The Petite Couture Silhouette is a dainty, powerful, waterproof, vibrator, that performs well as a g-spot and clitoral vibe. The modest diameter, and sleek stream lined exterior, make this vibrator a great choice for novices and seasoned users. Equipped with seven modes of vibration, this vibe offers something for everyone.

The Silhouette is made of 100% medical grade silicone and has no odor or taste. This vibe is flexible and can be slightly bent, as there doesn't seem to be a hard inner core. Not to fret, it preforms wonderfully while thrusting and otherwise. Silicone is also non porous. Please remember Silicone toys are not typically compatible with silicone lubricant, so water based lube is your best bet. The exterior is smooth with only one ridge created by an indention that runs along the top and side portions to the base. At the base, the control and battery compartment is comprised of hard plastic.

The Silhouettes design is slightly curved toward the top portion of the shaft, and is intended for g-spot stimulation. The shape is streamline and smooth. All you pink lovers will be happy to know the Silhouette is a true bubble gum pink. The overall length is six and three quarter inches long, while the insertable length is five inches. The diameter is one and a quarter inches, making this a wonderful choice for those who prefer smaller toys as well as beginners. The silhouette could easily fit in a purse or travel on luggage.

Silhouette offers seven levels of vibration. The first three are constant steady vibrations, ranging from low to medium and high. The remaining levels are pulsating vibrations. Level four is a slow escalating rumble, with a long surge of power at the end. Level five is a slow repetitive pulse, and level six is fast repetitive pulsing. And last but not least, level seven is four fast pulses with a long pulse at the end.

I found the highest level of constant vibration was good for a clitoral orgasm. The motor is located near the tip providing intense vibration. The pulsation patterns are great, but I prefer them for vaginal stimulation. I loved thrusting with this toy and while the g-spot curve is very slight I did experience g-spot stimulation, although it was not firm enough and didn't apply enough pressure to bring me to orgasm.

There two control buttons on the front of the base, the top one is for power and the other, functions. The controls are easy to use and didn't get in the way while I was enjoying myself. The lower button cycles through all seven vibration levels. Sadly there is no plus or minus so you do have to cycle through all levels to get to your desired destination. The power button is convenient for moments when you need to kill the power quickly.

The Silhouette runs on two AAA batteries and is a powerful little toy, it's also fairly quiet. The batteries are easy to insert, and remove from a port in the base that twists to open and close. The Silhouette is water proof and I had no problem with it's performance in the water. I did have a problem with the front of the control plate though.

After using it in the shower, I dried it and put it away. A while later I pulled it back out and as I hit the power button I noticed water bubbling out from behind the control panel, puzzled I pushed on the panel and water just kept bubbling out. The water didn't dry out for quite a while. This didn't seem to effect the performance of the vibe but I do find it troubling.

Caring for the Silhouette is simple. You simply wash with warm water and antibacterial soap, or use toy cleaning wipes. Storing silicone toys together can mare the surface and disfigure your prized possessions, so please store them separately, Ziploc bags are nice for this. Sharing this toy can be made easier if it's covered by a condom, or 10% bleach to water solution can also be used to sanitize. Although this toy is Silicone, I wouldn't recommend placing it in boiling water or the dishwasher due to the motor.

The Silhouette arrived in a white cardboard box, adorned with it's picture and has text explaining the material the vibe was made of and it's functions. Inside there were no instructions. The vibrator was heat sealed in a nice foam type material which I thought was nice, because I knew no one had used it since it was sealed at the factory.

This is a great little vibrator that provides a moderate level of g-spot stimulation, and works great as a clit vibe. It's wonderful for thrusting, and is a great size for travel. As always, I love that it's body safe Silicone.
