesn't seem to be so great either. I've used the toy about 3 or 4 times now, for a total time of around an hour, and already I'm noting a marked decrease in vibration power.
Experience
Tips on using this toy with a male-bodied person:
1. Lubricate it a little bit, then turn it so the curve faces up, and run this vibrator up and down the underside of his shaft! My man loves feeling it vibrate his glans!
2. Gently rub the curved part against his balls. If your male-bodied partner likes testicle stimulation, this could send him through the roof!
3. Perineal stimulation. Press the tip of the curve against his perineum (AKA taint) to externally stimulate his prostate. I've gotten good feedback on this one! Just don't press too hard...the hard plastic doesn't help you out here either.

Is the dial hard to operate while playing? It looks like would get pretty slippery pretty fast. Thanks for the review! Pity it's so loud!

Great tips. It sounds like this toy is a bit complicated.

Saurou: It doesn't get too slippery, but I kept forgetting the backwards maneuvers of the switch!

Cinnamon: thanks! Yeah, it was, a little bit.
