Not As Good As I Was Hoping.

This is a great toy I've found, if you don't use the extra attachments that they provide. I think is some cases the original really is best, and the extra heads that come with this toy definitely don't perform better than the standard head.

Use

I have a couple of Wanachis, and this one looked too interesting to pass up. It actually has three interchangable heads which screw on or off so you can mix and match. Unfortunately, I found that neither of the "extra" attachments worked too well for me, and that this was mostly an external vibrator. I think that both beginners and advanced users will like the non-threatening shape of the Wanachi and the silicone texture of the head.

Material / Texture

The removable heads of the Wanachi are all made from hard plastic, with a thick silicone coating. The silicone parts of the toy all have a slight "factory" smell to them which hasn't lessened with washing yet. The smell is so light though that unless you have the toy right under your nose, it isn't even detectable.

The handle of the toy is made from smooth plastic, and due to the shape feels comfortable in my hand. My husband has large hands, and he also found the handle to be very comfortable.

The handle and original head of the Wanachi are not at all flexible. However, the two extra heads (one looks like a g-spot stimulator, and one an anal toy) are both a bit flexible where they protrude from the head of the attachment.

Design / Shape / Size

When it came down to it, I really only liked the original head. Both the g-spot head and the anal head didn't do a whole lot for me.

For starters, the g-spot head is very difficult to maneuver to get inside of me. Unfortunately, between the hook and the head of the toy, there is only about one inch of space. Since the head is somewhat flexible, you could move it about an inch and a quarter total. The toy has to fit not only past your pubic bone, but also any skin directly on top of your pubis mons. I can get it in, but only after a lot of finagling and once I get it in, it's just painful and doesn't quite reach my g-spot either.

As for the other head. It's rather thin (only about three quarters of an inch in diameter) and has three bubbles on it. To me, this looks a lot like an anal toy. I can get it in just fine, but it is such a short attachment (just under two inches in length) that it really doesn't do a whole lot for me. I find that even a finger is more stimulating, and I just don't bother with this attachment a whole lot. Once you get it inside you, it becomes a bit tedious to hold the Wanachi. The entire unit is kind of heavy (with those two C batteries it takes!) so it seems like a lot of work for two inches of toy in my butt.

This toy is on the big and bulky side, and I wouldn't recommend this for travel. I really think there are plenty of other smaller toys out there which would be better in a suit case.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Wanachi Multi With Attachments is a high powered toy! It runs on two C batteries which are not included. The toy has nine, no joke - nine settings. In order to turn it on and cycle through them all you just push the bottom on the bottom of the toy the desired amount of times. One of the biggest complaints I have about this toy is that in order to get it to turn off, you have to cycle through every speed. This is so inconvenient, and a major hassle in the heat of the moment.

The Wanachi Multi With Attachments is supposed to be waterproof, but I didn't test it for this. The button which you turn it on is not water tight just from looking at it, I can tell it won't survive a submerging. This is great for land, but keep the base of it out of the water.

The box boasts a "whisper quiet motor", but I'd say this is definitely louder than a whisper. It's not the sort of thing you would hear through a closed door with a tv on low, but it definitely holds its own sound wise.
    • Easy to use
    • Long lasting power
    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

The majority of this toy is made from plastic, while the heads and neck are coated with silicone. You can use soap and water, a 10% bleach solution, or a toy cleaner to get your toy looking shiny and clean again. While you might think that you could boil the detachable heads, it's not a good idea. The heads have a hard plastic inside which is not suitable for boiling, so please stick with one of the above methods.

Since the majority of the parts which touch genitals are made from silicone, you'll want to stay away from silicone lubes. Stick with water based lubricants only.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

The Wanachi comes in a large, sturdy box which has a plastic tray inside it. You can use the tray to place the parts back into when you're done playing and store the box in a drawer if you like. The box is not discreet and has a picture of the toy, the attachments, and what is inside it right on the front. If you have room mates, this may not be the best way to store your toy because anyone who sees the box will know what it is.

There are not many instructions which come with the box, but it doesn't really need them. This toy is pretty self-explanatory.

The box is also recyclable, if you would prefer to store your toys elsewhere.

Follow-up commentary
My husband and me still use this toy (lovingly named "Thumper") a lot. It's a great size for clitoral stimulation and it is so fun to use.

The only thing is, we definitely junked the attachements already. They are just so useless, in my opinion, they both needed to be a bit bigger to do anything.

Thanks, Kitty. I read this in March. I don't have an idea why I didn't vote. Good review.

I like the nick name "Thumper" even though the attachments are useless. I have one C battery toy and it is powerful!
