Not as Powerful as I Hoped

The Mona is comfortable and easy to use, but it didn't have the power that I had expected it to have. While I managed to get some pleasure out of it, I wasn't able to achieve an orgasm. Not worth the money.

Use

At this point, I'm still struggling to find my G-spot. So, I can't comment about how well that works. The vibrations don't feel that strong internally, even at the highest setting. I've tried the other settings, but prefer the strong and steady vibration over the patterns and pulses. Other people may like the variety that the Mona offers.

As for clitoral stimulation, it doesn't work nearly as well as my Uma. The vibrations aren't strong enough, even when I apply pressure to my clit and pubic bone. The best I've been able to get is little jolts of pleasure, but no orgasm.

I've used the Mona both for solo and lovemaking. Beginners as well as experienced users can use this vibrator. It is recommended that you charge it before the initial use. After that, you can charge it after every other use without worrying about the battery dying on you.

Material / Texture

The Mona's base is made out of silicone, which makes it very smooth and comfortable. I didn't notice any smell when I removed it from the box. The base is stiff, but it feels comfortable when I thrust it inside my vagina. It doesn't have a bulbous tip, like the Uma, and is smaller, which I like.

Design / Shape / Size

Mona's design has a slight curve, which makes it very comfortable internally and externally. Its top is made out of hard plastic and doesn't take up a lot of space, maybe a third of the total length. The base measures approximately the size of the average penis, which gave me the penetration that I need. I think that both beginners and advanced users will enjoy the size.

I liked the curve because I can use the back end to press against the entire area of my clitoral region and the front end to pinpoint my hotspots.

While I've yet to bring it when traveling, I don't anticipate a problem when packing it inside my suitcase. You can store the vibrator in your nightstand very easily. It comes with a bag so that you can throw out the box.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I liked how easy the buttons were to push, but you have to be careful during use because you can accidentally change your setting. It is not waterproof, so I wouldn't recommend using it in the shower, the tub, or the pool.

The Mona has 8 vibration settings, most of which I don't use. I have to turn the volume up high to feel any significant thrumming. At this level, the noise isn't too bad. Compared to the Zini Seed, the Mona's vibrations do not make your hand go numb. I just wish that the Mona packed more punch both externally and internally.
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning the Mona is a straightforward process. I held the base under my faucet and used warm water, plus anti-bacterial soap. You have to be careful not to get water on the buttons as this can damage the vibrator. After cleaning, I used a towel to dry it off. Lint hasn't been a problem for me.

It works great with Astroglide, but tends to drag when I need to add more lube.

Charging the Mona is also easy. You simply plug it into the outlet and wait for the light to stop flashing. I usually charge it after every other use. Since I've never used it long enough for the battery to die, I'm not sure how long it will last. My sessions usually last between 1 and 1.5 hours, so I feel that I get some great usage before I feel that I should recharge it.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Lelo packaged the Mona in a simple box with a compartment for the charger. You can use the box for storage or throw it out and use the silky bag that is also included. The Mona comes with clear instructions that are easy to follow.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage
    • Would make a nice gift
