G-spot vibrator discontinued
by Vibratex

Not my best friend, or even close!

I was so excited to try this toy, but it was a major let down. I had trouble inserting it, and I'm used to larger penetration. The clitoral section works quite well, but it would be better if it wasn't attached to the rest of it. Overall, I would not recommend this toy unless you want an expensive paperweight.

Use

In theory, the idea of the Pixie Plus is fantastic. The g-spot stimulator is designed to move up and down, so that it provides stimulation similar to fingers on the g-spot. Attached to the cord is a bullet clitoral stimulator as well. This should be fantastic, really! It's a rabbit vibe with separate pieces. It should provide perfect g-spot and clitoral stimulation, but the reality is not so good. I found the elastomer to be a bit of a problem, as it was very sticky, even with plenty of lubricant. My boyfriend and I tried using it together, and I had a very hard time inserting it. I used Sex in the Shower Silicone Lube, and lots of it! It was still incredibly resistant. I know that I'm a bit tighter than most, but have never before had trouble inserting a toy of any size. Also, my boyfriend is not exactly small, so I'm used to a sizable insertion! The elastomer is very sticky, and the spikes on the sleeve were just not for me.

Material / Texture

The Pixie plus has a bit of a rubbery smell to it, which dissipates slightly after being out of the box for a while. There are "spikes" along the entire shaft as well as the clitoral bullet. The spikes are soft, made of the same stretchy elastomer as the rest of the toy. For me, they did nothing except get in the way and cause problems. I would definitely not recommend this toy for beginners.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy looks ingenious on paper. I was so excited to try it, but it just didn't work for me. The g-spot section of the toy moves up and down when turned on, and the clitoral portion vibrates. It is 7 inches long, with 5 inches of it insertable. It has a circumference of 5 inches and a diameter of 1 and 5/8 inches with a 2 inch width. It's definitely a sizable toy, and definitely not for beginners!

This is not a discreet toy at all. It's very obvious what it's for, and cannot be easily hidden. I keep all of my toys in a cabinet in my closet, so it's not a problem for me. However, if you have nosy friends, it can be difficult to hide.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The handle of this toy is made of plastic. On the handle are located an on/off switch, and two dials for control. One dial controls the clitoral vibrations, and the other controls the up and down of the g-spot portion. The more you turn it, the faster the vibrations/thrusting. It's pretty noisy when the g-spot portion is turned on. Since it doesn't vibrate, but thrusts, the mechanism is quite loud. The clitoral bullet by itself is a nice toy, if only it wasn't attached to the other portion. The sleeve around it has a suction cup type of shape on the end of it. I didn't find this to aid in stimulation for me at all, although I had high hopes that it would.
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

I find the elastomer to be difficult to care for. With all of the spiky texture, it's difficult to really get this toy clean. It's not waterproof, so it's important not to submerse it. I generally use Eden Toy and Body Wipes for my cleanup. These work well, but it's still difficult to get all of it clean. I find that it also attracts a lot of lint, as it's fairly sticky. I would recommend cleaning it before each use to remove any lint. The one good thing about the elastomer is that it's compatible with both silicone and water based lubricants.
    • Hard to clean
    • High maintenance

Experience

As I said previously, my experience with this toy has not been enjoyable. Perhaps it's because I'm a bit tighter than most, but I'm not a stranger to large penetration. It was almost impossible for me to insert the shaft, even with plenty of lubricant in addition to my natural lubrication. I tried it alone as well as with my boyfriend, but both times it was truly a bust. The design of the toy sounds great, it just really failed in practice.
Follow-up commentary
I have still been unable to really get any sort of pleasure from this toy. It just doesn't work for me at all. I truly wish it had, as it's such a great concept! So disappointing.
