Not so sweet

The overall design is a great idea. It offers two ends to be used for stimulation, but the buzzy vibrations and noise of hte toy was very distracting to me.

Use

Technically, this was designed for g-spot exploration, but it is best used for clitoral stimulation in my opinion. It could also be used to stimulate other erogenous zones that enjoy being stimulated.

Potentially both ends can be used so size queens can appreciate this ability. I prefer thinner toys so I use the smaller end for insertion and use the larger end for holding it.

All users can appreciate its waterproof capabilities allowing for some great fun in the tub or shower. Beginners will appreciate that it is small and does not look like a realistic penis making it not intimidating at all.

Material / Texture

It is smooth and has a visible seam that runs down the length of it, but cannot be felt. This vibrator is made out of a hard plastic and does not have any flexability to it at all. Plastic is considered an 8 on the safety scale and is non-porous so it won't harbor any bacteria. It is also made from food grade material and is considered phthalate free, latex free, and hypo-allergenic.

It is ideal for those who prefer smooth toys because there is no added texture anywhere. The only texture to it is the back has a raised Made In China spot around the battery cap, but I couldn't feel it when inserted.

It does not have any smell or taste right out of the box.

Design / Shape / Size

The Evolved Sweet Embrace is a very pink toy. I'm not generally a fan of pink toys, but that is the only color option with this product.

It is fairly small and light. It measures from the tip of my middle finger to the end of my hand. The overall length is 6 3/4" with an insertable length of 2 3/4". The top is smaller than the bottom. It is 3 1/2" wide at the tip 3" wide directly under the tip and the entire shaft of the toy. From there the base is 4" wide and increases in width to 5 3/4" wide at the end. The larger end makes a good grip when holding it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

It requires 2 AAA batteries that were not included. It has a one push button control located not quite center on the top of the toy. It twists in the middle for the battery compartment. Evolved is written below the battery compartment.

To use, hold the button for a few seconds to turn on and off. Push the button to cycle through the seven vibrations and pulsation patterns.

The first three settings are low, medium, and high vibration patterns. The next four are pulsation patterns which are as follows:

1st pulsation pattern: roller coaster from low to high
2nd pulsation pattern: pulse-pulse-pulse
3rd pulsation pattern: Fast pulse-pulse-pulse
4th pulsation pattern: pulse-pulse-pulse-drawn out longer pulse

It does not have a feature to go back to the previous setting so you have to cycle through all seven settings to find the one you like if you accidentally bypassed it. I personally do not find the pulsation patterns appealing and have always enjoyed my toys with vibrations more.

The buzzy vibrations can be felt everywhere in this toy. Because this toy can be used at both ends they are not just concentrated at the tip and the middle. The way I use it, I insert the smaller end and hold onto the larger end. The vibrations can be felt in my hand when holding it at the base which I have never enjoyed. It does not cause any irritation to the delicate areas which is a plus.

It is completely waterproof, and I did take it into the shower with me and did not have any issues with it afterwards, so it is most definitely splash proof. There is an o-ring at the twist cap where the batteries are located to protect it from getting water into the battery compartment and damaging the product. I do not see how water could seep into the battery compartment, but if you're concerned about it just make sure the lid is tightly closed.

It is not quite at all. It rattles when used externally and will need background noise to disguise what you are doing.

Care and Maintenance

Since it is waterproof, cleanup is a breeze. Plastic can easily be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water, using your favorite toy cleaner, or by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol.

Always remove batteries when not in use to prolong the life of the toy.

Plastic allows you a diverse selection when choosing a lubricant because it is compatible with water, oil, silicone, and hybrid lubricants.

It does not come with any additional storage pouch. I keep mine in my lingerie drawer with my other toys.

Packaging

This is my third product from Evolved and I have noticed they are different in their packaging than other manufactures. Instead of using boxes, Evolved packages their products in clear plastic containers. The Sweet Embrace is no exception. It is not discreet becase you can see the pink embrace inside the package. The front has the Evolved name outlined in purple and underneath it says love is back. In the middle is the name of the product "Sweet Embrace". Below that it mentions it is a multiple girth g-spot massage and is waterproof. To open, unscrew the lid at the bottom of hte container. It has a silver rounded hangy hook for easy carrying or displaying in a store.

The back mentions all of the features of the toy and has five simplistic directions of use.

Personal comments

It has a 1 year warranty.

Experience

I ordered this for g-spot exploration. I did not find this toy to work very well for that particular purpose. I found it to be best suited for clitoral stimulation and it did not have enough power for me to work well in that regard either. It has a soft curve in it for g-spot exploration, but I found the buzziness and noise to be annoying and i was not able to concentrate on the manner at hand.
Follow-up commentary
I never considered this to be something that was great for me. I really don't like that it rattles when the power is all the way on. I don't like that it doesn't have enough power for me. I have other items from this company that I like much better, but this never gave me a "sweet embrace."

Great review, thank you for sharing. It's really annoying when the buzzing transfers to my hand, it's not something I like.
