My bff - g-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by ~LaUr3n~

The BFF-Best Friend Forever from Doc Johnson has MAJOR curves! This new toy design is shaped to "spoon" you snuggly and provide deep and strong vibrations. The large bump bulge on top is for the g-spot. Once this toy is in and finds it, it won't be letting go anytime soon. The size is large, so this is best for women that don't have narrow or tilted vaginal canals. The vibrations however are great for anyone. The dial controls allow for any increment of vibration from moderate to high. The plastic is also velvety and feels very nice and strongly constructed. This is definitely a new and unique product from Doc Johnson.

My BFF is made of a sturdy and had plastic. It is coated in a velvet finish with the exception of the base and controls which are smooth. It has no smell or taste and has a lot of weight to it-much more than one might expect. The plastic is safe for the body by being phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, food-grade, and latex free. Because of the size of the toy and the non-give material, make sure that this toys size will work for you because the plastic is unforgiving.

Note that plastic is somewhat porous. It is much less porous than jelly but not quite and non-porous as silicone. So, if you are wanting to share with a partner, a condom is needed. Condom use with this toy can be a bit tricky since the base doesn't allow for the base of the condom to latch around.

The BFF has a club top (kind of resembles a gold club in a way) and largely rippled body that goes through various thicknesses. The entire toy is 6" long, and about 4 1/2" of that is insertable. With a toy this thick, 4 1/2" is plenty of length to make you feel full!

The first bulge is kind of hard to measure since it is tilted, but it is around 5 1/2" around, then it gets thinner to be 4 1/2", thickens out again to the biggest part at 5 3/4", and finally relaxes at a circumference of 4 3/4". It is one bumpy ride! These major curves anchor the toy deeply in you while spooning your g-spot. It addition to the large curves, there are an additional three bumps on ether side for texture!

The base is a darker pink and rounded. The dial is a turn type with little indents to help ease turning. This also screws off to easily insert the two AA batteries needed. There is also a water seal making this toy safe for the shower or bath! This toy does have a unique shape but it is still pretty obvious as a sex toy and isn't great for travel due to size and weight, but at least it won't pick up any lint!

To use the BBF you turn the round dial at the base of the toy. The dial increase the vibration through infinite levels of vibration from low to high. The vibrations are great for all over body and adding some massage oil gives this toy a whole new dimension.

Even the lowest is a night flutter for warm up and teasing. It is also very quiet. My partner across the living could not hear this. Turning the dial about half way already produces vibration levels that could easily finish me when used clitorally and the toy is still whisper quiet. Turned all the way up produces an impressive deep vibration without the rattling that plastic toys usually produce. And it was still really quiet! The vibration levels have something for pretty much anyone!

Because this plastic have a velvet finish, I wouldn't recommend using alcohol to clean the surface. Instead, I suggest using mild soap and warm water. The BFF can be used with any kind of lubricant which is awesome! It is really easy to clean, care for, and store. Just pat it down with a towel and store back in the case or in a drawer.

The packaging is cute with isn't decorated pink plastic. It isn't discreet though since the front has a clear window showing the toy inside and the sides have large wording. It is a bit bigger than it needs to be, but not too big that you'll have to sell your belongings to store it. There is not a whole lot of information on the outside but it does come with a generic vibrator manual. While the packaging isn't super elaborate it still does make a cute gift.

Part of using this toy scared me, aside for the pain. When it is inserted all the way, it is really hard to grip and pull out. The bulb at the end partially gets sucked inside and I became really frustrated with removing it. Make sure you have a towel handy to wipe off the base to help with removal.

This is where the BFF gets demoted to GF status. This toy is just way too hard and curvy to be comfortable for most women. I liberally applied lubricant and immediately was in pain trying to insert this toy and not hit my pubic bone. I tried it in all different direction as well and nothing seemed to work. Once I got the club head in, the pain ceased until I had to hurdle the next bump. There was pain again and no matter what, I couldn't relax enough to not have pain. BUT, once it was in, it really does cradle and spoon every curve you have inside of you and this thing was anchored! I could walk around with it and there was no budging!

Turning the toy on then proved difficult. By this point, the end was completely covered in lubricant and vaginal juices. I had no grip on the end and all I was doing was turning the toy itself without turning the dial since it isn't super easy to turn (usually not a bad thing!). This was causing me pain again as the toy knocked against my pubic bone. So I had to remove the toy since I didn't have anything to wipe the end with...more pain. And reinsert it to try it again...more pain. So needless to say, I was pretty pissed off at this BFF! Finally, I got to turn on the vibrator. This made my struggle worth it for the time being. The vibrations really are deep and very lovely! However, since this toy isn't easily thrusted, I needed clitoral stimulation. What was amazing was my finger did the trick. Normally I need an actually toy. I came hard and quickly, but then dreaded removing the toy. Removal was even more painful for me since I tighten up when I finish. I wrestled with this toy and almost cried because the pain was so high! So...I hate my BFF. We had words, and the relationship is OVER.

I don't plan on using the BFF this way again...at least not for a while. The pain was way too uncomfortable and I like a little pain with my pleasure sometimes. This was just too much. I much more prefer this toy clitorally for massages. So, I don't recommend this toy for women who already know they don't like large toys or hard textures. I also don't recommend this to women who like hard toys but have not tried hard textures. The up side to this toy is that is very well made, quiet, and it really does anchor you inside. But, I didn't feel a huge amount of g-spot stimulation. Every woman is different though. At this price, it is a nice toy for the construction and quality and at the worst case scenario you can still use it for other things.

I am giving the BFF 3 stars because I'm sure it will work for some but not most or all.
