Glow-in-the-dark couple's kit by California Exotic

The Glow-in-the-dark couple's kit was disappointing. When I first got it I was excited, because I have always liked glow-in-the-dark toys and condoms. However when I put the batteries in the toy and turned it on the first time…WOW was it loud! I would have to compare the loudness to my blender or hand mixer.

It could easily be heard through a closed door. So crank up the tunes when you turn this glowing vibe on, or maybe your face will be glowing red when you get a knock on the door asking, "what are you doing in there?" The textures of the sleeves are interesting--the ribbed one is very nice. The nubbed one, however, doesn't feel very nice at all. The nubs on it are very stiff and uncomfortable.

The sleeves are made of jelly material which can't be sterilized like silicone, so do not use boiling water. To clean jelly toys use warm water and toy cleaner. Jelly toys should not be shared unless you put a condom over them. They need to be kept in a cool dark place. I did not notice any strong odors on the sleeves or vibrator. The vibrator is made of plastic, which can be cleaned easily with antibacterial soap and hot water.

The vibrator and sleeves glow really brightly. The vibrator has a multi-speed dial base. The base comes off fairly easy, even when you don't want it to. It uses 2 C batteries which have not gone dead in the two weeks I have had it, even though I have tested it several times. The vibrator is not waterproof so no bath or shower play with this one. The sleeves do not fit on the vibrator well. They go on easy enough but they build up suction once on the vibrator and are nearly impossible to get off. I was tempted to just cut the whole sleeve off but I ended up snipping a hole in the tip of the nubbed one to get it off the vibrator.

Okay I know I have said several negative things about this toy, but it isn't all bad. The vibrator itself is 7 inches long and 4 inches around; it is smooth and has a very nice feel when used alone. The vibrations of the vibe are intense when turned up all the way. Kinda like one of those electric toothbrushes when you first put it in your mouth or touch your tongue, but that is what the dial base is for. I prefer it about midway. The ribbed sleeve feels very nice also. It gives you the texture of the ribs, which feel really great, but it is not rough or uncomfortable like the nubbed sleeve.

Overall I would not say don't buy or use this toy, because it is effective in achieving the desired result. I think the kit is a fun addition to our toy box, even with the issues mentioned above. I don't use the nubbed sleeve at all, but the ribbed sleeve and the vibrator are both fun and enjoyable to use. Besides it is just cool to have this glow stick to play with.

I have had this kit for about 2 weeks now and I have enjoyed it several times. I love the bright glow that it has. I mean, let's face it, things that glow in the dark tend to bring out the kid in us; they are fun to play with. This one is really fun to play with.
