Tuyo - discreet massager by Big Teaze Toys - review by SexySadie

The Tuyo was one of my very first toys, and as a warm-up toy, none of my other ones can really compete. The vibrations are so strong, and Tuyo's large size distributes them over such a large area. Because of this, Tuyo is the first one I reach for when I'm looking for a little bit of fun. I may follow up with other toys, but this guy gets the ball rolling.

Tuyo is about the size and shape of a baseball, so it really can't be used for insertion. The blunt shape of it means that you can't use it for pin-point stimulation, but it feels great as initial stimulation on the vulva and clit. Because of Tuyo's deep, rumble-y vibrations, it sort of gives a sensation of fullness even though it can't be inserted. I've found that it also works really well as a massage tool on tense muscles in the neck of on the back.

I'm not sure as to how waterproof it is, so I really only use it on dry land. It's also really loud, so if you have thin walls you may want to avoid it. However, it is relatively discreet looking and it comes in a nice lined box that is suitable for storage and perhaps travel.

Tuyo is made mostly of plastic, with a silicone ring around the middle. The silicone is slightly roughened, but not to the point where it's really noticeable. When I first got the Tuyo, there was no real smell or taste to it at all. The silicone is the velvety type, so there isn't much drag to it, but the hard plastic does drag a little.

All in all, Tuyo is pretty plain with one purpose...to vibrate your brains out!

Like I mentioned before, the Tuyo is about the size of a baseball. I was really new to toys when I got this one, so I really wasn't sure how to use it. I'm not entirely sure what the makers had in mind for it, and, like most toys, there were no blatant instructions on what to do.

I've found that it works best to stimulate broader areas, simply beacuse of its size. I like to grind against it, and sometimes when I'm laying on my stomach reading or cruising the internet I'll have it underneath me. Alternately, you can take a more hands-on approach and manually rub it against your vulva. It's difficult for me to orgasm using Tuyo alone, so I'll usually use it to get wet and then follow up with another, more precise, toy.

The size is large and disconcertingly unfamiliar to a beginner...and I'm speaking from experience here. I had heard that the Tuyo is a great toy, and so was eager to get one. When I finally did, though, I didn't have a clue what to do with it. In my opinion, Tuyo is best for those that have explored their body a little more or already have in mind a fun use for it.

It's also really great for massage, if you tend to get tense muscles. The deep vibrations are really great for helping those out.

Tuyo is really a beautiful toy, which is part of the reason I was so eager to get one. It's simple, and discreet, and comes in a nice, satin-lined box that you can store it in. Heck, you can even store it out in the open if you want...very few would know what it really is. And if you get strange looks, you can explain that it's a muscle relaxer.

Tuyo screws apart in the middle, along one edge of the silicone strip. It takes 3 AAA batteries, but it's not a power hog. I've owned my Tuyo for two years now, and I've only changed the batteries once. (maybe that's just saying something about me, though...) It can be a little tricky to open, but once you figure it out it's fine. There's no o-ring, so I wouldn't trust it to be totally waterproof.

There is one button that controls Tuyo, located in the very middle of one of the plastic halves. Tuyo has 3 speeds to choose from, plus a variety of pulse settings. Since there is only one button, you have to cycle through every setting to get to your favorite one. If you need to turn Tuyo off in a hurry, though, just hold the button down for 2 seconds.

Tuyo is pretty easy to clean and car for. It's splash-proof, so you could just wash it in this sink with a mild soap and water. I don't really like getting it all wet, though, so I usually clean my Tuyo with a toy wipe or misting cleaner and cotton pad.

It's really, really easy to store. It comes with that nice, fabric-lined box, so all you have to do is toss it in there. It's discreet enough that you don't even have to hid it in a drawer if you don't want to.

It safe to use with water-based lube, but I wouldn't recommend silicon- or oil-based lubes because of the silicone ring.

Tuyo came in a nice storage box within a thin cardboard box. The outer box had all of the information about the toy on it, while the inner box was slightly more discreet and only has the maker's name and logo (Big Teaze Toys) on the top. The storage box for the black tuyo is black on the outside with a nice laveneder-colored satin lining the inside. There's a nice little "nest" that Tuyo fits perfectly in so that it doesn't roll around in the box. It's very pretty and discreet.

An instruction booklet with specifications for Tuyo and BTT's other products was also included, but it wasn't of much help to a confused beginner (Tuyo goes where?) other than to give directions on changing the batteries.

Tuyo has some really nice vibrations, but can be so loud it's distracting. I live in an apartment, and I worry about my neighbors hearing it! If you can get past that, though, it's really a very good toy and is a lot of fun.
